Pretty dank. Frequent this location and bring family when they are visiting. Always a hit to first time visitors. Generally get a burrito but i did samples the sandwich and a few other sides. Decently large portions for the price. Full bar and indoor/outdoor seating. Helps to have a general idea of what you want. Keeps the line moving. The cashiers have always been accommodating suggesting something to order. Everyone else in line too has their favorite and they'll help you pick if you really can't decide. Make sure you listen well for our name to be called. Maybe pick an extra unique name so you'll be sure to hear. I love fuzzy's, but this is not the same place I grew up eating at. The primary issue is service- It's atrocious. When they mess up an order, an entire order of 20 tacos, I would expect some attempt to rectify the problem. But it has been over a month since they said they would refund the order, and it's still not fixed. I'm not talking about a couple of tacos being wrong, I'm talking about every taco was wrong. Ok place to stop by if you're down with kids running around without supervision and having to clean off tables. I've passed by Fuzzys so many times and it's always bumping, full of families, young professionals and kids....LOTS of them. Plus everyone appears to always be enjoying themselves, pretty much everyone of age wig a huge margarita and noshing on tacos, nothing beats that right? Wrong. The ordering process is messy, the menu is pretty hard to see from the line of people waiting for the cashier to ring them up plus they have little handheld drink menus with no prices on them. Never buy off a menu with no price on it, that means it's astronomical! I wanted a margarita but it was margarita overload so I really couldn't decide what was worth my buck. They call your name when your order is ready which is great.....except that the place is crawling with people and unruly children so I went up hoping they really said my name when I thought they did. Then you have to find a table that is clean and that's a challenge in itself. I ordered two tacos.....the grilled fish and California Heat. This place is not very good and very expensive. My wife got chips and cheese and a plate of chicken nachos - which turned out to be the exact same dish... chips and cheese only with one SMALL strip of chicken. No salsa. Nothing else! However, they charged $9 and the cheese was that cheap thin liquid cheese. I got a shrimp taco and a fish taco on a flour tortillas. My shrimp taco was popcorn shrimp and only 4 of them. Hey, come on. Popcorn shrimp is cheap... they should splurge a little. The fish in the fish taco was the size of a sardine - a small strip that was so small I never even tasted it in all of the shredded iceberg lettuce. Then we got two beers. Our total lunch tab: $32. This was our second time at Fuzzys, the first we waited 45 mins... for tacos!!! At a place where you walk up and order!!! They realized service was bad they gave us 2 free meal tickets. A month later we gave it another shot. They screwed up my order twice but said "we're sorry we will deliver the meal once it's done" After 10-15 minutes the third attempt at my meal was NOT delivered so I walked to the front & found my tacos sitting under the heat lamp. As far as chain taco shops, this place was good. The tacos are fresh and have a good variety. I had a beef hard shell, pork soft shell and a chicken soft shell... all very good and fresh. The place is a little dirty and could use a good cleaning, but I kind of expect a little grime when I hit a taco shop. The service was rough. The gal at the register said she would only eat the fish tacos (which my girlfriend loved) and she wasn't very happy to be there... but we had tacos, so we didn't care. Love fuzzy's for a quick, easy fun lunch or dinner. I've taken several out of town guests there and they always dig it. One entree is enough for two, you could get that with an appetizer. Then you'll have leftover money for the massive margaritas! One and done! (If you know what I mean). My favorite is the ghost chilli beer that is poured into the mango margarita on the rocks. Get that with fish tacos, cilantro like rice, and chips and queso. You'll spend $20 on all that and get it in less then 10 minutes. You can even sit outside. It is an environment where you order at the counter, and they call your name when it's ready. Doesn't bother me, because its fast, inexpensive, and consistently good. Sit outside, sip a margarita the size of your head. When you're ready to leave, no worries because you've already paid. Great for a quick, fun meal. read more

