Been trying to call in an order for over an hour but NO ANSWER! Kinda makes it really difficult to order when you can't call it in and when you order thru door dash or Uber no way to add extra taco meat to your nachos! Totally sux food always cold when delivered! read more

Fuzzy's is always a great choice especially in Abilene because everything else closes at 9. The staff is a young and friendly bunch. Great atmosphere to watch games and fights. I recommend the shredded chicken nachos, it is great to share, because trust me... You cannot finish it all! read more

Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Shredded chicken nachos - Mexican Near Me - Abilene, Texas

I wish I could give this horrible establishment -5 stars! We ordered two taco plates with sides of refried beans, fuzzy rice and latin fried potatoes. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was cold and tasteless. The "latin" fried potatoes were frozen home fries that were still frozen in the middle, there was nothing "latin" about these potatoes. The refried beans were almost chilled and bland. The rice was room temperature. The meat shredded brisket, shredded chicken and fajita beef was cold and tasteless. Do not waste your time and money on the horrible, horrible establishment! read more

Can't go wrong for tavern food. Nice bar. Tacos and burritos awesome. Like all the TV's.

You order a meal online for asap but it gives you a 45 min. Wait time, then the restaurant is dead and they still don't put the order in till write before the time given even though ticket says asap. Don't order online because they will be assholes to you for that and the manager will give you an attitude when there really isn't a need for one. read more

My beer was ice cold and they now carry tajin! Yum!! Carol and Cody were awesome! 10/10 would recommend

Although the cashier seemed a bit tired (and her service showed it), this lovely establishment was very good. The food was scrumptious and their layout was very nice and aesthetically pleasing. read more

I like fuzzys , the food has alot of flavor which is rare for abilene. Great tacos and nachos. When the bar is open great drinks.. however need a place inside for people to just go up and get drinks because it's nothing but seats so its hard to get a drink from the inside read more

The Bartenders and staff are fantastic and do their job very well. Unlike a couple other places close to here, and by far this is the best. read more

Fuzzy's is a franchise and some think of it as fast food versus a sit down restaurant That's fine but for the price the quality is really pretty good. You get lots of ways to combo you sides and sauce. Whether in a hurry or on a budget it is hard to beat. read more

No one even acknowledged I existed for five minutes. No one wearing masks. Had to bag my own to go order. Corn tortilla fell apart instantly. read more

Well I don't know why they advertise being open until midnight when you can't order food at 11:30 PM. Makes no sense.

It was good, but not one of those, "I'm definitely coming back" good. I thought the portions were a little small and the price to high. Haven't really thought about going back, but not totally opposed to eating there again if someone brings it up. read more

First visit to one. Tacos were great. Had fajita beef on flour and California heat on flour. Both excellent. Staff super friendly. Cilantro lime rice good. However my refried beans were COLD. very surprised. read more

Stopped in this morning to grab a couple of breakfast tacos. Fuzzy's never disappoints. - The breakfast tacos are fantastic. They did not skimp on the filling on the made to order tacos. You need to make sure you ask for the salsa, it is tasty and has just enough of a kick to make it very enjoyable. read more

Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Cold draft beer - the perfect pairing with a fajita baja taco - Mexican Near Me - Abilene, Texas

I just don't know what happened to Fuzzy's. First the quality of food sort of went downhill. They seem to have fixed that. If you've ever been to Fuzzy's you know that when your order is ready the Beeper that they handed you goes off. Well today mine did not go off. So one of the cooks came up behind me and jabbed his finger in my back and said hey man your orders up here. I am not the type of person that appreciates somebody coming up and touching me especially if I don't know you. Not only that but you came out there to be rude to me... Why couldn't you bring the order when you came? The guy didn't have to be rude about a damn thing there was no call for it. This was a second chance visit from me. The previous visit was bad as they kept screwing up my order. This visit wanted to give them a second chance and they failed miserably. Do not put your hands on your customers read more

Some of the tacos are good. Some aren't. I would say Fuzzy's is a 3.5, but that isn't an option. The bbq taco is good and so were the chicken fajita tacos. The mahi fish taco was tiny and not very good. My buddy got the nachos (huge plate), and was pretty good. A good place for a cheap bite, but not much else. read more

I enjoy Fuzzy's, the only thing I don't like is the smell of bleach and stale beer that hits you when you walk in. The food is great, enjoy coming when not super busy. The beer is the right price, taco Tuesday is a really good deal for the quality of the food. read more

We weren't sure what to expect here, but we liked it! We ordered two Taco plates, both with soft corn but one plate was grilled shrimp and the other with "spicy" pork (tastey but no heat) and both had rice and beans, one Mix-Mex rice and one cilantro lime! We got a order of chips and queso-- it was good, but probably won't order again. We saw someone with a plate of nachos and they were MASSIVE. We're definitely ordering those next time! They have cups for $1.49 (32oz) being the cup back and it's $1. They have a margarita machine upfront where you order, then a bar that sits in the middle and you can order outside on the patio or from the inside. The place is also kept pretty clean, usually places like this aren't the cleanest, but this was an exception. read more

