Black Cat is by far the best and favorite store of its kind anyway in Lake County. Some stores are birds of a feather when it comes to horsing around with prices and selections, but I have always had excellent experiences at Black Cat, both with the variety in items, from rocks to crystals to jewelry, books, incense, apparel, accessories - you name it - and the Service! The staff is always super friendly, like you've been a regular even if it's your first time in, and I gotta say: even the overhead Music is great! I've had some really great conversations with the employees, particularly Tim, who is just an all out "Nice Guy", and everyone is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and "Customer Service Friendly" - which is a rarity these days. Shop looks beautiful and eye catching but, I bought 2 rings from this shop and with-in the span of 2 weeks both rings shattered, or split. The rings weren't expensive but was told that the quality is very well. I hope I either can replace the rings or get a refund. read more

Like the store in the selection but the older man that works there is the most rude person ever. Refused to help me find what I needed and was gossiping and saying bad things about other employees and bad things about the owner of the store. We'll never shop there again. Sometimes I just stop in because I love looking at all the new crystals and rocks and this store is my "Happy Place". This store is crazily overpriced- all of the stuff is low quality too. Most of the products look like they were purchased from a foreign country and upcharged tremendously. I really like this place; in my humble opinion they're the only store in the entire mall that sells something worth a damn-- crystals and minerals! It's a smallish selection, but there's a wide variety. Tumbled, raw, in jewelry form, large, small... there are options. They have beads as well. This place is terrible. I went in there and this middle aged man attended me and he was a jerk. He had an attitude and would always rush me. I recently went in after the man said i could return a bracelet when it broke, i went in and told them he said i could return it. This time it was a morbidly obese woman who also had an attitude. She said "i dont care what he told you, im telling you no." I no longer shop in this terrible store. read more

Wish I got her name as there were two people working in the store today. I will not be going back there again for quite some time, if ever.
