At G&B, My car was found and sent to G&B They watched and cared for my for 6 months waiting for a right part to be delivered from over seas The correct part was installed, they test drive my car for alignment they installed cameras that were ripped out by the thieves, they reinstalled and attached tire sensors, they repainted polished and prepared my 2020 Elantra in a way that makes it looked new What I'm trying to say is that the customer service was incredible, that the work and care was executed magnificently, and that I could not have asked for more because they checked on things even before I asked. They strung me along for weeks. I wanted to support a neighborhood business by bringing in my vehicle that had damage to the driver's side door and mirror. Not to mention the customer service is horrible. No updates unless you call. Even then, you have to keep calling before you can reach a mechanic. so negligent they lost my car yes you read that right - they LOST MY CAR! i dropped my car off for some simple repairs and was told it would probably take a few weeks, so i called to check in abt every other week, and was told every time "oh we will start work probably next week". after 2 MONTHS, a ridiculously long time to have my car, they called and told me that THEY LOST MY CAR!! they had been alt side parking it around the neighborhood on the street, something I NEVER authorized them to do, and had gone back for the car and could not find it. after lots of back and forth with the police, i discovered that my car had been involved in an accident a month after bringing it into g&b, after it was parked on the street by g&b and struck by another car. it took g&b a MONTH to realize that they didnt know where my car was. they LIED to me and said that they had seen my car parked on the street 2 days before they discovered it was missing, when at that point it had been towed off 20-something days before. this body shop is so negligent, they not only pushed off working on my car and abused my patience with them, they managed to lose my car. truly i would not wish this place on my worst enemy. only bring your car here if you want to be lied to repeatedly and never see your car again because they managed to lose it on the streets of brooklyn read more

G & B did a great job taking care of a dent at the fold that went through the paint on my Tesla Model 3: small but far from paintless dent removal, unfortunately. The job took less than four days, and they also helped me with little things like tire pressure and washer fluid, and had valet cleaned it--and with a dog, it was not clean and I was very pleasantly surprised, and not to say impressed. I'd got a very competitve quote from manager Devon and that's what I paid. G & B is not "glossy" like going to Tesla, but the prices also reflect that--and I'll take the dollars over the coffee. read more

Picked up my car on Saturday and since it was raining extremely hard, I didn't notice any strange noises. This afternoon I drove my car and it definitely makes a sound it didn't make prior to the accident. Now I have to take my car back tomorrow. I hope it gets fixed quickly. Will update on the progress. On Tuesday, April 1st I finally speak to Devon to explain the situation with the car. He states that I need to bring it back. I explain that I need my vehicle to drive to and from work and therefore they would have to provide me with a rental. He stated to me to call him back as he needed to discuss this with his manager. After a few hours of calling and being told he wasn't available, I finally spoke to Devon again who stated he can arrange the rental. I asked a friend to ride with me in the car to identify where the sound was coming from. The friend opened the hood of the car and saw a rag sitting on the engine. Of course I was surprised to see a rag on my engine. This could have lead to a fire. I called G & B and told Devon that I was not happy with how irresponsible they were in leaving the rag there in the first place and that now I would be taking the car to my own mechanic and informing Geico that they did not fix my car correctly after the accident. I am also going to inform the Better Business Bureau so that the money that was paid to them from Geico because of my insurance can be reimbursed. I am also looking into where else I can lodge a formal complaint because I am so disgusted with the fact that my car still has some type of noise and that they left a rag on the engine which could have resulted in something serious happening. read more

My catalyctic converter was blatantly stolen (cut off from under the car) while parked on my block. G&B Collision was one of the certified Geico car mechanics and a close/convenient location. Kijana was my contact person, and it was great to work with him and his entire team - they were professional, quick, responsive to my questions, had great overall communication for repair progress, and were super accommodating with keeping my car there while I waited for an anti-cat-clamp-theft device I ordered to arrive. Our Honda Civic was towed to G&B in mid-August to fix the suspension, replace a rear wheel and quarter panel, and fix other superficial damages, all covered by insurance. What was originally quoted as a 10-day job took over 5 weeks to complete, and when I went to pick up the car I was told they wouldn't have the appropriate hub cap until the following day, so I could take it home but I would have to return to have the cap put on. That was the second time job was delayed because the part they ordered didn't fit. They were always courteous and were kind enough to give us a discount on the deductible without prompting, but the time it took to complete the job was excessive and severely impacted our transportation and, in turn, our bank accounts for over a month. Additionally, our work schedules will prohibit us from returning to G&B during business hours to address the hub cap for at least a month, so what should be an easy fix will still be a hassle to accomplish. I will certainly look elsewhere should we ever require major autobody repair again. read more

I was referred to G & B by Geico and will admit that I was skeptical when I arrived. I met with the Geico rep, and then the owner Kadjian. I expressed my concerns, and Kadjian said he would do his best to make my vehicle look great. He explained exactly what needed to be done, and that the process might be a bit slow. I told him that I was in no rush, and to please make me happy. I would say the body work rates a ten, and the paint rates about an eight. It is impossible to tell the the vehicle was hit, but not impossible to notice that it was repainted. G & B also offers a written guarantee of all of it's work. I have had two vehicles repaired here, and will continue to use them in the future. read more