I always enjoy checking out a new restaurant that opens up in Abilene, really any restaurant in Abilene, I just enjoy eating. Made my way to Fuzzy's Taco Shop around noon or soon after, as you might expect lines were long giving me a chance to do the "social check-ins" while waiting. 15 minutes wait in line to order around another 10 minutes for the food. Need a quick in & out don't go there for lunch now... Looks like a fun after work place for food and a couple of drinks. Wonderful outside area to sit and enjoy a Texas evening. I'll have to check that out sometime. Parking may be hard to find 9am-5pm but after that should be a short walk but that's the same as when it was the Rack Daddy location. Eat Up Abilene!! read more

Not bad for lunch or tacos. I eat the brisket nachos alot or a shrimp taco but not a chips and salsa place that I think of for Mexican or tacos. read more

This is for the location by Mall of Abilene. Lunch on a Wednesday, not crowded. I ordered shredded chicken salad. I had to take my order back to kitchen because they forgot tomatoes and tortilla strips. The guy just took some regular chips and crunched in his hand over the salad. No tomatoes were added. The chicken wasn't warm. Ugh! I usually love the food here but was totally disappointed today. I won't be spending $10 on a meal here again. Sad. read more

Place always smells like dirty dishes, especially by the drink station. Went here this week for breakfast and at least the food was good. Been here a few times for lunch and it's good to. Just don't know if I will get over the constant smell and flies. read more

Ok all you Abilene Yelp'ers! Need to try Fuzzy's Taco. Yes open long hours to meet your needs. Breakfast served all day should you sleep in. TV's everywhere, so you won 't miss the games. Chips are tremendous. Try their 'Butt Burnin' Hot Sauce!' read more

Cool place to just get a beer and hang out. I don't like that you have to buy chips (a bit spoiled with all the free chips given at mexican restaurants but whatever). Margaritas are alright. read more

I love the tempura fish tacos at Fuzzy's. I get the taco plate with the Latin potatoes and refried beans. Everything is well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their queso is one of my favorites! The restaurant is always pretty clean. The counter staff is friendly and the bussers do their best to keep tables cleaned as they are emptied. read more

This was the worst food I think I have ever had! I use to eat here often when I lived in Abilene, never was it so disgusting! I'm pretty sure my dog wouldn't have eaten the pile of slop placed on a plate! But I'd never do that to my dog, he even deserves better than that mess! Nachos aren't hard to make, but y'all sure did mess them up! The servers were more worried about the happy hour party than actual service, she seemed irritated it took us 3 minutes to look over the menu as she kept rolling her eyes and huffing! I believe she was the manager too!!!! Took a call on her cell while we were placing our order and with her taking that call she missed part of our order completely!!!! Never will make this mistake again!!! I think it's more of a hookup spot and bar than food establishment, definitely don't think it's a family spot at all! Over serving the customers was obvious with the many empty mugs on all the tables, way more than TABC allows(2 empty mugs on a table, not 6) good luck is all I have to say, better buckle up your establishment! read more

The food sucks. I bought 2 shrimp tacos and all it had was 3 tiny shrimp per taco. At $2.99 That was not good. The don't even offer a salsa bar. I would not recommend this place. Over priced read more

Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Nachos badly made - Mexican Near Me - Abilene, Texas

I went there for the first time the other day and it was horrible. I ordered the beef fajita plate, and the beef was inedible because it was so far from anything resembling tender. And that is no exaggeration; it was ridiculously bad. I ended up just piling the vegetables into a mess and fuming about how much I was overcharged for the worst meal I've had in years. I'll never go back, and recommend to anyone who isn't all about looking like some poser on Fuzzy's oh - so - cool outdoor patio to do the same, That seems to be the crowd that goes there: the hipster wannabes and college crowd that has no clue how to be an actual adult. Is that your safe space, dressing like you imagine an actual adult does, but looking like a clown when you do? Great plan. I should have noticed when I walked in that the outdoor patio was full of those wannabe adults, but the indoor restaurant seating was practically empty. read more

Best Nachos you will ever have! Everything there is very good. I love there nachos and burritos.

Just left the Fuzzy's Mexican restaurant by the mall in Abilene , for the first and last time. Breakfast is not their claim to fame , ordered huevos rancheros plate, beans were cold not cool "cold " I told cook at window and he put more in a salsa bowl and stuck in microwave , handed to me and said be careful (Not hot still barely warm). Ranchero sauce had good flavor but had lots of raw onion ranchero sauce is fully cooked, potatoes were old that they tried to reheat tasteless. Eggs were over easy and cook correctly flour tortillas were good. Nothing else was fresh or served hot ( unless from microwave ) and not even then! Not a place to come for breakfast read more

After eating here a number of times with my family I have to say the food is not my favorite. It ok, but not anything to rave about. I like the atmosphere of the place and bar service is great, but Abilene has much better places to get good Mexican food at better prices read more

Fairly priced and actually good. Got the fajita chicken tacos, brisket nachos, and queso.

I wanted to try it but when i tried to call in my order they put me immediately on hold. I of course waited until it became 10 minutes so i tried to call again thinking maybe they forgot but then it would ring and then ask for me to put in a code. Like what code i just wanna order. read more
