Best Service Auto Body

These are the things I value in a car body shop: knowledge of my particular make & model,…read morehonesty/transparency in diagnosing and recommending fixes with reasonable costs, easy communication throughout and strong follow through. You give me that and I'll never go anywhere else. And that's exactly how I'd describe Best Service Auto Body. Both Alex and Yuro are awesome at what they do. I've been there twice with a 2017 BMW X3 xDrive28i and have needed a new driver side fender, sunroof drains cleaned out, brake pads and indicator sensors replaced, oil change, etc. The fender was the biggest job so far - I think some random person was walking around one night and just decided to kick mine in for some reason. It wasn't hit by a car because the paint was intact; regardless, I needed to get a new fender as it was bent so bad. Given this car is 9 years old with white paint I thought the new fender would stand out in noticeable contrast to the weathered paint on the rest of the car, e.g., the hood, door, roof, etc. I was totally wrong (see before and after pics) - I don't know how Yuro did it but he matched my paint color and then blended it so well I can't even tell a new fender was put on! You definitely can't get that level of service just anywhere, especially without paying extra. You can tell they take great pride in their work. As if that wasn't enough, they cleaned my car for free before they gave it back to me. Apparently there was some chemical substance that got on the window and paint the day before I dropped it off. No matter, all gone. All of this has been at half or less than what a dealer would charge. These guys are the best, and the name says it. Go there and you won't be disappointed.

I first just have to say that Best Service Auto Body is true to their name. I just needed a simple…read morerepair which was to replace the right side rear view mirror on my car which was damaged. The same day I contacted Best Service Auto and described exactly what I needed they gave me a quote . Later that same day I went to the shop so that the part needed could be ordered. The next day in the late afternoon I was contacted and asked if I could bring my car in that afternoon. I brought my car back and the guys replaced my rear view mirror within an hour. I am truly amazed at the top level of customer service that they proved as well as the reasonable price that I was quoted and paid. I have to thank these guys for working with me so swiftly to replace my mirror.

East New York

Preface: If you're new to Saabs or mechanics in New York brace yourself. Labor is not cheap…read more(anywhere) and Saabs aren't the kind of car you can throw generic parts at. It'll be expensive. That said. I love this shop. It reminds me of the mechanics shop I used to hang around at when I was a kid. Roland is cool as hell and his prices are as good as it gets for Saab work. He knows all the major maintenance and finding difficult to source parts is no sweat for him. I bought a complete basket case of a 9-3. It was a good deal for the year but it was pretty beat. So far I've had two major jobs taken care of by Roland; the timing assembly and the dreaded MY 2007 valve job. Both of which, while not 90's accord cheap, were WELL under any other quote I could get in the city. Eurotech in Woodside (great shop they know their stuff) wouldn't even touch the chain. Roland had me out the door for less than $1500. Compare his prices to what people claim to have paid on the Saab forums and you'll see he comes in shockingly low. The work is good. I haven't had to go back for anything to be re-done and all of his fixes have completely cured the given problem. Given that he's done the two most serious jobs on the car short of a transmission or re-building the bottom end I think its safe to say he knows his stuff. Finally, the best part of a shop visit is checking out what's parked out front. 9-3's 9-5's 900's of every model and type. Its like a Saab museum. I love it. Though be warned, if you drop your car off it will be street parked. Mine is a lifelong NY car so, whatever, its already scratched up, but if you're a freak about the paint then its best to pick the car up the moment its done.

Great service and very knowledgeable. Roland must have Swedish roots. If he can't fix it no one can…read moreso don't waste your time going elsewhere.