Did I start working at Fuzzy's? No? Why do I have to clean glasses and trash off a table for us to have a place to sit? On a Wednesday, to top it off. It was a chaotic mess with kids screaming and trash everywhere. Pom-a-rita drink= Good, albeit very very sweet. Yep, I'm a fan. The one thing I don't like is that there isn't server-service at the table. You order from a big menu board. I'm notoriously slow about carefully selecting my meals, and I savor every moment of the experience. But, we were with friends who helped me navigate, and the line was quite long. This place does fill up quickly! I had a shocker margarita - mango marg with a Shocktop. It was good, but the full beer really watered it down toward the end. The salsa that went with the chips was delightful, warm, flavorful, tomato-chili goodness. I had the beef fajitas - which were flavored well, the potatoes - more flavorful than any I've had before - and fried rice, which was also super delicious. So my instructor from school told us her experience here and my friends said it's worth a try at least once when I asked about it. I love trying new places and I like visting Old Arvada. It's so pretty and quaint and reminds me of Larimer street. with the light's, but more of a relaxed are as opposed party downtown bars and the likes. Well here's the lodown: Hug inside & there's an up and down stairs. Very roomy, but also Really bright inside. You go up to order your food, then the call your name and you pick it up. We got the chicken nachos with the garlic sauce and side of guac~ Super HUGE and very delicious! Hubby loved this and he's not a fan of nacho's in general. Spicy pork soft taco;s - this was pretty good though I preferred the this crunchy Spicy pork crunch taco - I think the shredded pork paired better with crunch. Super good! Fajita beef soft taco- My FAVORITE for sure!! The meet is Soo flavorful! Fish Taco - hubby liked it, but because I didn't know what kind of fish they used, I would not indulge myself in this. Sorry I'm a fish snob, but then again can you blame me, since I'm from Hawaii. I didn't wanna take a chance it being Tilapia. Chilaquiles ~ this was my least favorite because the tortillas were cooked into the eggs, which was soggy. I'm use to tossing it in a mixture and my tortilla's still having a crunch. I don't like mushy chips. Virgin Bloody Mary - the girls didn't know how they would charge me for this??? and asked because apparently no one's order a V.B.M before?? that's weird, but they used Mr. T's mix, which I myself by from the store and though it worth getting because it is 95% juice and full of veggies. The hot sauces on the table were good, even the hottest one was fantastic, but NOT as hot as the cover said it would be, but then again I can eat ghost pepper. I may perspire a bit on my nose, but Love IT! I'm a food pain masochist for food that's worth it. lol All in all I am looking forward to going back here very soon and trying different things such as the burritos' and etc... Maybe I'll try their drinks they're known for just because. I'm not a margarita or mix drink kind of girl unless it's B.M, but I'm open to trying new adventures. Staff was nice and courteous and there are t.v's there. It's a relax bar and eat place like BW's or Rock bottom, but not as loud as those places because this place is huge. In short, Fuzzy's was pretty awesome. We had lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We intentionally went about 1:30pm in an effort to arrive after the lunch rush. Even then it was still about 90% full. The wife got a couple of tacos as I contemplated the shredded chicken nachos. At $7 I hesitated. But as someone who likes to live on the edge...I ordered that sucker! We found our seats and waited for our names to be called. Dude, the chicken nachos came out on a huge friggin' platter like something your grandma busts out at Thanksgiving. The chips were layered with a hearty portion of shredded chicken, shredded cheese, white cheese, shwag sauce, and spices. It could have easily fed 2 or 3 people. I knocked out most of it and my wife helped with the rest. It was some serious Mexican delishiciousness. Atmosphere was super casual and fun. We really enjoyed our lunch date and I'm sure we'll return in the future. * There's an outdoor seating area as the weather allows. * Check out the seating area on the 2nd level too. * Parking is on the street. When Fuzzy's first opened we loved coming to grab a few pints and some decent tacos (almost once a week). Also hit up the TX location, which was also great. After a bit of a gap we came back in early 2018 to find that food and cleanliness had taken a nose dive. My favorite crawfish tacos were off the menu (understandable), but all the other food was sub par. Suffice to say we didn't return until a year later (1/13/19) only to find the same lackluster food/drink/atmosphere. The shredded chicken was well overcooked and dry, the spicy pork was mostly gristle, but the grilled shrimp was pretty decent. All the tacos came with fridge cold flour tortillas, and the chips with the chips and salsa were also cold. Previously Fuzzy's had a few decent IPAs on draft, but now just mostly macro-brew options. Staff was not too interested, especially at the bar, where our bartender spent 75% of our visit out vaping with a friend. Cleanliness was also sub-par, with food, cups, napkins littering the floor, and bathrooms in dire need of cleaning (dirty, no soap, no paper towels in boys or girls). Needless to say I don't think we will be back unless there is a significant change in management / refresh. Overall it is really to bad as this is truly a historic location which has amazing potential...just need to find another taco joint for us... read more

