There was a couple cars ahead of me and the guy came out to my car just to let me know it will be a few minutes (it took less than ten minutes) before I he can get me in. Great place! Everyone is professional, quick and I can trust them to help with my car issues. I come get oil changes regularly and any time I need washer fluid, they help with that. They have tires and an auto repair side. Anytime I have a concern with my car, I come to them because they're nice, honest people. Oil changes, tires, auto repair, service light scanning are all things they've done for me-fast and affordable. Oh yea, I went to the dealership to have my car looked at because my check engine light came on, after paying $120 for them to tell me some bs reason I need to pay $700 to replace their malfunctioning part(not happening)-they did not reconnect the part they were looking at and had me drive home about to break down on the freeway. I came to my buddies at Quick Stop and asked them to look at it, they told me the part was disconnected-I think it's called the throttle body so I could barely accelerate. read more

Finding any sort of auto shop you can trust is tough. We live very close to this place and never gave them a shot until about a year ago. We've taken both of our vehicles there for regular maintainance and ended up very happy. One problem that they fix persisted but they've gone above and beyond to help figure out what else could be wrong. They've never charged us a dime for any of the extras which included them renting a machine they didn't have just to help with diagnostics. Went in for regular oil change on my truck, my 4th vehicle for service after coming here for 12 years. Upon closing my hood after oil change, it didn't latch, instead of looking to see what the issue was, the employee repeatedly continue to just SLAM my hood, which resulted in becoming damaged to the point it would not lock. I was told to go to junk yard and get a used one and come back they would put it on. Having to drive home with my hood not latched close, was a safety issue to me. I ended up asking my mechanic neighbor to look at it for me, come to find out it the lock was damaged and bent due to the continual slamming. I contacted the owner who was talking in the background, now refusing and saying it's not his responsibility. Welp you just lost my future business!!!!!! read more

I use to come here all the time evert tire I got was from here going on 5 years now. Use to be great service and great prices. There is now a whole new team there. I took my car in to get my two front tires replaced I'm not missing a hub cap and a lung nut on one of my tires was broken off. When I asked what happened his response was my hub was already missing and as for the lung nut he says it was already broken. Before I even brought my car up I attempted to take the lungs off to just take the tire up there get the tire and change it myself but ALL my lung nuts were to tight for me to move. Such a bummer. I went in and before I knew it 2 different guys were ripping the filters out and practically demanding that I replace them. It was a hard pressure sale and I wasn't comfortable arguing being locked in a glass bubble with 4 technicians probing my car. What should've been a $20-$30 oil change cost me $110. The receipt is undecipherable so I don't even know what I was charged for. Would NOT recommend this shop to anyone. Very intimidating environment. Also, I understand that the previous owner was wonderful bust sold in September. These are new owners. read more

It's refreshing to know there are decent people around when you need help. The owner of Quick Stop Oil Change in Redford drove to my house, picked up me and my bent rim and flat tire (because my spare is now ruined by a pothole), fixed the rim and replaced my tire at the world's most ridiculously low price because I told him I'm unemployed and have an interview this week. Then he drove me back to my house to get my car and drove behind me back to his shop so that he could fix my spare and put on the new tire. This place should be 0 stars; I am in awe, of the comments here for this ONE STOP SHOP location. I called the Friday before, wanting to come in for some work done. I was given an exceptional price, considering I was not feeling up to doing the job myself. I was told to come 08:00 I was there 5 min before, after 45 min wait the mechanic ask me "if I'm going to leave it"; so, I ask a simple question, "why can't I come back when you ready"? Especially, if he has 5 cars ahead of me; he tells me if I don't like it I can get the f-ck on. I started to pull off when I decided to go in and ask for a manager. He starts hollering at me, talking about "there is no manager here get the fuck on" I kept trying to talk to him, asking why have such an attitude, but at some point of his continued disrespect, I started to loose my cool, after he says get the fuck out of here n-gga. No matter how good the price was, there is no way, I would pay for ignorance; guess it doesn't matter considering and I QUOTE "I don't need your f-cking business", and they never will! Since I been back to the U.S. the level of disrespect and disregard for people is appalling! Anyway, I went right down the street, and was pulled right into bay; I would pay more any day for all around good service! read more
