I'm a sushi lover so finding Fusian was a treat! They're not far from my gym and had caught my eye a few time before I stopped by. The restaurant was super clean and I was greeted when I walked in. It's kinda setup Chipotle style where you can see them build your order and view all the options. I got two different rolls and some cucumber salad, it was all delish! The rolls were so big I couldn't finish it all at once. Excited to go back and try more things!

We came by since it was close to the university campus. Not bad for a quick meal, but a little pricey and definitely not authentic. The roll texture was pretty tough and chewy- felt maybe a bit stale? The service was friendly and quick though, and the space was comfortable with lots of seating.

We ordered this by Grubhub and the online selection process made ordering vegan rolls, salads or bowls a breeze.

Went to Fusian because I had a craving for California rolls and other places were closed. Either Fusian or what was left at Market District. Ordered California rolls with the peanut sauce topping and shrimp tempura. California rolls with the peanut sauce was pretty good but the price was a bit hefty for ten pieces. The shrimp tempura (under all the greens) looked good with a nice tempura crust. But the shrimp was just a slight sliver of shrimp meat under all that tempura crust. Could barely find the shrimp after each bite. Had to wait for my pickup order since there were several meal delivery service orders ahead of me. Instead of helping prep bags for pickup orders, the cashier was too busy texting on her cell phone at work. Nice. Just too pricey for the food.

FUSIAN is my go to for a quick bite to eat! So many choices and so glad the brown rice is back!

I have really enjoyed Fusian in the past, and this is my first time getting a bowl instead of a roll! My bowl was like 50% rice and 20% carrot, and didn't get much fish (or avocado, despite paying extra). I also don't think the fish tasted particularly fresh in comparison to what I've had from Fusian before. Anyhow, for the price of the bowl and based on the value you get from it, you might as well skip it. You probably get more fish in one of the rolls for less $$. Random side note, the cucumber being cut into long matchsticks doesn't work for the bowls and they should probably be cut smaller for bowls than for the rolls. It's a bit tough to shove long pieces of cucumber into your mouth!

I ordered my meal through Uber delivery. My order was spot on! But it was smaller than the portion you would get if you went into fusion. High quality ingredients for a high price point as well. LOVE their sauces and the fact that you can buy them on Uber delivery! I will definitely be going back.

Lunch time! I've haven't eaten here in quite some time so when I say it as I passed by, I thought I'd give it a whirl again. I tried the new Coconut Curry Bowl with a California Roll. While the bowl was tasty, I didn't eat most of it because it was mostly rice. For the money, I'm not sure this is a good value. I'd expect them to be a little more generous with the toppings next time. Overall the taste was good. I just can't say it was a good value.

the sushi never disappoints, from california roll basics to exotic self-made sushi! Staff is always friendly & quick. i usually dine out, but the few times i've dined in i've enjoyed a clean, peaceful experience.

I'm a big fan of go through the line, build your own sushi places so I was excited to try Fusian. It's a simple concept, and aside from sushi they offer rice bowls and salads. I tried the spicy salmon roll and a chicken bowl. The sushi was decent, but I was more impressed with the chicken bowl. It comes with a base of rice (white or brown), cucumbers, bell peppers, carrots, and some yummy sauces. Honestly it tasted fantastic, and it seemed to be pretty high quality ingredients. However, I was a little bummed about the price, as it seemed a bit on the higher end for such a casual restaurant.

I didn't know what to expect when I walked into Fusian. It's basically fast food sushi and I think I'm in love. Lol You can order from their menu of rolls, bowls or salads. You also have the option to create your own. Since it was my first time I decided to play it safe. I ordered the crispy shrimp roll, chicken and rice bowl and spicy endamame. Everything except the endamame are made right in front of you as you go down the line. The ingredients look fresh and everyone has gloves on. They have about 4 or 5 varieties of fountain lemonade. I mixed the pineapple with the lavender and it was great. I couldn't wait to get back to my hotel to dig in. I was not disappointed! Everything was flavorful. The only downside was the spicy endamame. It wasn't spicy at all. However, the sauce they put on it was tasty.

For me, Fusian is the perfect place to go when you want a healthy, veggie packed quick meal. I never feel overly full after eating one roll. Sometimes I still feel a little hungry after which is probably a personal issue with eating too much at other restaurants :'-) I often will choose fusian for a workday lunch where I don't want to feel overly full when I get back to work. I like that you can pack in as many different veggies as you want in the sushi roll. I usually always get the tempura shrimp as my protein. I think the price is just ok for what you get. I understand the ingredients are costly for what they make, but it's a little pricier than I like to spend on a fast casual meal. But like I said it's understandable because you're getting a variety of veggies and seafood is going to cost a little more. Service is always friendly and fast. Nice interior of the restaurant with plenty of space to eat inside.

