Shrimp tempura taco. Wrong toppings.

Picked up an order at about 6:15 today, when I got home the food was wrong. The burrito I got did not have all the right toppings, missing queso and jalapeños which I paid extra for. We got 3 tacos, two with no tomatoes or lettuce and one with all the veggies on a corn tortilla. All the toppings were switched and wrong. I wouldn't normally be upset but there was NO ONE IN THE RESTAURANT. NOT A SINGLE CUSTOMER AND THEY GOT THE ORDER WRONG. When I called I was told there was nothing they could do tonight and to come back tomorrow to talk to a manager and MAYBE get them relaid. I asked for a refund and they told me to leave a review Worst experience at a Fuzzy's restaurant ever. I wouldn't be upset if it was a busy night but I saw NO customers in the whole restaurant.

Got the shrimp and fish tacos. Fish tacos were good with the corn tortilla. Had doubts over the reviews but will be back for the fish tacos!

Brisket taco with an oz of brisket

If it would allow zero stars.... Unbelievable how this place has fallen. Ordered shrimp tacos. Came out with three mini shrimp and barely any cheese. All i could taste was the tortilla Next the ground beed taco. Same a small spoon of ground beef and a scant of cheese Final taco was brisket and again no more than an oz of protein. Absolutely pathetic. Taco Bell provides a greater value!

Not the best experience. I used to love Fuzzy's, but to be fair, the last time I went to one was back in my college days. We went on a Tuesday because the location's website clearly listed that the promotion on Tuesdays is 50 cents off most tacos and happy hour prices all-day. We went in and asked which tacos qualified for 50 cents off. Only half of them did, which was a bit disappointing since it was all of the good tacos that weren't eligible (see attached photo of the menu). We also asked about the all-day happy hour, and the cashier said that it wasn't happening even though the website had it listed. So either the cashier was not up-to-speed on the promos or the website needs to be updated. I got the taco plate with grilled shrimp. The tacos were just meh, nothing special and also all the food was cold. I also ordered chips and queso, and the queso was cold (not even warm, like actually cool). The only saving grace was the strawberry margarita, which I felt was a good value at $7. Probably won't be back as there's so many other amazing taco spots in DFW.

Cute decor. I ordered the Saucy Brisket , the Grilled Shrimp Taco , the Baja Fish (cod) taco, fuzzy's rice and the Latin fried potatoes. The Saucy Brisket on flour was the best part of my meal. I also liked the garlic sauce. The latin potatoes were cold and nothing special - I barely tasted any sort of seasoning. The Fuzzy rices was good but I could tell that it was warmed up from the day before. The Baja Taco was not good at all to me- I took one bite and had to spit it out. The presentation was good however my overall experience as a 3 out of 5. Customer service was really good and the restaurants was clean. I'm not likely to return.

Chicken Nachos and a delicious margarita.

My boyfriend is from Texas and has always told me he'd take me to a Fuzzy's one day. They were the perfect meal after a long day at a museum. I could see why he loved coming here during his college days. Recommend for good, quick eats and relaxed atmosphere.

Really?

I stopped in one day for a late lunch. The crowd was thin and there was no line at the counter. Nor were there any employees at the counter. So I waited...and waited. Eventually a young woman comes out to take my order, and acted as though I was interrupting her. I got a salad and iced tea. She handed me my receipt and walked away. Ok. I go to the drink station and the entire soda fountain was down. Luckily, there was tea and the ice dispenser was functional. My salad was good. The tea was ok. But the customer service sucked, the tables were not cleared, and there was nothing about this experience that would make me go back. It looks to be a recent build, and maybe it was an off day, but it is not what I expect on a trip to Fuzzies. I will stick to the Arlington and Watauga locations.

Inaccurate daily specials

Visited Fuzzy's Taco Shop on Tuesday in honor of Taco Tuesday. The restaurant is quite deserted when you first enter there. On Tuesday, some tacos are 50 cents off; however, the shrimp tacos are not included. We started with ordering the shrimp tacos, which were a little underwhelming. I added some more flavor by using the hot sauce that was on the table. Additionally, the shrimp were not deveined, which didn't sit well with me. The chips and queso came next. There weren't enough chips in the bowl, and the queso was chilly. Finally, we ordered the strawberry margarita, which was tasty and for which I might go back. By the way, the website's daily specials section is incorrect, or the cashier wasn't aware of the specials.

Shredded chicken and grilled fish tacos

Who doesn't like Fuzzy's?!?! Atmosphere - 4/5 - Large spacious area with a bar. Cheap drinks and plenty of seating. Staff - 4/5 - Friendly and fun. Bartenders are nice and heavy pourers. Food - Ordered the following: - Shredded Chicken Tacos - 3/5 - My least favorite, but I always get it since it is the most "healthy". - Grilled Fish Tacos - 3.5/5 - Same as above (but 2nd least favorite) - Tempura Fish Tacos - 4.5/5 - One of my favorite. Can't beat battered fish on a taco - Spicy Pork Tacos - 4/5 - Great flavor. Not very spicy. - California Heat Tacos - 5/5 - Probably my favorite. It is not hot so don't worry. - Fajita Beef Tacos - 4/5 - Very good as well, but a little salty. Overall, Fuzzy's is a great spot for quick tacos and cheap drinks.

Half eaten brisket salad

Always a good time at Fuzzy's. The cashier was super nice and doubled as a bartender to make my margarita. For lunch today, I had a fish taco and a brisket salad with their house vinaigrette, says tomatoes. Everything was good today - would not mind going back to this location when I'm on this side of town.

