Our chair broke a week after buying it and they have a standard one year warranty. They don't have any parts for the chair at all so they simply offered a discount. We took it and made the repair ourselves the best we could.

I was offered the "goof proof" warranty and I specifically said, if it's Guardian...then no. I recapped my horrible time with them from Ashley's. She said, not ours ! so I took it.....$99. My fault I guess, I did ask for proof, silly me. i love my chair does what I need, but after 18 months my remote broke. Since the case cracked it was considered an accident so it was covered by goof proof. BUT after 22 emails and 8 pictures, I video call, I was told their service department needed to order a part. Someone suggested I look on EBay or Amazon and BINGO, I got the part in one day for $79 From Amazon. I wrote one last email to Guardian, and I told them to cancel their so called search and this should not go towards the one repair per item rule, since I did the work. I do not recommend Bobs because they were not any help to me, the customer, and please stay away from their "goof proof" guarantee. Buying a chair should not be that much work.

I know from shopping at Milaegers for year that they can really get busy and sometimes it takes a while to have your call answered. No big deal and I was able to find what I was looking for elsewhere. Today, 10/30/25, I received a call from one of the managers at Milaegers stating that she had noticed that I had called their store and that my call had gone unanswered. She asked what I was looking for and did I still need to find what I needed. I explained that I had found what I wanted and thanked her for her call. She did not need to call me, but she though enough about their customers that she took the time to follow up on and unanswered call. This is what I call real service and is just another reason I enjoy shopping at Milaegers.

Eric Lewis helped me over the phone on multiple calls, he was kind, patient, attentive and knowledgeable, he arranged for 'white glove' shipping to Honolulu and it arrived exactly on time. Delivery was seamless and I love the quality of my Danish table. I thought contacting Hansen Interiors was a long shot from Honolulu, it ended up being a home run. I was able to get a specific table through them that I couldn't find anywhere else in the US, which was fantastic. However, the main issue was with the delivery coordination. They provided incorrect dates and listed the wrong phone number for the shipping carrier, CEVA Logistics. Because CEVA called the wrong number, they silently put the delivery on hold. Meanwhile, the Hansen website indicated CEVA had the item and was about to deliver it, leading me to get rid of my old table in anticipation. I ended up stuck without a table for about a week because CEVA was too busy to quickly reschedule, and Hansen had no leverage over CEVA, leaving them unable to help expedite the process. On top of that, the heavy price tag doesn't include white-glove assembly. It arrived in a massive, extremely heavy box that required me to uncrate and assemble it myself (or hire someone to build it for you). Overall, despite the delivery ordeal, the 5-month wait, and the DIY setup, I'm glad I finally got the table. It's a beautiful piece that I've been hunting down for a long time.
