If your car so much as THINKS about making a weird noise, this is where you take it. The mechanics…read moreare absolute wizards -- the kind that can hear a faint rattle from 40 feet away and diagnose it before the hood's even open. The manager runs that shop like the Navy SEALs of auto repair and refuses to let anything less than perfection leave the garage. Pricing? Shockingly fair. Like "wait... that's it?" fair. No shady upsells, no mysterious "necessary" repairs that magically appear out of nowhere. Just honest work from people who actually know what they're doing. And the owner? An absolute legend. The kind of person who probably shakes hands like a movie character and remembers your name, your car, and your dog's birthday. If trust issues had a cure, it'd be this shop.

Spent $40k+ here just to be told I'm a "problem."…read more I have spent over $40,000 at Shelby Car Aid across multiple vehicles. You would think that kind of loyalty and investment would earn you a baseline of respect. Instead, after years of giving them my business, I was told I'm no longer welcome and labeled a "complainer." Apparently, expecting the work to be done correctly when you're paying premium prices makes you a "shit customer" in their eyes. They are happy to take your money until you hold them accountable. If you value your vehicles--and your wallet--take them to a shop that actually appreciates professional loyalty. Avoid this place at all costs. They've lost a massive account and gained a critic for life.

They fixed my radiator last April. When I called to set up my appointment and told Blake the store…read moremanager my heat was not working he told me that my radiator was under warranty. So I made the appointment and dropped my vehicle off on 2/10/26. After a diagnosis , he told me it would cost me$1112.29 to fix my blower motor and resistor that would make my heat come on. And my radiator was leaking coolant and needed to be replaced. That was going to be $900, they were not going to honor the warranty because of the damage that was in front of my vehicle he believes is was caused the leak. I was never told this when they fixed it, the first time the vehicle was damaged then, but he said that repair could wait and that he could proceed\nWith fixing the blower motor and resister , and my heat should work with that repair. So I paid over the phone for that to be done. One hour before they closed the next day before it was time for me to pick my vehicle up his assistant manager calls me and tells me there's another problem that's going to cost me $2,000 more then what I was quoted for some other parts that are not irrelevant to what is wrong with my vehicle that they listed on my receipt.Abd tge assistant manager tells me something different that there is no warranty for a radiator anyway and he doesn't know why the manager told me this. So they're not even on the same accord with what they tell you. I went to O'Reilly auto parts and when they looked these parts up, one was for a trailer wire for pulling trailers and the other was a fuse box under my hood. I have a written letter from one of the employees who is willing to verify\nThat these parts are not needed in order to fix the heat in a 2015 jeep! So I paid them $$1,112 and I still have no heat in my vehicle. I feel they tried to take advantage of me as a woman and overcharge me for parts that I did not need to have my vehicle fixed. I am very disheartened that I even let them touch my truck last year because it has not acted right since they touched it. I had air conditioning before they put my radiator and water pump in , and after they fixed it I smelled fumes coming in my vehicle , and my air conditioning stopped working. So I will never use Midas again, they have lost a customer for life!

Car is now fine but if you have Lincoln as this, you might have this problem also...the water pump is in the engine, not on the outside. My car only has 60,000 miles on it. The tech explained everything so clearly so I could understand the prob & the repair. He was great. Even had me come in to recheck if it was still OK & pressure checked the engine...

When the belt started squeaking again, I was told I needed to replace the alternator. I was lucky enough walk into South Street Auto Repair. They diagnosed an oil leak was causing the squeak (not the alternator LOL). Drake stayed in touch with me daily, as they walked me through different diagnostics, repairs and costs. They fixed my squeaky belt, oil leaks, manifold leak and failed ignition coil. Brian my mechanic was very cleanly working on my car and paid attention to every detail. Finally, my exhaust is quiet, my belt is not squeaking and a slight engine hesitation that has been on going is resolved. I can't say enough good about this repair facility. I would have saved a lot of time and money if they were the first shop I would have been my first repair shop!!!
