I have been going here for years, stopped in today to get air added to my one tire. I would normally do this myself, but is it 7 degrees out. The tech "pretended" to put air in. He didn't even remove the valve stem cover. I will never go back. read more

This is the only place I'll get an oil change. Really honest dudes work here and are straight to me when I need things done to my car. They don't push me when I decline things I don't want at the time. Their prices are super-reasonable, which is another plus. Last time I went a full-service oil change was around $20. They also have a punch card where you get a free oil change after 7 visits! You can't go wrong. read more

After getting home I double check my oil, it looked dirty for brand new oil and I had over a quart to much. I don't think they change the oil filter Oh well it's $10 cheaper across the street from them. read more

I went to Lube Cube faithfully for some time... then I noticed a change in staff, so I drifted to where my mom usually goes. But recently, I went back to Lube Cube to purchase windshield wipers and am making it a point to return as a loyal customer. The staff is friendly, honest and gets the job done. They are really in tune to the best interest of your vehicle -- will let you know what you need now and what you need on your next visit. In other words, they don't pressure you into getting services right then & there. The wait is never long, their hours are good and their prices are reasonable and fair, also. read more

This is the best place to get honest and fair vehicle service. The guys there are very friendly and really check everything out and if something needs attention they let you know without any sales pressure. They do quality work at reasonable prices. I don't even live in the Lincoln Park area, but I will only get my oil changed here. I drive a big SUV and I always get over charged for an oil change anywhere else. At Lube Cube they provide me with good prices and show me and explain what they are putting into my car. Also, the young worker there is very kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend! read more

This is the most subpar place I've ever encountered. They are quite deceptive. It is a nice facility with pleasant people, however incompetent. After having my vehicle serviced from this establishment, my power steering fluid EXPLODED all over the engine causing my car to smoke like crazy. In fear for my life and well-being, I took my car to the nearest auto shop to have it checked out. The Auto Shop informed me that instead of topping my car off with power-steering fluid, the idiots at THE LUBE CUBE did so with MOTOR OIL. The damage could have been irreparable, moreover my life could have been lost had I not noticed the smoke and reacted quickly. I'm a working college student and my car is my sole means of transportation, its care is vitally important to me. I USED to be a regular customer, this has been the only place I've had my car serviced for quite sometime because I believed that they did good work. I've recommended their work to tons of friends, family, and co-workers and my trust has been trashed. These are supposed to be professionals, yet they made such a careless and stupid move as such. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed. I pay good money, even give tips, only to have to turn around and pay to have my power steering repaired due to these idiots. My recommendation to all.... If your car breaks down right in front of the Lube Cube, don't even ask them to help you push it to the next available place. YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO TOUCH YOUR CAR. read more
