Unfortunately, this place is a rip off! I've had a prescription compounded at a nearby pharmacy for several months. Decided to give this place a try, and paid a little more than what I normally pay. However, when I got home, I noticed that my prescription was not filled to the top (gel substance), like my usual pharmacy does. I called Harbor Pharmacy to explain what I received and they said that they could not fill it to the top. What I received will not even last a full 30 day supply. I'm very disappointed in trying this pharmacy for my HRT. Upon being called 8 times for my 2 prescriptions of hormone cream when I arrived it was not ready. We had to walk in front of a homeless man shooting up drugs at the front door of the business. The pharmacy is NOT well educated. I was upset as they also said they would transfer my other prescription to CVS but did not because I called them out on the poor customer care. Driving 30 minutes to get a RX after being told they were ready and waiting then waiting another 20 minutes was upsetting especially given the circumstance. This pharmacy is poorly ran and unprofessional. I would NOT do business here again. How rude to lie and not transfer a prescription because they are to disorganized to have clear and basic communication with clients doctors and workers. This is awful service save your money and go to another compound pharmacy this place is just not ran professionally. read more

I've been using Harbor on and off for over a decade and their service has remained consistent - every employee I've talked to has been competent, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. There aren't a lot of businesses I can say that about. They always contact me if there's an issue with my prescription and they're extremely helpful in resolving those issues. I always have my prescriptions delivered and they always arrive on time. I highly recommend this pharmacy - with all the frustrations we deal with on a daily basis regarding customer service, you will never have to worry about feeling that way with Harbor. Honestly, I would give this Pharmacy 10 stars! I've been an "out of the area" customer for 5+ years and found their customer service to be outstanding. Every phone conversation I have had is pleasant, knowledgable, and efficient. (That is not the case with many other companies, especially during Covid -days.) Three years ago I moved out of California. After a couple of years here I thought I'd support a local Pharmacy that compounded. Not only did the personnel lack knowledge, but their "book keeping" was irregular. When I was charged for more #Rx than I had ordered by phone, AND the i discovered the "clicker" didn't deliver a consistent required amount of the dosage, I had to discontinue my business with them. I was so impressed and thankful for the pharmacy experience I had here. I was in a pinch and needed a cream compounded that was going to take kaiser two weeks, so I came here and they got it done in 2 hours!! Not only were they incredibly affordable (for going out of insurance) but very efficient. The center is very welcoming and clean when you walk in and I experienced great customer service from start to finish. Everyone was quite friendly and the pharmacist was very knowledgeable when walking me through my prescription. We'll definitely be using them for any other compound needs in the future. :) read more

Really frustrating to deal with. Have been using them for two years. They get my order wrong about 1/3 of the time: not sending prescriptions I ordered until I contacted them again 30 days later, ignoring messages, calling 5 times to confirm that insurance won't cover it, after I specifically told them I know insurance won't cover; using automated refill, then being told that sometimes the automated refill line doesn't work???? It took 3 phone calls to resolve that issue. This time, they charged me for both prescriptions but only sent one. It's incredibly frustrating. But they are the only game in town for what I need. read more

This Pharmacy is literally the best!! 10 stars from me! My last pharmacy, in Dove Canyon, Ca. Took days to fill my prescription and if I really need it they would not give me prescription any faster. (It's also hard to judge when you will be out of Hormone cream because of the dispenser.) Harbor Compounding during the Holidays had my prescription ready in hours and texted me they received my voice mail Order, then called when it was ready. Horrible customer service and professionalism from the pharmacist; Jennifer! She is so rude and incompetent and I would not recommend this company for this sole reason. She also compromised the prescription that I filled and gave me less than I paid for. It is true how one bad egg ruins the whole batch and that is the case here where I have had great experiences with the other pharmacists but my few horrible and distasteful experiences with this particular pharmacist has made me not fill my prescriptions here and I will make sure to alert my friends and family. read more

I used Harbor Compounding just recently for the first time. They literally called me 6 times before they compounded my first prescription with them. When I refilled it the second month, I asked for a 90 day supply. They couldn't even pick up the phone to tell me my insurance wouldn't cover 90 days, charged me $300 for my prescriptions and then mailed them to me. My portion on insurance would have been about $50. Now my insurance will not reimburse me and I am stuck with that bill. I find this very unprofessional, and when I called, the technician told me that they had discounted it because I bought 90 days. Had they bothered to overcommunicate when I filled my second prescription, I would have asked them to change to a 30 day supply and been able to use my insurance benefit. read more

What I love about this pharmacy is that it has a holistic twist to it. This is extremely important since the drug industry is very interested in you being overly medicated. They also compound bioidentical hormones which is very important to our health and is often the missing links to our health since most doctors are not able to pick this up and go this route. Most doctors will prescribe synthetic hormones (i.e. birth control pills) that are made about horse hormones and thus don't match the hormones within our body. The Pharmacist Mike Hua was extremely patient and attentive in explaining what to expect with the medication I was taking which helped me feel at ease. read more

AMAZING! This place is like no other pharmacy I have been to. I will no longer take my prescriptions to any other pharmacy. This place is the best if you want helpful and friendly professionals with a wonderful atmosphere. After going to my usual pharmacy a few other pharmacies who kept telling me that they couldn't help me (or care to help me), I came here and the staff and pharmacist were very helpful and understanding. They took their time and went over everything to make sure I was happy and satisfied and understood my medication. When I went back for my check up with my doctor, I told him about the Harbor Compounding and how they were knowledgable and friendly and now he is going to recommend his patients to them.
