All around great experience. I was a frequent discount tire customer, but switched to Belle Tire and am so glad i did. They were quick and super nice. They called to let me know i needed 2 tires replaced instead of 1. Costs me $318 minimum at Discount Tire for low quality tires. At belle tire i got 2 quality tires for $208. They even discounted the 2nd tire to the one i had ordered, even though the 2nd one was a more expensive tire. A little courtesy that went a long way. I need to get some brake work done & an alignment. Will be giving them a call next week to schedule those services. A nice little touch - as i was getting ready to insert my card to pay, Derek (i think?) quickly sanitized the machine down, even though I saw him sanitize it after the last customer. Be aware balancing of tires is extra. We went here for great tire prices for our daughter's car, $400 installed and pre-paid. My wife and daughter went back to pick up and they added $134 for balance and $ 50 for warranty and unlimited coverage. Coverage for exactly what? Funny thing guy did ask if I wanted tires balanced which I thought was funny but I guess the joke came with a $180 price tag. Our car is a 2012 Camry with 190,000 miles guys. This place used to be great with top-notch service. Not anymore--and based on other recent reviews, it's clear I'm not alone in this frustration. Today I was helping my 84-year-old father who needed two tires and an alignment on his Equinox. Belle Tire quoted him $800--an outrageous price for a senior who rarely drives more than a couple miles and never even uses the expressway. It felt like flat-out highway robbery. He arrived at 8:30 a.m. as a walk-in and was told the car wouldn't be ready until 2:30 or 3 p.m. I understand waiting without an appointment--but they didn't offer one as an alternative. When I told him to ask about making an appointment, I could hear the front desk guy, Scott, brush him off with, "I don't know what we have for appointments." Really? So I called myself. In the middle of asking if we could book something later in the week, Scott cuts me off and says, "You guys can do whatever you want." Then when I called him out for telling my dad he didn't know about appointments, he replied, "Well, we have to go into another program on the computer to look at that." Ummm... isn't that your job? Then, when I questioned the $800 price, he tells me, "Well, that's because he has AWD." Nope--he doesn't. Why wouldn't you confirm by checking the VIN instead of just relying on the memory of an elderly customer? Oh right--because upselling gets you more money. I got my dad out of there fast and over to my guy Lou at 32 & Powell...honest pricing, respectful service, and friendly faces every time. It's really not that hard to be kind. NEVER COME HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. came in for an alignment and they called me 30 minutes later and said I need a new rack and pinion because it was loose internally and was leaking. i went home to check it out and there was zero play in the steering so then I got under to check if it was leaking and discovered they had clearly removed one of the dust boots to make it appear it was leaking as i could clearly see where the boot had been before. read more

The employees at the front desk couldn't look more disinterested... everytime I walk in here they look so disengaged and really takes effort for them to ask can I help you. It never makes me feel great about coming here. A lot of attitude is seen. I can't complain about the work ... I usually don't have too many issues but they really don't give you reason to come back. I came here for a car inspection for my job, I called beforehand and they said I could be in and out within an hour and a half whereas all other belle tires nearby said 2-6 hours. Upon arrival he said only 45 minutes and thats exactly how long it took. Front desk employees are close together but all wearing masks (no gloves). When walking past the workers in the garage almost none were wearing masks, some were smoking together and they were all around each other - this worries me how careful they are when working inside my car and possible covid transmission on my car surfaces. Additionally my key and paperwork is in the same bag as the person before me - they don't disinfect these bags. When I got back in my car I took it home and disinfected everything from my key to my whole interior, then I took it through a car wash to have the outside washed down. In the waiting area most people were wearing masks but below the nose. They aren't enforcing customers to wear masks properly. They have seats spaced out but they have a bar area where people are sitting right across from each other. Also the coffee and vending machines were working for people. I don't think this place is taking covid seriously by disinfecting the bags everyones keys goes into, making employees in the back wear gloves and masks, allowing people to freely get coffee and use vending machine. I might come back if I have to but my dealership takes a lot more precautions. Wouldn't recommend coming here right now. read more

