This Antique Mall is the place you need to go to find collectible treasures, from Civil War militaria to vintage plastic toys. And to top it off they have incredible sales when you can save a lot of $$$$$. Go and see for yourself; Staff of the School Days Antique Mall Keep up the great work !!!!!

Over the years i've purchased several items. Unfortunately this time after i got home with this vaseline bowl, this crack was discovered.

This place used to be filled with genuine antiques and each item used to indicate on the sticker the decade of manufacture. Now it is difficult to tell between reproductions and authentic antiques and the stickers no longer indicate actual timeframe the items are from. On this trip, i purchased a vaseline bowl, however discovered a sizable crack after getting it home. There is a display case on the upper floor with examples of genuine antique glass and reproductions.

Had a fun time with the grandkids who played in a large sandbox filled with corn, traversed a small…read moremaze and played in their activity center. Visited the farm animals and made their own caramel apples. On a past visit we did the corn maze and got lost a while so passed this visit. We had a nice lunch in their cafe area with a variety of wraps, sandwiches, soups, and salads. The food was delicious but the serving staff were a bit grumpy. There's also a shop that features local cheeses and meats, wine, and craft items. It's worth a visit in the fall to secure a pumpkin and let the kiddos burn off a little energy. A side trip to the Jelly Belly Factory is only a short 15 minute drive away and worth the effort.

I visited the location in the village of Mount Pleasant (near Racine, WI) to check out their 8-acre corn maze. The theme this year is the Loch Ness Monster, but I wouldn't let the theme influence you either way as it did not have a significant impact on the experience. The maze is divided up into different sections/quadrants that can easily be identified by different colored (blue, yellow, white, and green) strips running throughout the maze. The colors don't ruin the level of difficulty; they simply let you know that you are progressing into the next section and are really something of a safety measure. I moved at a relatively brisk pace and was unencumbered by small children. That said, it took me approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete, walking roughly three miles. I thought it was a neat experience, and it gave me a nice touch of nostalgia as I haven't done a corn maze since I was a kid. I recommend checking it out, but I think it would be challenging to do at night or with children requiring a stroller as the ground is obviously dirt and not even. *Also make sure to use the restroom prior to entering