The edamame stood out because they generous with the flaky salt, which I personally loved. Sometimes places hold back, but this was well seasoned. 3. Customer Service (2.5/5) This is where things started to fall apart a bit. I stood at the front for about 12 minutes before being acknowledged, and the restaurant was nearly empty. I had to make eye contact with someone in the kitchen just to be seated. Service at the table wasn't much better. It took about 15 minutes just to get my drink order taken (which I had to flag the waitress down to order), and by that time I was ready to order my whole meal. I ordered an appetizer along with a couple of sushi rolls and some sake. I'm not sure if the waitress wasn't thinking about it, but she brought my rolls out before she even brought out my appetizer or my drink. The inconsistency was noticeable and took away from the experience. 4. Overall Taste (4.5/5) The food absolutely carried! I ordered a sweet potato roll and the Hoonie Roll, which ended up being my favorite part of the meal. Both were fresh, flavorful, and really well-balanced. Paired with the edamame and sake, everything came together nicely. 5. Overall Experience (3.9/5 ) Taking everything into account, the experience lands just under a 4. The food and atmosphere were strong, but the service created a noticeable disconnect. It's definitely one of those places where you'd go back for the food, but you'd hope the service catches up next time.

We were there around noon on a Sunday so they were not very busy but that was okay with us. I had made a Resy reservation because they recommended it. The interior is decorated very well and the light is slightly dimmed for a nice ambiance! They have really nice, and solid, dinnerware and glassware. We started with the crab rangoon tarts, 3 in an order, and the edamame. The tart shells were so buttery and the filling was the usual luscious crab mix. The edamame comes with salt or spicy, we chose salt. There was enough for all 3 of us. The drinks we chose were the Gin & Tea and the Lychee Martini. Both were delicious and the foam on both were handshaken and so creamy. The Gin & Tea was a surprise winner and I highly recommend it. We ordered 5 rolls. The Naruto, Center, Fantastic, Tiger and Dancing Salmon. I love Naruto rolls without the rice and nori, instead wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber. This one was well made and stayed together when using my chopsticks. It allows the fish to shine! The Center Roll had spicy tuna and a topping of avocado, masago and spicy mayo. It's what you would expect and well done. The Tiger Roll has a mix inside and on top. Each bite was a little different and delicious. The Fantastic Roll was just that! It had a lobster salad inside and slightly scorched Japanese scallops on top. The smokiness of the scallop was surprising and delicate and complemented the sweeter lobster salad. The Dancing Salmon roll had eel inside and salmon outside. I'm not a huge eel fan but this roll I ate and enjoyed. I hadn't had good restaurant sushi since NYC and this was up there with it. And after that soft opening with a regular menu, this week they introduced an all-you-can-eat menu as well. So of course I got there as soon as I could. Quite an extensive menu for AYCE too, though not as big as their standard one. And full of interesting stuff. Nigiri, raw rolls, cooked rolls, deep-fried rolls, specialty rolls, apps, ramen, hibachi, and more. I wanted to try everything, but even though I arrived hungry I just couldn't. Maybe 25 years ago I could have eaten twice as much, and when the students hear about this they will clean them out. It's just down from where Japanese Oriental Restaurant used to be, and I used to save up and pig out there with my friends. Now I eat a bit less, but I still figure I had about $60 worth of sushi for $30. I started with seaweed salad- big portion, and very tasty. Fresh and a little spicy. Then unagi- two big pieces, excellent, tender and flavorful. Then maguro- good, melt in your mouth. Next I tried their "dragon eggs"- deep fried avocado with kani and tuna. OMG. Again, a big portion (two whole avocados, halved and stuffed. Finally, two big rolls: the High Street roll with spicy tuna, and the Seashore roll with salmon, kani, and more. Wow. Big, and tasty. Best sushi in town? No, but up there. Really good. Service was great. They open at noon, at least on weekdays, and I was the first one in. The decor is cool- it's an old house, and they have made it modern but with vintage touches. The bathrooms and waiting area are super cool. Atmosphere was modern and soothing. You can get ramen, cooked dishes like tempura, salads, all kinds of things. There's a full bar as well, and areas with cozy or romantic seating. The design was actually pretty cool, you could eat with a group or sit up at a bar by yourself and feel very comfortable either way. The sushi menu itself includes more traditional Japanese sushi, which honestly is what I'd recommend from the AYCE menu. They even have sashimi, which is cut thinly- which is fine, if you want more you can just order more, that prevents excessive waste. Most AYCE places wouldn't offer sashimi anyway. But the traditional sushi, sashimi and rolls were the ones we liked best. The more Americanized rolls with the alternative (non-nori) wraps were not as delicious, in our opinion. We couldn't figure out what it was, whether it was the wraps or an ingredient in the chopped sushi roll fillings. But there's a ton on this menu that was good. Will eat here again. Oh and a short note on large groups- maybe this is not the spot to go with a massive group? It's more of an intimate dining experience, although they do seem to allow big groups. I only mention this because I saw a negative review about slow service for large groups before we went and then the evening we went a group of maybe 10-12 college students impatiently waited by the door to be seated, even though the servers were polite and had to wait for multiple tables to clear at the same time to push together seat such a large group in a smallish restaurant- the patrons kept coming in and trying to sit at random tables before it was their turn. If you have a massive group I'd say split into multiple tables or maybe choose a different, larger or chain restaurant, like El Vaquero or Buffalo Wild Wings? Anyway I hope they left a good tip because the workers were very professional and the group was very large and very impatient.
