This business responded to me saying I was frustrated they messed up 4 appointments in a row by commenting about HFMD I had SIX years ago. (To embarrass me into removing the post) Then because they knew I was using an alias to protect myself they mentioned my birth name in their public response in an attempt to bully me into removing my review. They never took down their response despite the blatant disregard for my safety and HIPPA laws. I would like to press charges. 01/28/23 Since I was meeting friends for dinner in this area, I decided to try out a local nail spot (I'm still looking for a nail spot the past 2 years because my nail tech no longer does nails). A year ago I got an infection from a nail shop hence the reason I'm cautious about getting my mani & pedi done. I actually don't mind paying a little more if I know that the shop is sanitary. I got a mani and pedi (non gel). I find that shops will always push you to have the gels done. It's a personal preference not to have gel done. I had it done years ago and it thinned out my nails. I'm sure gel products and the processes have improved but no thanks. Staff - the two ladies that did my service were both nice, the receptionist was as well. Service - my pedi wasn't bad, it was decent. My mani - the polish would bubble up on certain spots. It was the same polish as my pedi but I felt like she was rushing and didn't apply even thin first layer. It showed when she did a super thick second layer that didn't cover my whole nail. I had to show her spots that had gaps. Tools - the real reason why I'm writing this review. They advertise that their nail equipment is sanitized, etc. I even saw them open a new pack infront of me. That's really not the case. Since I was sitting near the sink, I saw all of the workers come over and rinse their tools under the faucet. Some would scrub it with a brush but all they did was that, pat dry it on the towel on the counter and put it in a new plastic sleeve. That is not sanitizing the equipment. It wasn't just an isolated incident, all of the staff including the ladies that did work on my nails, did the same thing. Also, they bowls they use for our hands is just put in the drawer/cabinet under the sink. They don't even rinse it out. I don't know if the workers just grab from that stack when they fill up the bowls with water or does someone wash them. This place doesn't sanitize their nail tools between clients. Only putting to star because of the customer service receptionist was super nice and Linda very sweet However in the photo as you can see I have swellness and I think it's even possibly infected I went in to take out one ingrown nail and I ended up having a little more than one but the total that you see on the photo only had one in wrong now but she still took out some of my skin on the side that was perfectly fine it did not hurt I have no problem with that one side and now it's infected painful and swollen I don't know if it's because she used dirty tools or the fact that she just really injured me On top of that it was taking longer than I was expecting also I paid $60 just for a pedicure with gel maybe that is a fair price but in my opinion it's a little pricey I'm sure this never happens but I am just sharing my experience so this business can grow and learn from its mistakes read more

I came here on a Monday morning after requesting an appointment through Yelp. The person who made my appointment (I think the owner) was super helpful and informative). I came in for a gel pedicure and a gel full set; it took about an hour and a half and I paid $95. Linda did my pedicure and JJ did my manicure and they both did a really great job! Linda initially did a regular pedicure by accident but was nice enough to remove all the polish to do the gel that I wanted (even after I told her it was okay). I did cut up a bit on my pinky but to me it's not a huge deal. The receptionist was also really nice and answred any questions I had! The only thing I didn't really like was that I noticed they didn't open a new package of tools (nail clippers, cuticle clippers, etc). It's not a huge deal but I just think it's so much more sanitary and my old salon used to do this. Besides that, the salon itself was pretty clean and the employees who didn't have any clients were sweeping and wiping stuff down. I'll be returning to this salon! read more

I was a regular here Pre Covid. The service was great nails were always perfect. After covid, it's just not the same. - it's dumb expensive here and the quality and service is just not worth it. They don't even offer you drinks or snacks anymore. So why are they charging the same??? - it's unsanitary. I saw one of the technicians RINSE the tools she had just used on a customer and seal them as if they were clean, then proceeded used them in the next customer. So I'm not surprised to see reviews about infections here. - Linda, is not experienced enough to be a nail technician. She doesn't speak up when something is out of her experience, which is pretty telling from a customers perspective when someone doesn't know what their doing. Their excuse is " because she doesn't speak the language well " Anyways, I could go on but I hope this helps the business make some necessary changes. read more

Yesterday (11/28/2021) was my second time visit this shop. I had a great experience the first time with Nancy and another artist. But this time's service quality definitely not good. My manicurist not only applied the gel so poorly that I found out the nail polish was uneven under the sunlight, also I found out he trimmed too much cuticles that I can see the cut on my finger and it hurts when I touched water . The artist Hannah was doing ok for drawing but when I came home I found out there are air bubbles on the art also the strokes was really rough. I'm satisfied with the pedicure service, but with manicure service like this, I AM NOT SATISFIED with it for 150+20 tips. read more

