I just don't know what happened to Fuzzy's. First the quality of food sort of went downhill. They seem to have fixed that. If you've ever been to Fuzzy's you know that when your order is ready the Beeper that they handed you goes off. Well today mine did not go off. Some of the tacos are good. Some aren't. I would say Fuzzy's is a 3.5, but that isn't an option. The bbq taco is good and so were the chicken fajita tacos. We weren't sure what to expect here, but we liked it! We ordered two Taco plates, both with soft corn but one plate was grilled shrimp and the other with "spicy" pork (tastey but no heat) and both had rice and beans, one Mix-Mex rice and one cilantro lime! We got a order of chips and queso-- it was good, but probably won't order again. We saw someone with a plate of nachos and they were MASSIVE. We're definitely ordering those next time! They have cups for $1.49 (32oz) being the cup back and it's $1. They have a margarita machine upfront where you order, then a bar that sits in the middle and you can order outside on the patio or from the inside. I had to take my order back to kitchen because they forgot tomatoes and tortilla strips. The guy just took some regular chips and crunched in his hand over the salad. No tomatoes were added. I always enjoy checking out a new restaurant that opens up in Abilene, really any restaurant in Abilene, I just enjoy eating. Made my way to Fuzzy's Taco Shop around noon or soon after, as you might expect lines were long giving me a chance to do the "social check-ins" while waiting. 15 minutes wait in line to order around another 10 minutes for the food. Need a quick in & out don't go there for lunch now... Looks like a fun after work place for food and a couple of drinks. Wonderful outside area to sit and enjoy a Texas evening. This was the worst food I think I have ever had! I use to eat here often when I lived in Abilene, never was it so disgusting! I'm pretty sure my dog wouldn't have eaten the pile of slop placed on a plate! But I'd never do that to my dog, he even deserves better than that mess! Nachos aren't hard to make, but y'all sure did mess them up! The servers were more worried about the happy hour party than actual service, she seemed irritated it took us 3 minutes to look over the menu as she kept rolling her eyes and huffing! I believe she was the manager too!!!! Took a call on her cell while we were placing our order and with her taking that call she missed part of our order completely!!!! Never will make this mistake again!!! I think it's more of a hookup spot and bar than food establishment, definitely don't think it's a family spot at all! I went there for the first time the other day and it was horrible. I ordered the beef fajita plate, and the beef was inedible because it was so far from anything resembling tender. And that is no exaggeration; it was ridiculously bad. I ended up just piling the vegetables into a mess and fuming about how much I was overcharged for the worst meal I've had in years. Breakfast is not their claim to fame , ordered huevos rancheros plate, beans were cold not cool "cold " I told cook at window and he put more in a salsa bowl and stuck in microwave , handed to me and said be careful (Not hot still barely warm). Ranchero sauce had good flavor but had lots of raw onion ranchero sauce is fully cooked, potatoes were old that they tried to reheat tasteless.
