This establishment is unethical and Roger fixing air conditioning on cars is illegal since he is not qualified to do so. When I went to the shop after work, the owner stated on video that the only way I could receive a refund for the bald tires they sold me was if I removed my review. $40.00 is what the owner offered me. To clarify the timeline: I was sold unsafe, bold tires, confirmed by a licensed mechanic. When I returned on Friday to address the issue, I was dismissed and told there was nothing they could do. I posted a truthful review based on that interaction. On Monday, the owner attempted to condition a refund on the removal of my review and came to my workplace in connection with this matter. The entire exchange is documented on video. Under the Michigan Consumer Protection Act (MCL 445.901 et seq.), businesses are prohibited from engaging in unfair, deceptive, or misleading practices. Conditioning a refund on the removal of a negative review especially after selling unsafe products raises serious consumer protection concerns. I really needed an oil chain. I should have did the deed before my almost 600 mile journey to…read moreMichigan. I didn't want to wait around at the dealership nearby, and the place next to the dealership that helped me out with battery woes on my last visit for no charge was too busy to service me. This place that still has the Pennzoil signage displayed is less than half a mile from my mom's. Since it was a weekday afternoon, I lucked out and was next in line at the bay for a quick oil change. It really does take only about 10 minutes! They even checked the pressure in my tires for me which was great since I was heading back to Maryland the next day. For just around $50 I got a semi- synthetic oil change and great service. If I am back and need a quick oil change, this is where I will go.