Note to self: "Do not drink Four Loco and walk pass by a nail salon." So about couple weeks ago I had a shot of Four Loco at Pizza Port Brewing in San Clemente and not sure what in the world I was thinking but I had my very first manicure done at a different nail salon. I had my nails colored all black except one finger in white. My friend told me it's very Punk Rock. I did like the color but nail polish at the other nail place was done very poorly missing some spots and also did not last long and chipped away pretty fast after few days. So I asked the ladies at my work and I was recommended to try Gel nail polish instead since I use my hands a lot at work. After reading lots of good Yelp reviews I decided to give Füma Nail Bar a try. Amy did my very first Gel Nail Polish and I'm in love with how it came out (Video attached). Amy really took her time to trim and file my nails, and did such a great job covering all areas of my nail. Since this is my first time trying Gel nail polish not sure how often I have to do this but I will definitely be booking my reservation with Amy for my next visit. I was kind of desperate to find a nail salon that was open. Luckily I was able to find one near by my house. Originally I felt the outside service was pretty cool I was good. However, as I was getting my pedicure...the struggle was real because the buckets they are using aren't sturdy enough to hold a persons leg weight. Having to balance that and be semi comfortable was not jiving with me. However, pedi turned out okay, but still nothing compared to my usual spot. I got bit by a mosquito in like 7 places just in the 45 min I was getting that service done. It was fine and the weather became pleasant so that wasn't an issue anymore. I then switched technicians to get a full set, something I have not had done in almost 5..6 years at this point. For the most part I thought the guy glued on and shaped the nail I wanted well, which was short coffin nails. It quickly went downhill from there. When he applied the powder, to shaving to shape, to the nail paint. All a disaster. Here is why: the powder is not shaped what so ever. From the side it is just flat, when he was shaving near the cuticles he basically sliced into my skin on 4 fingers..... and it just burns!!!! And last but not least, the paint job. It looks like a 5 year old painted my nails. I am actually pretty disappointed because it was a trash job and it cost 128$ They have a menu which shows mani pedi cost I chose to do gel pedi as I always do and that cost was 45$ right? Nope, wrong, they charge 20$ for gel. So 65$ there and then for the full set an additional 20 for gel. LITERALLY NOT WORTH IT! The front desk lady was so nice, but what a terrible first experience. Quite frankly, I think I should have just not gotten my nails done. Would NOT recommend. read more

I used to come to this nail salon a lot and have had good experiences. After 3 months ish of neglecting to get my nails done, I decided to drop by a few weeks ago for maintenance. 3 months doesn't seem like a long time but I was disappointed in my experience this time around. I came in around 11am on a Tuesday and the front desk was empty. No receptionist. I did see 2 women. 1 was seated at the pedi chair on the far left at the very back. I thought she was a customer but it turns out she's a nail tech who happened to be on her cell phone. And the other lady, also a nail tech who was on her phone was sitting in a chair at the back of the salon, in front of the sink. I called out to both of them but none of them heard me as the music was loud and they were both preoccupied on their phones. I even waved my arms in the air to get their attention and they still didn't look up! Intuition told me to leave because it wasn't worth it. I could already foresee that I would get a crap mani/pedi. Appointment made at 5:30 for a full set nails for my daughter and a pedicure for myself. They said just a few minutes. They asked if my daughter wanted the Gel X which she said no. I went back for my pedicure and my daughter sat with me the whole time. The lady did a decent job but I've never paid so much for a basic pedicure with no massage. Throughout my pedicure they kept trying to talk my daughter into the gel X. I finally had to step in to tell them to stop that's not what she wanted. The girl from the front desk would come by occasionally and say to my daughter "a couple more minutes". My pedicure ended and we were asked to go wait in the front. By 7:15 we decided to just go and my daughter was never seen. My daughter:Appointment 5:30 wait time 1 hr 45 minutes, left without being seen. I stumbled into this salon while waiting for a nearby business to open. It's a gem. The staff is super pleasant; they had great ambience and I really liked the bunch seating option. I didn't have my children with me but I saw they offer mani/pedi services for kids and that is always a nice touch. The prices are average for salons and the service was exceptional. I can't rave enough about this place. I am so thrilled at how my stiletto Gel X nails turned out. The first time I got them for my birthday and the lady there did an okay job. Nothing to write home about. But THIS TIME??? Omgggg... they treated my hands and feet like a queen. I wish I got the lady's name who did my nails but Linda did my pedicure and both of them are sweethearts. The lady for my nails asked me if I wanted my cuticles treated and she gave me a nice manicure before putting on the nails. Much appreciated. She gave me an ombré look on the nails too. All my 9 year old, almost 10 year old got was basic mani/pedi because I don't let them use the tools on her. The woman who did my pedicure did a good job and took her time. However, the woman (I didn't get her name, but the equipment on the cart said Tracy) that did my manicure did a less than stellar job. She completely rushed it and it looked so sloppy. My sister started her manicure before I did, but mines was done before hers. It was our first and it will be our last time coming to this place . We were in the area so we search or yelp for a good nail salon since my daughter wanted to Get her nails done . First she ask for acrylic and then for gel x and they had no availability, but they mention to her that they had someone that could do dip powder for her . So she said yes she had a design French tip as one hand black tip and the other red . The base color was not even close to the picture it was too dark the quality of the work not so good. So we didn't complain because it was our fault for not going to our regular place in Buena Park. Oh ok so then 3 day when by and guess what her nails started to chip smh usually dip last a few weeks maybe one month if done right . Her nails look so ugly .
