Just had my panel upgraded for single family home in SSF and I am very pleased with the service from Fuse. The technicians have been friendly and answered all my questions. The work was done relatively fast and they have been very accommodating to my schedule. They even made some cost-saving suggestions that make me want to work with them more. They handled the permit process with PG&E which made the process so much easier. Estimated cost for it was around $5800 for our two story single family home. It ended up being about the same price as other electricians we called but they included the permit process where as other places we called did not but charged the same price. We had a problem with a circuit tripping after a leaky roof during the big rainstorms. I called on a Wednesday, and Mikhail was able to come to the house that day. He was unable to locate the problem in the time allotted for that appointment, but said that the problem might solve itself when the water dried up, and if not, he would come over for a longer, trouble shooting appointment. The problem persisted, so I called the next day; Mikhail again came on the same day I called and spent 4 hours on the problem. We have old wiring in the house, but he was able to fix the problem, and said to call him if anything further arose. He was thorough and very polite and accommodating. read more

Fuse responded immediately to our evening inquiry for an electrician to come first thing the next morning. The bedroom arc fault circuit breaker tripped and could not be reset. Edited: added one star back. I coincidentally the photo mentioned in #4 below about 30 min - 1 hour after posting this. My home is a new construction and 2 years old but the heat and AC suddenly stopped working. The HVAC system would turn on but no air would come out of the vents. I sent one of those generic requests via Yelp that blasts out to several contractors. Fuse was very prompt and had immediate availability so I decided to go with them. Diagnostic Appointment - Max was my technician and he showed up in the time window and put on booties for protecting the shoes. Everything was done in ~45 minutes and he said the blower motor needs replacing. He was generally pretty professional. He said he took some photos of the unit (serial number, model number, etc.) and sent them to his boss to get a warranty claim started. I waited a couple days before following up and they said I need the original technician license number and information and would take 30 to 60 days. I didn't want to wait 30-60 days and the original installer claimed my unit was out of warranty so I decided to get pay full price and get it fixed out of warranty. Repair Appointment - Max was my technician again and showed up on time. Everything seemed to be going well but this is where I'm docking a couple stars. (1) Once Max finished the job he asked me how many technicians came after his original diagnostic. I didn't really understand his question at first but then realized he was asking if I had other people diagnose the issue. I told him no one else has come to take a look except for him. He then said that I was LYING and told me to tell him the truth. Wth? This really bugged me and still bugs me right now which is why I'm writing this review. He claims he can tell someone else was up in my crawl space because the "wires had changed positions". uhhh...maybe you changed the wires after your diagnostics Max? No idea honestly but I'm also not sure why it matters if I did hire someone or not as it's my right to do whatever I want with my home. (2) After finishing the repair Max didn't check if everything was functioning...? I went ahead and started turning on my 2 thermostats to heat and then cool to make sure they were functioning. Max did wait for me to validate everything before taking payment and leaving but I'm sure he would've left without validating if I had paid first. At the end of the day everything seems to be fixed, which is great but I imagine that validating the fix is an important part of a repair job. (3) His ladder knicked our walls in a couple places. Nbd since I just painted right over it but obviously would have preferred to not have to do that (4) Photos (or lack thereof) - I asked Max if he could send me photos of the hvac unit i.e. model number, serial number etc. so I have the information for the future. He said he'd send it to me in the invoice but when I received the invoice email there were no photos. I asked for it again via text twice and still haven't received them. I can climb up to my attic to grab it myself but it irks me a bit that he's gone silent once the job is done. Scheduling: - 5 stars for scheduling. Super easy and quick to schedule both the initial diagnostic as well as the repair appointment Communication: - Responsive with the initial setup and diagnostic appointments - Not helpful when trying to get information about warranty - Not helpful when asking for a photo of the model number and serial number for my unit which Max claimed to have taken photos of so not sure why he won't send them over Pricing: - No idea since I didn't have the time to cross shop read more

Arthur and the team were great! He discussed the project and how long each part of would take, and got my input for where to install the 2nd thermostat. It was a big project: replacing the furnace with a new high-efficiency unit and replacing all the old, sagging flexible ductwork with rigid ductwork for better efficiency for the main floor, plus installing dampers to separate the main and upper stories into different heating zones. Additionally, they ran a new duct to get heat into the entry stairway, which had always stayed cold before. When the furnace and ducts were all in place, Arthur walked through the house with me to make sure the airflow was the way we wanted it and to ensure that the new zones worked appropriately. They also cleaned up everything very nicely and took away the old furnace and ductwork. Very nice and professional! Definitely recommend them. read more

I really appreciated Stan's work in installing an outlet for an electrical stove. When he came out for the initial visit, he explained in detail what needed to be done. When he returned for the work, he was understanding of our situation with an infant; he delayed noisy work until the wife and baby were awake. In addition, he wore a mask when requested and covered his shoes when walking inside. Finally, he returned when our stove delivery was delayed to complete the job.
