Perhaps a pouch for your lipstick etc. Be more organized for your big black gigantic purse using color coding. There was one sales person in the store, it was hard to find her...I can't speak to the quality but items do look well made. Cosmetic pouches I have bought from Asia in the past have held up well. I spent 5 mins here so I didn't get to check all the goods out. There is a fabulous sushi/habachi AYCE restaurant a few stores down the strip mall. Looking forward to my next visit!

The vintage items were a bit on the pricey end so I did not end up buying anything. The drinks (matcha latte and mocha) were both great and tasty. We sat at the front of the store on some comfy couches and watched the Kenosha race going on. It's a beautiful spot to hang out and enjoy a great drink. We also got the ricotta toast with honey drizzle. A tasty treat and nice portion. I do wish there was a bit more ricotta to balance the thickness of the bread, but still great! No credit cards accepted. The daughter remarked that this is not a transportation company and place the chandelier on your lap and be careful to drive over railroad crossings gently. See you later. During our recent visit, we were met with unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly, racially charged behavior from your staff. When we entered the store looking for a plant, the employees--three of whom were standing together chatting--made no effort to greet or assist us. After being asked for help, one of them vaguely pointed down a lane and offered no further support. When I later approached another employee, a woman wearing brown glasses, her response was shockingly rude and condescending. She looked at me, smirked, and said, "We are all out, not a single one we have," with a smug smile and an attitude that was completely uncalled for. The way we were treated made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was clear that we were not being given the same respect or attention as other customers in the store. Whether this was due to race or simple disregard, it's unacceptable. We chose to take our business elsewhere--where we were greeted kindly and treated with basic human decency. I hope Stein Gardens & Gifts takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of its staff, as no customer should feel belittled or disrespected while shopping. I know from shopping at Milaegers for year that they can really get busy and sometimes it takes a while to have your call answered. No big deal and I was able to find what I was looking for elsewhere. Today, 10/30/25, I received a call from one of the managers at Milaegers stating that she had noticed that I had called their store and that my call had gone unanswered. She asked what I was looking for and did I still need to find what I needed. I explained that I had found what I wanted and thanked her for her call. She did not need to call me, but she though enough about their customers that she took the time to follow up on and unanswered call. This is what I call real service and is just another reason I enjoy shopping at Milaegers.
