My fiance purchased my engagement ring with the help of AnneMarie. She was super accommodating to some interesting circumstances he had the day he made the final decision (our dog was with him.) I am absolutely thrilled with my ring, and AnneMarie definitely helped him to make a beautiful decision. Between getting engaged (December '15) and now, I've stopped in the shop a couple of times, and each time, AnneMarie has insisted that my ring be cleaned by the jeweler and inspected. This is definitely going above and beyond. Fast forward, we are now getting married in just one short month, and it was time to pick out our wedding bands. The store closes at 6pm on Tuesdays, and I arrived about 5:15. Every staff person is friendly and welcoming, offering bottled water and freshly baked cookies. AnneMarie took time to show me different options for my band before my other half arrived, as well as a few options for my engagement ring to make the setting more accommodating to a wedding band sitting next to it. He arrived about 10 minutes before closing, apologetic and prepared to hurry up. Not only did AnneMarie stay until we were completely finished, but the rest of the staff did as well. No one pressured us to make a decision or finish up because they were technically closed. She took her time to make sure we were sized appropriately for our bands and ordered them to make sure they arrive in time for the wedding. I am super excited have them, and know that I will cherish them forever. Rolland's currently has my engagement ring to make some minor adjustments, and I know I will get it back as good as new.

The meetings were geared more toward crafting a ring as opposed to exploring the options at my disposal. Still one of my favorite stops. This is like shopping in a dear friend's great closet. Although the store is tiny, the variety always surprises me, and the service can't be beat. I find interesting items I find nowhere else, and while their prices are consistent with other stores, their sale items make them more affordable. There is even a comfortable place to sit! I have purchased tops, purses, outerwear, scarves, jewelry, and other items. Easy to miss since it is north of Casa Bonita and before the train tracks, up a couple of stairs. But with such a uniquely-vintage location and terrific items and service, it is worth the extra steps. Easy parking right in front, or in the copious parking lots around the corner on Lake Street. No I do not work for them - I am just a huge fan and want to be sure they stay in town!
