I tried to negociate the price on a limonge china box with her, instead of working with me on pricing, she suggested that I couldn't afford it. I was instantly offended and decided to leave. She then insinuated that I may have stolen the piece in front of me, my husband and my daughter. I went in today to look at slab samples. The young lady in the front showed me where to go. I was…read morelooking in particular for Dekton, she said they don't have it. But then I started looking and I saw they had Consentino, so I stared looking and noticed the racks are labeled. I found it myself. As I looked through the racks, some of the slab samples were mixed up. There was one piece that looked like the sample of Dekton I was looking for. It only has a QR code on back. Which took me to a google drive picture with no info on it. So I took it downstairs to ask what company the slab is. That way I could see more info on it. The young lady in the front went to ask another girl working there. She very loudly and quite rudely replied we cannot give out our vendors/suppliers. I was a little taken aback. I explained to her that is not what I was asking for. The slab was mixed in with the Dekton rack and I wanted to know if it was Dekton or if it's Porcelain. The only reason I was asking so I could see the specs because I needed to know the material and available sizes which I would be able to find on the actual companies sites. Not the vendor who had no information on it! She was rude and very abrasive when I was trying to explain what I had asked. I honestly felt like she felt entitled to speak to me that way because of my skin color. I just walked out and they knew I was upset because I voiced that I felt that was a very rude way to answer someone. I need to get 5 slabs for an outdoor fire-pit area, they just lost the chance to make a big sale. I would not buy anything from here. There are better places with better service in the South Bay. I would not give them my business. Especially if they treat potential clients this way. You are a business. Customers ask questions. This is not the way to respond to someone inquiring about a product.

I hate to leave this review for a STORE (which I'm leaving on every store page, and then also…read morereporting as a complaint to the BBB), but the online platform and customer service has been particularly negative. We ordered a set of outdoor furniture to be delivered July 19th and chose a set specifically for the in-stock status as we need it for an event on the 25th. Today is that day. They are now saying it won't be ready until the 28th. When I reached out to customer service, they stated that there was one item (a rug) that was not in stock yet, so they'd be holding the WHOLE order until then to avoid a double-delivery, or, if we wanted, WE could eat a second delivery fee, which is insane to expect of us. I requested that they delivery everything ready to us by the 24th, and they refused as its "our policy." So, to clarify, their "policy" is that if we provide you a delivery date that is inaccurate, we expect you to just deal with the consequences of a delay; therefore, when ordered from Crate & Barrel, you essentially cannot ever plan around a delivery date--not even within a week of that date, since we are being pushed 9 days out. So, be sure when using this company, you either a) plan nothing for a long period of time afterward that depends on that order's delivery, or b) do what we will be doing and use Wayfair or Pottery Barn (which is where we'll go from now on) because when things like this happen, they help facilitate solutions, not resolve it with "sorry, it's our policy."