I arrived during the lunch rush, and both the parking lot and the restaurant were packed. Even though they were extremely busy, we were immediately greeted by a courteous and polite young man who quickly escorted us to a booth. We were seated in Ms. Maria's section, and she was a wonderful server. She greeted us with a warm smile, brought us menus along with the lunch menu, chips and salsa, and promptly served our water. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and was friendly, attentive, and very courteous throughout our meal. The chips and salsa were very good. My only suggestion would be to offer a salsa without cilantro for those who prefer it. We ordered the Create Your Own Combo Plate, which included a chicken flauta, a crispy taco, rice, and refried beans topped with cheese for $15.50. The taco was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, while the chicken flauta was covered in a flavorful red chile sauce that had just the right amount of heat. The rice and refried beans were seasoned perfectly and complemented the meal well. We also ordered the chimichanga, smothered in cheese sauce and served with rice and refried beans, for $16.00. It was well seasoned, delicious, and satisfying. The flavors weren't overpowering--they were balanced and enjoyable, making it a dish I would gladly order again. This was my first visit to Mi Dia From Scratch, and I came away very impressed. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the restaurant also offers a nice outdoor seating area. Between the excellent service and flavorful food, I will definitely be back. I hope you'll give it a try too!

The restaurant was clean with plenty of seats and parking outside. I did not get a "homey" feel but that may be just me. Our server was attentive and efficient. No problems or complaints. The free chips and salsa were good but not outstanding. The salsa was warm and obviously homemade, but it lacked kick. It was tasty but not "OMG this is good." I started with a cup of Roberto's queso which is the standard queso cheese with some ground beef, pico, and a tablespoon of guacamole. It too was good but not outstanding. I am not sure what it was missing but there was something that was needed. I had the two beef tacos and they were just average. Not much flavor or anything distinctive. The ground beef was not well seasoned so they were kind of bland. The rice and black beans were also kind of bland. Frankly, my tacos at home are better. The wife had the taco salad and liked it, although it did not come with any dressing. She used the salsa. Not sure if that was an oversight or that is the way the salad is served. She was also happy that they serve Negro Modelo on tap, so she was happy. The kid had nachos with black beans and cheese and did not complain. Overall, the meal was fine, nothing was terrible, but nothing really stood out as a compelling reason to return.

Yet, for the longest time, Baja Mex Grill did just that by serving the strongest margaritas in town. In fact, I had always heard that there was a limit of 2 per person. Although it may have only been a rumor, it was a good policy nonetheless (I speak from experience!) Even if margaritas weren't your thing, the food still held it's own. Basically, you couldn't go wrong with a visit here no matter your preferences. I don't know exactly when or how many times the ownership changed over the years, but apart from the name, nothing about this place is the same today. It was immediately evident upon being served chips and queso that both seemed like they came straight from a package. The extra hot salsa we requested turned out to be a creamy, green concoction that had a jalapeno-y flavor, but somehow still wasn't spicy. I will give them credit, however, for a very tasty regular salsa that appeared to be made in house. For my entree I ordered the Picante Enchiladas. Contrary to what the name implies there was no detectable heat. Furthermore, the grilled chicken on top had the distinct flavor of a frozen version made by Kroger. Once again, that prepackaged element reared it's ugly head. My husband and sons were mostly underwhelmed by their meals as well. The phrase "I've had better" was echoed around the table. And, they aren't normally a picky bunch! Our server brought everything out quickly, checked on us often, and kept our drinks topped up throughout our meal. So kudos to him! I have said this before, but it bears repeating. The Tex Mex arena is far too competitive for mediocre food like they serve here. It's a shame that a place I once considered to be 4-5 star establishment barely earns 3 stars now.

Save your money and possibly your stomach…read more I genuinely don't know what happened to La Hacienda Ranch over the last year, but the decline has been impressive -- and not in a good way. We used to really enjoy coming here. After our most recent visit, I'm not sure we'll be back. The experience started going downhill literally at the front door. We told the hostess we had a party of four, and she seated four people with two menus. Apparently we were expected to read in pairs. Then we waited...and waited...for our server to finally appear. This was a Wednesday night. The restaurant was somewhat busy when we arrived, but it cleared out pretty quickly. Unfortunately, our service speed did not improve with it. Our waitress had a fascinating ability to identify everything she was forgetting without actually correcting any of it. "Oh, I should bring you more chips." No chips. "I should bring you another water." No water. We needed additional silverware. That became another waiting game. At one point, it felt like we were participating in some sort of restaurant-themed escape room where the goal was to figure out how to acquire menus, water, chips, silverware, and eventually food. And then there was the food. We waited approximately 45 minutes, only for it to arrive cold and incredibly mediocre compared with what La Hacienda Ranch used to serve. One chicken dish came out cold enough that I was genuinely concerned it may not have been fully cooked. The salad dressing deserves its own honorable mention. What arrived looked so bizarre that I initially mistook it for a bowl of refried beans. It appeared to be balsamic dressing that hadn't been properly mixed -- separated, lumpy, and completely unappetizing. Nothing says "enjoy your salad" quite like wondering why your dressing has the structural integrity of bean dip. By this point, the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, so I'm not sure what exactly was happening behind the scenes. After the cold food, missing drinks, missing chips, missing silverware, forgotten requests, and approximately three business days spent at the table, we were finally asked if we wanted dessert. Ma'am, we wanted to leave. This wasn't one small service mistake or an unusually busy night. The entire experience was bad from beginning to end. The food quality has noticeably declined, the service was painfully slow and inattentive, and the experience was nowhere close to what we've had here in years past. I'll be contacting management because this location used to be genuinely good, which makes the decline even more disappointing. If we decide we want La Hacienda Ranch again, we'll make the drive to Frisco. Based on this experience, this location isn't worth the time, money, or the potential upset stomach.
