I just had a fast oil change 2 days ago and ironically, today my car wouldn't start. Ahmed immediately came to my house, diagnosed the battery was dead and gave me a jump. Within 1/2 hour oh my heart falling because I was going to be stuck he and the guys had a new battery installed. Now THAT is customer service!!! read more

Went in for an oil change, it was fast and went smoothly. They recommended some other things that will be needing my attention in the near future, but didn't force me to get anything immediate. They even had windshield wipers, so it saved me a trip to the auto parts store. Price was what it normally is in other locations, but customer service was outstanding! Highly recommend! read more

Great to have in the neighborhood! The service is always solid and they fixed my rear view mirror, saving me from going to the dealership.

Great group of people. They will take great care of your vehicle. You'll be happy you came here. I've been bringing my truck here for several years now and always leave happy and with a smile. Sal will take care of you and so will Jeff!! read more

Got an oil change and was in and out really quick, great customer service! Would definitely recommend this place for any auto needs.

I've been going here for years and years. The technicians are always nice and professional. It's a quick, easy, pleasant experience.

Called the day before to have them fix the motor in my window and two wheel bearings. Anywhere else you go they will tell you at least 2 days I dropped my car off at 10:00 AM and had it back by 4:30 PM. On top of that lowest cost of any place you will find! They are also extremely polite! These guys are dope! read more

These guys are the masters of the up sale. They will try to sell you everything you don't need pretty aggressively. Funny how a filter results in a $10 up charge because it's a 'special' filter. Then there is always another upcharge for more oil. Then try try to sell you every type of air filter, even though you don't need one. And then lie to you about how it must be done or certain cataclysmic events will occur. And when you refuse the up charges, they get nasty. I send my 17 year old there for an oil change because she was taking a road trip and badly needed fresh oil. I specifically told her, refuse all upcharges. He then tried to pressure her by refusing to do the oil change unless she agreed. She got me on the phone and the guy was plain lying to me. Avoid this place. Crooks. Update: I badly needed an oil change and had very few options, so decided to try them. I braced myself for a series of up-sales: when they started opening the air cleaner housing, I was prepared to tell them my air cleaner was only 4 months old when they tried the up-sale. To my surprise, they looked at it, then closed the housing. No up-sale effort. Then I braced myself for the hard oil upgrade up-sale (which I was going to use the better oil anyway). To my surprise, there was no effort to get me to spend more money on better oil. So I told him to go full synthetic. He seemed fine either way. Then he asked me how my wipers were. Ah ha! I thought now comes the hard up-sale. I tell him wipers are ok. He says ok, and moves on. Now, I was thinking of getting an engine oil flush. I ask how much that was. He shrugs his shoulders and says, '$20, but you don't need it.' I'm flabbergasted! Zero up-sale effort. Now, I had a bad experience here last year when my daughter went here by herself. Maybe I was overprotective, but I'm glad I tried them myself. But for my prior experience here, I would have given them 5 stars. I will try them again, and if I have the same experience again, I will upgrade to 5 stars. See, it's worth giving someone a second chance. read more

Just went today a little reluctantly because the guy who used to run it was kind of rude. The new owner Sal (as of November I think he said) is great and it's night and day from the guy that was there. Highly recommend. read more

I love these guys. They are honest and do great work! We moved but still drive back to use these guys when it time for and oil change or tire rotation. read more

I had been having trouble with my rear tires loosing air. A different business , allegedly fix the tires, removing a nail from each rear tire. Two days later low tires. Took my car to Belle tire . The service person told me i would have to leave my car for 2days. I went to Pleasant Ridge, and my tires were repaired in 30min. Still inflated too. Staff and new owner very friendly. read more

Place was a straight up scam. Printed out a coupon for a $19.95 oil change, and ended up being charged nearly DOUBLE that price!! (EXTRA charges Including a "special" $10 filter, when a standard one was already included in the $19.95) BAIT AND SWITCH BUSINESS read more

This place is great! Consistently fast and the staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Shout out to Mo who was able to diagnose a problem I had with service lights going on for no reason -- have seriously had dozens of mechanics from different places look at it over the years and no one could figure it out until now. THANKS MO!! read more

These guys are great. They provide quick and affordable oil changes, are super respectful, and show good attention to detail. I will definitely be going here from now on. read more

The guys were nice and honest with me. Hard to find as a young woman trying to get car services.

