They left my side plate off, likely because it wasn't fastened correctly after the oil change, and it ended up dragging on the road until I lost it completely. On top of that, oil was spilled all under my hood, and when the technician attempted to show me my oil level, he just waved the dipstick around without explaining or showing anything clearly. It was sloppy and careless work from start to finish. When I called to report the issue, the response was completely nonchalant. The manager said he would send me a coupon for the inconvenience that could be used at any Valvoline, but he never followed through. I stop at Valvoline often, but I will never return to this location. The lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-through was extremely disappointing.

I then went back to my car to look up places near where I was. Big Ray's had really good reviews. So, I decided to go there, even though it wasn't really near where I was. I asked how much an oil change cost, as they didn't have prices posted. I was given quite a range. I chose a higher level oil change with better oil that will last. At $79, it is expensive, but it's supposed to last about a year, so really, it's not bad. In addition, Phillip was very friendly and helpful. And I appreciated that it only took about 15 minutes, as opposed to the 45 minutes - forever that I've waited at the dealership.

So I went to Monro in Northville. Over the last months with the frigid temps, my "tire inflation" warning lights came on twice. I took the vehicle to Monro and they cheerfully checked my air and told me how the cold temps deflate tire air pressure. Today, I took the vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation.
