Generally had dood experiences with Roesing Furniture. Have purchased many items. Prices are…read morefair. Recently purchased a Med-Lift chair for an upcoming total hip replacement surgery. I purchased the chair and had it delivered 2 weeks before my surgery. In the first week the main seat cushion failed. You could no longer sit in or use the chair. We called Roesing and they came and took pictures and said they would have to order a new cushion. I had my surgery, no chair. Six weeks later, I have fully recovered from hip replacement and no chair. I went to the atore and they had no clue about my chair, but did find the new cushion that they claim just came in. I explained that the reason I purchased the chair was for recovery, they thought that was funny and congradulated me on my recovery without the extremely expensive chair I had purchased for the event. I,would NEVER buy a Med-Lift product again and probably will no longer purchse from Roesing. Thought they were a good local option, but their service is no better and maybe worse than the big block stores.

I would like to update my review. I did have the sofa redone at your shop. We discussed ad nauseam…read morethat it would be a comfortable soft sofa and that the velvet would not attract as much dust and lint as it does. You said it was specifically a better product. I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.

There's a clearance area off to the side that sells floor models and returns at good discounts. We were looking for some lounge-y chairs and there were options aplenty. Helping us was very knowledgeable Barb who was never intrusive and let us look around. After making the rounds, we kept coming back to one specific chair - Barb let us know they had 2 in stock from a cancelled order (most things are made to order) in our preferred color, plus they were included in their anniversary sale. SOLD!! I work on the commercial furniture side and felt that the quality here was oberall very high and the prices, for what you get, are pretty fair. It's not IKEA prices to be fair but it's also not made in China crap that will fall apart and bottom out in a few months. You'll love it if: you appreciate mid century or modern design, want a high level of quality, want to customize items. You won't like it if: you need cupholders in your furniture.

Still the same people running the place and working there, and they're always so kind! They still have lots of parking (street and a lot next door), a big space that they filled, and lots of vendors to spend your money on. Always a must stop when you see it open since it's always changing and always has great deals! Oh and they have Amish butter and a variety of Honey butter which is always a good find!

Tons of items in great shape and beautifully displayed make it so easy to shop. I was in a couple of weeks ago and the summer decor was so cute. Today they were creating a pretty display of items in warm fall colors. The prices are super reasonable which I find so refreshing. There is no price gouging here! The staff is incredibly hospitable. I love chatting with them about all kinds of things. I always leave with a smile because of the sweet lady at the cash register. I will definitely stop in again the next time I'm in town.

He is a liar and thief who uses your company to scam and convince people to let him live there rent free and bring your furniture to their properties! To gain their trust! He had occupied my condo with your furniture, then left my condo damaged! I actually allowed him to buy a "house for his family" without credit as a favor and he used my kindness to financially abuse me and my own new business income! Instead of kindly telling me he couldn't pay before I traveled so I could have my rental ad up for my OWN marketing! We are now at a risk of losing $5500 because he cannot MAKE honest decisions! Based on this type of lying and behavior for your employees, I give you a ONE STAR for quality of talent and how they use their "employment" to secure rental properties then deplete the owner's finances! I will ONLY remove this post once he has paid me the FULL amount of missing income he stole from me! If this is the kind of business you operate, a family of thieves shame on you!

My real estate agent's firm highly recommended Phoenix Rising Home Staging for luxury condo units…read more So, I requested this company and another to come out and sell me their ideas/terms/prices. Both companies work with ultra-high end real estate, and have designers on hand to attractively style the home with furnishings. I was particularly partial to Phoenix because of Hannah. While the prices of both companies were comparable, the contractual terms were less favorable with Phoenix; however, I really liked Hannah. She has an art background, and does design for a living. She was impressed by the art in my unit, and knew a good deal about quite a number of them (impressive!). I had to commit to 5months of rent for Phoenix's furniture, at about $2200/month, even knowing my unit would sell in a month or so. 2 of the 3 bedrooms were staged, along with the public rooms. The alternative high-end staging company had a one month commitment of $5K, with each subsequent month being prorated by day (@ $2K/month). This alternative company didn't have Hannah, though, and her design eye. I took the bite and committed to Phoenix knowing my gorgeous unit would sell in a month (it did!), and I am glad I did. Thank you Phoenix Rising, and Hannah!