Once I arrived at the store, he said "sorry man, but my computer wouldn't allow me to price the tires that low".....??? Mind you, this clown has been employed by Belle Tire for multiple years! He should OBVIOUSLY NEVER promise any price that he's not able, or allowed to commit to, just to get someone to stop what they're doing, just to get them in the store. So, I had to get a front end alignment and I really didn't want to go to the stealership to get it done. I shopped around for a few different reputable places and for a few different reasons, I ended up coming here. For starters, I have come here in the past to Belle Tire before for tire service, but none of their mechanical stuff. After a Yelp event a few months back, I had them on my radar for mechanical service if I should ever need it. Also, I've been receiving $20 off coupons in my email for any service over $40 so it was down to Belle Tire and one other place for my front end alignment. I came here because A) they are reputable, B) I trust their brand with my car, C) their mechanics are legit and D) their prices seem to be fair and competitive. Also, I didn't need an appointment! I strolled in on Saturday morning first thing to get in line for my alignment. When I got their, the place was already full steam ahead! All bays were wide open and mechanics were all working diligently. I liked that! Secondly, the lobby area was clean, well maintained and all the guys at the counter were clean, working hard and ready to help customers. I talked to the guy at the counter and we discussed what was going on with my car. I told him I just wanted a front end alignment and we went over how my car was driving to help him better diagnose what was going on. I was hoping it wouldn't take all day, but I was prepared for it to be that way since it was a Saturday and obviously other people were ahead of me in line. I was prepared for my mom to pick me up and to leave my car all day. To my surprise, the alignment was done within 45 minutes. That was amazing! The guy said it was because I had gotten their bright and early, thus allowing me to receive quick service. When the service technician brought up my vehicle specs, the guy at the counter said it looks like I must have hit a pot hole and the left side of my vehicle had been out of line, but fortunately for not to long. He told me (which I already knew) that letting a vehicle go to long with the steering out of alignment can cause for suspension problems and excessive wear on the tires. I told him that's why I was there. Who wants more repair bills? NOT ME! I really appreciate the quick and courteous staff at Belle Tire. After my $20 off coupon, the bill was $69.99. I had all 4 wheels aligned, which is normally $89.00. I will be back in the future! read more

I went in for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of this location as well as the professional service I received from Joe and the staff. They gave me several options and I decided to wait inside. The followed social distancing at this location and I was able to wait inside without the worry of getting sick. Everyone was wearing a mask which was reassuring. I was told it would 30 minutes and it was completed timely. I asked if I could have them done. They said yes. Took the van in for two new tires and ordered 2 more. The assistance Manager would not give a discount because the next two tires were put on a few days later. I scheduled an appointment and had to wait longer than expected. When my car was finished the tech brought my bill up to the assistant manager and placed it on the counter next to the checkout register. The assistant manager just walked away. The other sales person at the next check out pointed out to the Assistant Manager that the bill was on the counter for check out, he mumbled and still walked away making me wait even longer just to be rude. I do not recommend getting tires here they won't work out a discount when you buy all new four tires if not put on that day, and it was outrageously expensive.... did I mention the rude assistant manager? read more

My Low Tire Pressure light came on today while I was out, so I looked up the nearest Belle Tire. But I had my puppy with me in the car, so I called to see if she could come in. The manager was very kind, and allowed her to wait inside with me. After a quick check of all 4 tires, they found a tiny nail in the one that was triggering the warning light. They fixed the tire, and I was on my way -no charge! I have been buying tires at Belle for years, because the service and prices are always good. But it's the little things they do AFTER that the sale(like putting in air for me and now, repairing my tire for free) that guarantee my continued business. read more