Do not take your car to this shop. A couple of months ago my car was hit by a plow. GEICO has a business relationship with this shop, so I met a GEICO agent here to have an estimate done for the body repairs (a couple thousand dollars of work). The estimate says repairs should take 10 days. Here is my experience: 24 days ago: I called saying I had an estimate done and would like to have my work done there. They told me to fax the estimate and call tomorrow to talk to someone to let me know when to drop it off. 23 days ago: I talk to someone who has not yet seen the faxed estimate. They hunt it down. They tell me they will order the two parts that take the longest to arrive so they can start work when it starts, especially since I don't have rental coverage so they can get it done as quickly as possible. 17 days ago: I show up on the day I was told to drop off my car. My car is not in their computer, and no one knows what I am talking about. Eventually they find someone who I talked to about my fax, but they didn't put the info in the computer or order parts. I ask if it will be done in 8 days, as I'm planning to drive out of town for a holiday. They say "yes" without reservation. 9 days ago: I call to arrange to pick up my car the next day when I was told it would be done. It's not done. In fact, they haven't started working on it. They have taken a few parts off, they tell me. After I remind the shop that they had told me I had been promised it would be done, they offer to put it back together so I can use it for the weekend. After talking to 3 different people, including being patched through to someone I'm told is the manager who isn't in the shop, they finally agree to pay for a rental car for my weekend trip and tell me everything will be arranged when I show up to pick up the rental car. 8 days ago: I go to pick up the rental car. I'm not in their computer. I tell them what I was told by the body shop, and they said, "it doesn't work like that and you don't have a reservation. we don't know what you're talking about." I call the body shop. They make some calls. After making me miss an appointment dealing with this phone tag, there is a car waiting. I have to pay for it at this point, presumably the auto body shop will reimburse me. 2 days ago: I call to ask when my car will be ready. I'm told I will get a call back. I don't. Yesterday: I call again to ask when my car will be ready. I'm told "it's in the paint shop now." It will be ready tomorrow and I can pick it up after work. I ask whether it will be ready at 2, and they say I can call around 10 in the morning to get a better idea of pick up time. Today: I call at 2:30 to find out if I can pick it up now or at 5. I'm told it will be ready the middle of next week. I'm super disappointed in this experience. As a result, I've now had to cancel my plans for this weekend, as I relied on the word of people at this shop. Do not take your car here. read more

I just picked my repaired Subaru Outback up after leaving it here eight days ago following a fender-bender. I chose G&B, which I had never berfore used, based on GEICO's recommendation. Devon, the manager, was very helpful when I brought in the car. The process was quick and painless. My car was beautifully repaired AND it was ready one day before the promised date. It has been a horrible experience working with G&B. I went there original because there was a Geico Claims office (adjacent to the building) to inspect a small fender bender I had gotten into. The guys at the Geico office were very professional and helpful, but, the autobody shop itself was a disgrace. Naturally because the two are business partners, they recommended the shop next door. Since I was there I decided that would be the easiest route. First off, I had to come in three times just to drop my car off. Once for the car inspection by Geico. Then, even though the estimate was done at Geico, they required another inspection to be done by the mechanic himself. The mechanic told me to come in at 9am. When I arrived, he had no recollection of the appointment ever being made. I had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes just to drop the car off. After this point, I originally asked the lady to give me an estimate on how long it'd take to finish the work. She said she wouldn't know because they couldn't find the estimate in their autobody shop and would need to have the Geico office send them a new one. They said they'd call me at the end of the day, did not. I called the next day, the manager said he'd call me back in five minutes with an answer, did not. Finally, he said it'd be done in 8 days. I called on the 9th day (Thursday) and they said wait until next Tuesday. I called that Wednesday, they said probably the following Monday. I called the following Monday at closing and they said Wednesday night/Thursday morning at the LATEST! It's no Thursday at 12:30pm ..... With this level of unprofessionalism, I can't imagine what my car will look like. Biggest load of bullshit in brooklyn. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! read more

Have had a terrible experience at this auto shop. After reading some of the positive reviews, and after talking to the owners who appear very nice in person, I decided to take my car here. I was to get my car back last thursday, and it's not yet with me. It has been over a week now for replacing a bumper and grill. I am now actually worried about my car. Staff does not return calls. I was told on Saturday to go over at 4:30 p.m. to pick up my car, and waited for over an hour after getting there to even talk to someone. After the owner met with me, they told me the car was still not ready - come back next week. There seemed to be confusion - between the manager Jesse, the owner Ellis and another guy that works at the shop - about who said what when and why. They kept complaining about each other to a CUSTOMER! Today is the day I was to get my car, but of course they have not delivered as per promise! I've been going to G&B for the past few years and i've always been satisfied with their level of professionalism!! Most recently my fiancé and I were in a minor accident and had to have the entire front right panel replaced... It may have taken a couple of days longer than expected but that was due to the insurance company's response to the claim... This Month (January, 2018) was my second visit to G & B Collision Center and they were fabulous both times. Both times it was a Geico claim. The Geico rep was excellent, quick, seamless. I was in and out in about ten minutes when I dropped off the car. When I picked it up from G & B I had to wait about 20 minutes. I was able to observe the staff with other customers. They were consistently friendly, informative, efficient and gracious. I was actually taken aback by now well everyone was served. Actually, I had a lovely time waiting...including listening to the birds they keep in there. When the car was ready it was spotless inside and out.