Never a long wait even when a wait exists. Friendly and have never pressed me to buy anything above what I ask for. Asked me if my vehicle was still under warranty because there was a leak starting Transmission fluid. I was able to get that fixed before my warranty ran out saving me who knows how much money. These guys are great and I will continue to see them read more

I'm very picky about my car care and found these guys to be incredibly professional, beyond helpful, and, though they did ask me for additional services, didn't push a hard sell. These guys took time to explain concerns and show me issues versus having me take their word. I'll be back! read more

Carlos is the best he had me in and out will come back for sure. Good cheap prices. Nice staff. I usually don't like to go to oil change places but this place to pressure just do their job and leave read more

5 stars!! I needed a quick oil change for my toyota. I came in, they didn't try to pressure me into buying fancy oil or getting unnecessary things. The staff was really friendly, and even put some free anti corrosive spray on my battery because I mentioned being worried about it. The whole process took about 12 minutes- it was perfect! They even check your tire pressure and fluids. Really liked this place. I'm new to the area, and this is the 3rd shop I went to to get my oil changed- the first two sucked. They wanted to overcharge me and scam me. So I didn't get it done there. Very happy I looked around. Sami took care of my car and did a great job! He'll be my go to from now on! I really wanted to leave a good review. I even went online to find the name because it wouldn't pop up on a quick tell search. Worth it! read more

I took my brand new Subaru Forester for its second oil change to Pleasant Ridge Oil Change. As I sat in my car and waited I noticed the mechanic banging on my car from underneath where the oil pan is located. After an exceptionally long time, the manager came to me to say the oil could not be removed through the oil port. Instead it had to be suctioned out. I was told the last place I had it changed had stripped the oil plug making it impossible to remove. Naively, I believed the manager, even though the previous oil change was done by an authorized Subarau dealer! When the oil needed changing the next time, I went to the dealer. The Subaru service manager informed me I had been scammed since this would never have been done by their trained technicians. After spending over $300 to have the oil pan replaced, I went back to Pleasant Ridge Oil Change to what the service mgr had said. Of course, they denied everything. But they were uncommonly knowledgeable of my situation and asked questions that indicated their obvious dishonesty. At that point I could not prove the damage they had done. The sad thing is that both the manager and the teenage mechanic lied openly. The manager set a very poor example for the teenager. read more

I've been coming here for years but never "audited" the services. I was sad to see that after paying attention, I was scammed. I was shown the price of the oil change at $59.99 and after asking for no additional services, walked away with a $78 bill including upgraded filter charges which I didn't agree to. The bill showed 3 separate line items for the same oil charge at different prices that did not add up to the $59.99 Full Synthetic I was quoted ($29.99, $27.99, $8.95). It also showed they did a 10 point inspection but I didn't see them look at any of the items they signed off on (windshield wipers, tire pressure, etc...) In fact, my GMC was telling me my tires were low and they signed off that the pressure was good. When I pulled away I checked my GMC app and it still showed the pressure was low. When I get home from work I'm going to check the oil gauge to see if it is even full, as now I don't even trust that they added all the oil I overpaid for. I hate that I feel cheated. How many other times did they do that when I wasn't looking? Not coming back! read more

Not good. Mike was a pain. He tried to tell me I had to put synthetic in my car. He also tried to tell me I put the "wrong" oil in my car. Never mind that he didn't ask why I had chosen to use the grade of oil that was in my engine. I had to demand he just put conventional oil in my car and stop the shenanigans or just close my hood so I could leave. It was very annoying. read more

I've had some bad experiences with oil changes, guys trying to sell me stuff I don't need or trying to make me feel stupid for not knowing much about cars. Now that I've found this place, I feel like I never have to worry about that again. The people here are so professional, they offer additional services but never press you for them, and have you out in no time. You don't even get out of your car, which is awesome. Best oil change place I've ever been to. read more

The guys here are awesome. They are so nice and will explain things to you and help you with any questions you might have. They also are always running specials for different services. It's pretty much everything that you would want out of an oil change place. Also, they are quick! It felt like it was done in no time at all! read more

Jay took care of me. Great service. Fast and smart. I'll be coming back here.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. The service is always fast and courteous. They never pressure you into getting stuff you don't need and will tell you if you can "wait until next time" for something. They even fixed my dented in bumper by popping it back out and didn't even charge me. I love these guys! read more

This place is great. Everyone is super helpful and nice. Not pushy at all like other car places. Fast too!

As a female, getting an oil change can feel a bit intimidating. I've always wondered if someone was trying to upsell me because I truly don't know any better, but not here! I can come get an oil change, and leave knowing I only purchased things that were truly necessary, and with quick and friendly service. Jay is super nice and helpful, and that's why I'll continue coming back. read more

friendly smiles, respect, and honesty. this place makes an oil change convenient in a professional manner and enjoyable. nothin but luv

Rip-off. This place will charge you for more oil than the known capacity of a particular motor. Scammers...

The mechanics were SMOKING CIGARETTES. The place reeked and it made my car stink. They couldn't even take a break from puffing the cancer sticks to service my car. The second star is for completing the job in under ten minutes. read more

I just came from this place which is now by the way a Valvoline station, it used to be a Pennzoil station. The sign outside said oil change for $19.99. When I asked the gentleman who was about my age and kept repeatedly addressing me as "young lady" (which made me extremely annoyed, especially around the 10th time he said it) why the price of my oil change is $29.99, he made up some garbage about how they used valvoline oil and that price was for the lower grade oil and that they hadnt changed there sign yet..hello I was at a VALVOLINE station! He then said he should have asked me more questions and he was sorry. Glad he was so sorry but he still overcharged me for my oil change, not even offering the ADVERTISED price. To "make ammends" he offered me a free wiper blade that I didnt need. Thanks for the blade, but I wont be back...Young man! read more
