When contacted, they said "ship it back to us unused" but never provided a return address or shipping label. They then refused to issue a refund, and accused us of trying to get a costume for free. They threatened to and followed thru on their promise of never allowing our negative reviews on Amazon. So, they continued to fleece other customers. I lodged a complaint with the NY AG's office and FTC but nothing was done.

Rubies costumes took my money in May and didn't ship my item. Do not buy with Rubies if you want…read moreyour costume by Halloween (or at all). I placed an order on May 29, I emailed Rubies for weeks and weeks, and in August, I finally copied their executive team on a email and filed a complaint with the BBB seeking shipment. In retaliation they cancelled my order and lied stating none of this happened. So I am sharing my experience now. Rubies Costumes is also known as Costumes.com and costumesupercenter.com They advertise same day and next day shipping for items that they actually do not have in stock or plan to sell, but they take consumer funds for it and hold the money for months. I purchased a costume in MAY. It is AUGUST and they still have not shipped the item. When I reached out in June, they said "system upgrades preventing shipping"....and that it would ship in the next week. It didn't ship. I followed up again and was told the same thing--system upgrades. It had been 5 weeks at that point. I followed up again and was told the same thing. So I left a review on their site and they deleted it (violating the CRFA) and emailed me telling me that I could cancel if I couldn't wait and INDEFINITE amount of time and they refused to tell me why now the item was not shipped since they were now advertising the costume with next day shipping but not sending mine. I asked them to clarify how a system upgrade could possibly affect shipping FOR MONTHS and also asked why they were advertising the same costume as SAME DAY SHIPPING on their site if their "system upgrade' was still 'affecting shipping'. They ignored me. I followed up again They ignored me. I followed up again. They ignored me. I followed up again. They ignored me. It's August. They took my money in MAY. They never shipped the costume, but they are taking people's money for costumes they don't have in stock. This is a pattern for this company. After researching consumer complaints, this is what they do to consumers. This is fraud, this is a violation of advertising laws. This is clear cut deceptive practices. They are still advertising the costume with next day shipping as I write this complaint. Today, I finally filed a complaint and contacted their corporate offices and instead of apologizing and shipping the order, they cancelled it and called me a liar. I have all the proof, but they don't care about customers or customer service.

Even though I didn't see any I liked, Mr. Bo patiently for me to select the ones I liked from a catalog. He ordered 3 samples, waited for me to return and select the frame I wanted. And then he framed them w an anti glare glass option. Yes, Michael's is down the road-- and they were easily double or triple the price without the selection of frames, attention to details and artisanship. We texted throughout the whole process- when to come in to pick up the samples, bring them home to consider the options, bring them back and decide on those to frame. His service, kind demeanor and superb quality makes me beyond enthused to recommend IPCC to everyone who needs anything framed at all. Lowest price, highest attention to detail and outstanding service. I'm so glad I followed my word of mouth friend's advice and got my diplomas framed here!!!

This store is filled to the brim with gorgeous South Asian jewelry, garments, Islamic home decor,…read moreaccessories, among other pretty items. I would definitely recommend buying from this store because the stuff here is absolutely stunning and I've bought from here multiple times (the earrings especially always make my Eid outfits look spectacular). Also, there is a downstairs addition where you can find more South Asian dresses and prayer mats. Once you buy your jewelry and clothes, you can move outside to peruse more bangle bracelets, casual South Asian attire, hijabs, and even toys if you want to gift your kids or family/friends' kids something that'll make their eyes light up. Although, the reason why I gave this store 4 stars out of 5 is that the interior has an extremely narrow hallway. If it's a busy day (like a few days before Eid), you're most likely going to bump into a bunch of people or get stuck in a rotation. There was one time another customer entered the store with a STROLLER and it took up the entire aisle! I definitely suggest not bringing strollers or luggage inside, unless you want to get squished and accidentally make the jewelry fall off the racks (speaking from experience ).

I was told they would be ready on a Wednesday. I paid for the tee-shirts in full and I requested to leave my name and phone number which I was asked to write on the back of a sheet of printer paper. On Wednesday I called to make sure the shirts were ready, they were NOT! When I asked why I wasn't called to let me know why my order (that was paid in full )was not ready I got nothing. I was giving a bunch of excesses. I asked to be compensated for my time and I was given the run around. When I called on Thursday, to make sure my shirts were ready, I was once again given an attitude. After a brief argument, the employee stated that I had two choices to either refund my entire order $200.00 or I take a 40.00 gift card to their store. I had asked for a refund for one shirt to compensate my time. When I went to pick up the shirts the manager was no where to be found. I was not given the gift card or even an apology.