I have been taking my cars to Belle Tire on Rochester Road for several years. The service is good, prices are competitive and the store hours are excellent. An important note is that they have alignment equipment at the store which is important. If a tire issue should arise, correct alignment can be easily assessed. Years before going to Belle, I had a problem and the tire store said it was the alignment and the alignment shop said it was a problem with the tire. The time and trouble was awful. Belle provides free rotations and repairs if I purchase tires there. Finally, they take the time to explain tire choices regarding a purchase. Some places will try to steer you based more on price than value. Finally, I had a bad experience at a Belle in Detroit, so they may not all be the same. However, I have always had good experience at the Belle on Rochester Road. read more

I took my truck in for an alignment. They said it couldn't be completed saying I needed $1200 worth of repairs. After talking to people at the auto parts stores (ex employees of this chain), they explained that their mechanics work on commission and are supposed to upsell the customer to make more of a profit. All but one of the items on their estimate has been replaced within the past 2 years. I installed them myself so I know the pets were new upon installation. After taking things apart to double check their diagnosis, I found that only my idler arm needed to be replaced. After I replaced it, I took it to a different mechanic for an alignment. $120 for an alignment and an easy part to replace costing less than $100. They said everything was fine and got it aligned. They also stated that Belle Tire told a customer that she needed a lot of work done that this other shop had just completed. She went to Belle Tire for new tires. This other shop told her to bring it back and they'd fix any errors. After removing the tires, they showed her that everything they said needed to be replaced was brand new and functioning properly. So, do NOT bring your vehicle to ANY of their locations!! read more

I had a very positive experience there getting 4 new tires. I called Thursday with a flat tire and they got me an appointment the following morning (a competitor couldn't get me in for over 2 weeks). The tire wasn't able to be safely repaired and I needed new tires. Nate patiently talked me through my choices and the pros and cons. I was on a time crunch and when they said "by 4pm worst case scenario" I said I'd probably have to cancel my evening appointment if they couldn't have it ready by 3pm. Nate told me not to cancel anything yet and he'd do his absolute best, and sure enough, he had it ready by 3pm. The pick up and check out process with Rick was quick and smooth. The only hiccup was that when I went to leave, I noticed the alerts weren't reset, but Nate remembered the car and that I was the one on a time crunch and they got it fixed very quickly, so I was able to keep our appointment. read more

My husband and I typically come here when we need work on our vehicles. We have never had a bad experience with Belle tire. Yesterday we brought my husbands car in to be looked at. We explained what it needed at drop off. When we picked the car up and went to drive away, we noticed that there were things we mentioned that hadn't been addressed. We went back into the store and spoke to some people. Paul spoke up and offered to look at the car once more, he was the only person willing to take a second look at what we had mentioned thinking was wrong with the vehicle. These people can't figure out what's wrong with a vehicle unless a computer tells them with codes. Says a lot about our times. I told them the issue, what symptoms to look for, what was broken, and how it was fixed in the past by a real garage. They called me 4 hours later and told me they fixed the vehicle by adding some coolant. There were no codes calling out a problem so they determined there was no problem. Insane! read more

After several horrible experiences with the dealer where I bought my car, I started taking it to the Rochester Hills Belle Tire facility five or six years ago. When the dealer was quoting me $600-$1500 to repair the shimmy in the front end of my PT cruiser with 10,000 miles on it, I took it to Belle Tire and for $92 I got a brand tire, which took care of the problem. While the dealer said that they checked it carefully and the front end/steering was shot and probably needed all new everything (at 10,000 miles), Belle Tire took one look and saw a huge bulge in the side of one front tire and told me that the belt is broken in the tire. So one tire later, the problem was fixed. This time, my dad convinced me to call the dealership where he has been friends with the owners for 30 some years. I did on Thursday, and they could not get me in until the next week. I called Belle Tire and they said bring it down. The dealer seemed to think it was going to cost several hundred dollars and a few days to figure out the problem. A few hours later, Belle Tire called me and told me that for $147 I could come pick up my car. It was a rather minor problem and was ready to go. I love these guys. I am handicapped and on oxygen, so sitting around for 2-6 hours is a problem for me, and the guys have always been extremely courteous and aware of the situation that I am in, even volunteering to drive me home if it was going to be a very long time rather than have me wait and potentially run out of oxygen in their waiting room. read more
