This was fastest oil change I've ever had. It was completed less then 10min. I'm the only one customer but still I think it's very fast. They mentioned about my air filter which was old and dirty so let them replaced it. But they didn't say much anything else to sell something. They just get the job done fast. Other reviewers mentioned about they engage with customers and how friendly they are . However I didn't feel that they engage or try to be friendly with me but I appreciated the fast service especially I have lot of errands to make in a day. Nothing but positive experiences at Colonial Oil Exchange! I come here every time I need an oil change. Friendly, honest, reasonably priced.. and the service is speedy yet efficient. I love that they have never tried to up-sell or pressure me to buy anything extra. The last time I had my oil changed, the guy working on my car noticed one of my tire valves was missing a cap, so he put a new one on for me while he was filling my tires. I thought that was really nice! Never have gotten that kind of service at a oil shop before, most places would've ignored it. I stopped by to get an oil change and had a very nice experience. This was hands down the fastest oil change I've ever had. I was the only one there and I was in and out in 5 minutes...maybe even less. It was clean, they were very nice and the prices are reasonable. He even gave me some money off (I can't remember how much). Also, I loved the fact that they did not try to up sell me on other services. It's very annoying when places tell you you need other things done to your car and target women since they think they know nothing about cars. The only thing they offered me was a headlight, but it was because one of mine is currently blown. They have a car wash next door and you get a free wash with every oil change. If I am on that side of town, I will definitely be returning! read more

I brought my 37' motorhome to them for an oil change because it's 12'8" high and they're bay doors look taller than most. Unfortunately, my coach was about 3" too tall to drive in over their pit. But Tony and his crew still got under it, changed my oil, and lubed my front suspension. They were friendly, fast, reasonably priced, and did a great job. Thanks guys!!! read more

At first, the visit started off great. The attendants were polite. Seemed to be pretty informative. But when the oil change service they performed on my vehicle was complete, my car immediately had trouble starting. So we shut it off. Tried again and my car made a loud shuttering noise. And from that point forward my car continued to have issues starting. Sometimes taking me 3-4 tries every time. And my car was only, & barely, drivable for 3 days at most. Until one morning I went to start my vehicle and the engine was making an extremely loud noise. So, whatever they did or didn't do is the cause of what's wrong with my vehicle. my Car has been towed to a shop and awaiting the diagnosis. So it's sort of a stereotype - woman seeks help from automotive mechanic and gets taken advantage of. Not at Colonial Oil Exchange. I thought I needed an oil change because it had been so long, way past the date on the sticker. Because of the lock down, however, I hadn't been doing much driving. Imagine my surprise and delight when I was told that I didn't really need an oil change for another 1,000 miles! Since I was there,though, they checked my tires and added windshield wiper fluid free of charge. In these turbulent times, it is wonderful to know that integrity and caring still exist. I get impeccable service here! I never have to wait; I'm always in and out in less than 20 minutes. My records are stored for my vehicle so I can just say "same as last time" and not have to make any more decisions about what oil brand I put into my car. They always vacuum out my car for me, fill up my tires and top off my fluids. And it comes with a free car wash next door! Customer service here is really top notch! read more

The staff are phenomenal and very honest. I asked to have my tires rotated and windshield wipers replaced but was told they were fine. It takes incredible service for me to write a review, and this place delivers. It all begins with Tony, the manager. He sets the tone for their excellent staff. Not only is he great at what he does, but he's a genuinely kind and honest person. Colonial will never try to "sell" you on anything you don't need, and in fact go above and beyond to help. They fix little things at no cost, and advise you when you might want to get something looked at. I pass at least a dozen oil places on my way to Colonial, but it's always worth it. Stopped here this morning on our way out of town, to get a change in our new Acadia because our sensor was reading 2%, turns out new cars can go 6k miles before they need a change. These people are so honest that they informed us the oil is clean and our sensor just needed to be reset. They topped off all fluids at no charge, and gave us a reminder to come back. Faith in humanity restored. Will be coming back even though it's a little out of the way! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! These people ruined my car. My car was running fine and all it needed was an oil change, so I took my car for an oil change on a Sunday and my car was squealing and rattling on Monday. When I took it back I was told that there was oil all over the place and that there were metal shavings or fragments, and that my fan was loose. The guys also told me that my oil was a quart and a half low. They then sent me over to another auto shop. When I get to the other auto shop that they "work" with, the owner of Colonial Oil calls me and comes over to the auto shop to "look at my car." Immediately he tells me that they did nothing to damage my car. What I can't understand is that how does a serpentine belt just happen to slip off? I ended up having my car towed to my house and had a more reputable mechanic repair my car. WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!! I reported them to the Attorney General's office. NEVER AGAIN!!! If you want to save your car don't go here for an oil change. Their car wash place is excellent though. read more
