We were the only ones in the store which was super nice as we didn't need to worry about trying to look at everything while trying to move out of the way for other people. There's so much to look at that I could have spent at least an hour in here covering every square inch of the place looking at all the wonderful goodies like candles, signs, cards, apparel, lotions, etc. Although, I wanted many items from here, I kept my purchase to a reasonable limit. I treated myself to the exclusively To and From Gift Shop perfume oil roller. It smells SO GOOD. Honestly, I wish I would have bought 2 as I'm from out of town (6 hours away!). The owner was kind and engaged in conversation with us. Awesome store. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

From cute and whimsical to fun and naughty, there is always something for everyone. The have mostly new, but they also have a few vintage items too. The look and feel of the shop is the best. I don't know where to look first. I usually make a few trips around to make sure I don't miss anything. There are just soooo many things to see. If I am looking for a gift for someone - anyone, I shop here. They have men's, women's, children, baby, home decor, accessories, coffee & tea items, greeting cards, gift wrap and the list goes on. The staff that I meet on each visit could not be any nicer. On my last visit, I decided to go back the next day to get something I was still thinking about and the guy remembered me. I like that. I always feel welcomed and appreciated.

I didn't look around much, we went out to sit on the patio. We ordered the lemonade and blueberry lavender lemonade. Both were really refreshing and I really liked the blueberry flavor in mine. We had the turkey club and the smash burger for our lunches. The turkey club was big, plenty of food for one person. The flavors melded together and when paired with a fruit cup it was amazing. The smash burger was well seasoned, cooked well, and picture perfect. Seriously, usually when you get these things you get sad, wilty lettuce and a small slice of tomato. Not here, the lettuce was vibrant and you could see and taste the tomato. The server we had was super attentive, the food was out surprisingly quickly, and the ambience was perfect for a Sunday afternoon lunch. The price was my favorite part, totally affordable for anyone. Two meals and two drinks less than $40 is a win for me. All in, a solid stop and we will be back. The only reason I didn't give them a fifth star is because even though they have a great selection of items, I didn't see a ton that I personally wanted. They didn't do anything wrong at all.

They have a lot of nice brands here; I saw some stuff by Mayoral, Quincy Mae, Rylee and Cru, and others. They had a nice selection of stuff for both genders--a nice change since I have found (and my friends with sons have confirmed) it can be difficult to find as much for boys as for girls. In addition to the clothes, there were lots of toys and accessories. I bought some beeswax crayons that my little one was playing with (the store has a little table set up near the cash register for children to color at) and I liked the crayons a lot myself; they were really smooth. Makes me want to take up coloring more often. (Though I guess I'll have the chance with a small child.) The sizes run the childhood gamut--they have infant items all the way up to probably at least age 10. The store features a brand of the month, and a contest associated with it; if you buy an item by the brand of the month you are entered into a contest. Clever incentive. There isn't a dedicated parking lot, but the downtown (?) Kenosha area has plenty of street parking.

I really enjoyed the lay out. It was the perfect size. My kiddo really enjoyed the animals upstairs and the Dino skeleton. Kenosha is so lucky to have free museums. Definitely worth a visit! The civil war museum is in the same lot. We stopped there too but the woman at the front said it was a lot of reading and didn't really recommend it for my 6 year old.

The store is run by K(enosha) I(n) N(eighborhood) Works Inc. They want to help end the neighborhood slippage. The store in itself reveals a brightness and cuteness not otherwise seen in the area. The prices and products resemble the quirky fun found in many large museum gift shops featuring a couple of unique items, like owner's (Father Domenic Roscolli's) Duck Doo Compost. You will find something that you 'must have', but may not necessarily need. Stop over and check it out. It is one of the few area businesses that has and continues to overcome its surroundings.
