I switched from CVS because Alto was a new provider from Teachers Health Trust. It's like Postmates for prescriptions! You get a text when your Rx is enroute with a link for real time tracking as well as an ETA (ex: arriving in 13 min). My Rx was only doorstep and the cherry on top? Inside the package with my Rx was a salted butterscotch candy. What a nice touch! So impressed! read more

I was using CVS because it's the only pharmacy my insurance says they cover. I was really annoyed by their phone calls and texts telling me they had a prescription ready when I didn't ask them to get it ready. I asked over and over for them to stop automatically filling my prescriptions and contacting me about it. I don't like the constant interruptions. I found Alto and I've changed to their pharmacy. They make it easy for me to fill prescriptions when I need them by just going to the website or app and letting them know I need something. They bring it to my door, the same day if I need them to. Best thing is that my insurance does cover prescriptions from them. And they don't constantly contact me. I can control how and when they deliver my prescriptions. I love it! read more

Wow! Alto Pharmacy is really fantastic. I have type 1 diabetes and getting my meds is always a struggle for one reason or another. Alto's service has not disappointed. They have made it so easy and it's one less thing I need to worry about. They offer free same day prescription delivery and text you a tracking link so you know exactly when your driver is going to arrive. The drivers are also amazing! Got same-day delivery of the medicines I needed at a discounted rate compared to other pharmacies. There was delivery tracking on my phone so it was easy to tell when they were arriving. They showed up within the delivery time window they said they would deliver in and the woman who delivered the medications was kind, professional and found my house which is sometimes hard to find. I was getting my prescriptions from Walgreens but my co-pays kept going up so when I went to my doctor she told me about Alto Pharmacy my medications were actually cheaper and it's nice being able to have your medication delivered to you and you get to pick the time.You can send them a message and they get back to you within a half hour and you can call and talk to the pharmacist if you need to. i wanted to give a "5" stars but alto pharmacy said the delivery would be saturday so i cancelled my engagements that day and went to work on friday. i was notified that my medication had been delivered on friday so i had to make a trip to the post office to pick up my prescriptions! a lot of switching appointments for both days. maybe we'll get better at scheduling next time. read more

I LOVE Alto Pharmacy so much, they're truly EXTRAORDINARY! They are so fast, efficient, friendly & polite! Plus, they ALWAYS deliver at no cost! On their app they give you the capability to leave a text message for them with questions that you might have. Not only do they ALWAYS get back to me 7 days a week, they always do so within a matter of mins or just a couple of hours. They don't just leave you hanging or make your questions fit within the confines of 9-5. Other businesses tell you to send an Email to them. Then it's always at least 24 hours before they get back to you. Alto ALWAYS provides excellent service, which I greatly appreciate! Because of all of these types of added value services, plus their exemplary customer care, it definitely makes me feel like it was worth me giving them my business! Alto is the best! They have the absolute BEST customer service of any pharmacy I have ever worked with. They are incredibly responsive via text, email and phone. They give you a 2 hour delivery window and keep you notified as the delivery is in process. The pharmacy technician even delivered my meds tonight because they had so many deliveries! I don't usually leave reviews for products or services, but I felt I should in this case. I visited a new doctor and she told me about Alto so I tried it with the prescriptions from her. It is amazing! Convenient and fast and I know exactly when my prescriptions have arrived - on my doorstep! The delivery people I have met (because you know exactly when they are going to arrive) are professional and nice. I transferred another prescription to Alto because it is so convenient. At first I was annoyed that my doctor had transferred my prescriptions over to Alto rather than my usual Ralph's pharmacy but they have actually saved me money. Alto has free delivery and they break down the price of each prescription according to the actual cost, how much you save by going through them and how much your insurance benefit covers. If you don't have insurance this is also the way to go as you will save by going through them and if you link your bank account you receive additional savings. They are very quick to respond to my messages and provide a very quick and easy delivery process. If a medication seems over priced for any reason, ie less common, I would suggest checking with your local pharmacy to compare prices as some insurance companies have lower rates for special medications in store versus delivery. Overall, I will continue to stay with Alto and am very happy with their services. Thanks! read more

I initially had a great experience with Alto Pharmacy when my first batch of medications arrived. However, there was a turn of events when there was a malfunction with a vial when trying to mix one of the medications. After putting solution from one vial using a syringe and then inserting to another vial to mix the medication I went to pull out the medication from the vial and in the process, the medication splattered all over me. Losing that day's dosage of meds. When I called and talked to a pharmacist named GABRIELLA about this malfunction she told me I did it wrong and that it was a human error. Granted I have been mixing these meds now for 5 days and no issues with all the other times. So how is this human error? Could it be that the vial had more pressure than all the other ones causing it to erupt? But instead, she had the audacity to send me a YouTube link that showed how to do it. And it was no different than how I was doing it already. I lost a whole day of dosage and they made me pay to get it replaced giving a measly 20% discount when it was their fault. I find it disgusting doing business with people who pretend to be nice simply for the money. It's also disappointing to see someone with a medical background have such poor assessment and analytical judgement when investigating a customer issue. I abhor companies who really is all about the money and it looks like this one is no different from the rest. The only reason it's not a one star is because of one representative named Victor, who was sincerely trying to help and accommodate for the unfortunate occurrence. If it wasn't for him and the delivery people, this would be a one star review. I will never use this company again and will advise others and tell my doctor of my terrible experience with them. Medications are the same across the board, and there are plenty of other pharmacies that have better service than this! read more