Ordered a Fajita Burrito, along with other items, to be delivered by Door Dash. Special instructions listed "No Guacamole", written 3 times, along with "I'm allergic to Guacamole" The delivery receipt even showed "NO Guac" in red ink. Well guess what ??....it had guacamole. Not much that you can do when it's a delivery order, so my dinner was shot. Very disappointed because previous orders had been fine. Update on 7/14/19 I'm pleased to say that Jennifer from Fuzzy's contacted me and sent a gift certificate to cover the cost of the improperly prepared burrito. That's great customer service !! Without guacamole, their Fajita Steak burrito is the best that I have had in years. I highly recommend Fuzzy's, their food is awesome !! read more

A family friendly place with a huge menu and reasonable prices. Yes, it can be loud at Fuzzy's with kids running around, so it is not a place for date night. But if you are looking for casual and good Mexican food this is the place. I had a couple soft tacos, both very good (spicy pork and shredded brisket) and a house marg. The chips and salsa were very satisfying and our table shared a plate of nachos so big that we could not finish it, and generously topped with guac, meat and other stuff. I like that you can find the nutrition facts on their online menu (too bad they don't list the prices). I look forward to their new location opening soon in Longmont. read more

Ordered nachos, which they stack very high, but apparently three tablespoons of bland, thin, "cheese" is what they feel is adequate. But at least the beef jerky, er, fajita beef, that I ordered gave me 4 bites worth of something with a little flavor. Stood next to several others who had also been waiting nearly an hour for food, while we all watched new orders quickly prepared and delivered to patrons who had arrived 30 minutes after we had. A good first Mexican restaurant in Colorado. My wife liked her shrimp tacos, but not the fish ones that much. My huevos rancheros were a bit different than what I'm used to (pinto beans instead of black) but still good, although a bit spicy. The children enjoyed their cheeseburger quesadilla and their churro, but apple juice being the only kid friend (ie non soda) option was a bit of a let down. read more

The food is quite good, especially the soft tacos (chicken and pork are best). Also nachos are good powered by their delicious queso. Only drawback is an inconsistent wait staff. The bright spot is the younger lady who works very hard is cheerful and friendly and tries her best. The worst part of Fuzzy's is the waitress Selena. She is surly, rude and wields a scowl that could make plants die. She seems to truly hate working in the service industry and it feels like she has a hatred towards you personally when she's "helping" you. Slowest bartender ever. Drinks tasted like lemonade. @ $11 a piece. My food was cold by the time I was able to get home. Great lunch spot in Old Town Arvada for a quick bite with friends! I just stopped by Fuzzy's on this beautiful day because I wanted to eat outside, and tacos are always a great choice! Their patio has lots of long tables to seat larger groups, but also has tons of tables inside if the weather isn't great. I ordered one shredded brisket and one egg, cheese and potato taco. The egg one was especially good with crispy potatoes! The brisket could've been a bit more flavorful to me and the taco was topped with arguably too much shredded lettuce, overwhelming the meat, but all in all, a great, delicious and inexpensive choice! read more
