So. Dang. Good. We got this, along with the other half of Irvine, for the super bowl. They were crazy packed but our order came up an hour later hot, fresh, and--my husband and I agreed--the best wings we'd ever had. And all flat pieces? These people are angels. The soy garlic was the winner for both of us. Sweet and spicy had great flavor but wasn't exactly spicy. The dipping sauces are superb but overwhelming on already-flavored wings, so next time we're gonna get a batch of original for dipping. You must wing here! read more

Never tried this place, but wanted some KFC. I tried to call in ahead to order in advance a couple times, but got a busy tone. I thought maybe they were closed or had shortened hours because of COVID, but i'd gamble on going there anyways. As soon as I got there, I realized why the line was busy.. Multiple people in line, multiple people waiting, and the phone was ringing off the hook. Before they took my order, they immediately let me know it was going to be a 45 minute wait. I didn't mind since everyone knows the only way to make good KFC is to make it fresh. They wrote a time on my receipt to remind me of how long it would take. 6 PM, cool. We walked around zion a bit, and I got impatient and swung back around at 5:50. There was nobody waiting for food, so I figured I'd ask if our order was coming up. Again, the guy told me it will be ready at 6 PM. Lone behold, at virtually exactly 6 PM they called my order and boxed it in front of me. Next time, I won't bother them with my hangry impatience since they clearly know what they're doing. They pack these in to go boxes but make sure to leave it half open to make sure they wouldn't steam and get soggy in transit, nice touch. 15 minutes later I was stuffing my face with chicken wondering how their soy garlic was so delicious. Most don't have enough soy or garlic, but this was an absolutely perfect amount of both. I also got multiple sauces on the side, the smoke soy being my favorite. Usually I hate paying for sauces ($.50 each) but honestly I wouldn't mind paying more, they're all delicious. Based on just the food, it was an easy 5 stars. On top of that, the workers are extremely friendly despite working insanely hard to keep up with the constant orders. This is easily my favorite KFC spot, the stellar food and service make it a no brainer. read more

Their service is exceeding the expectations. I would give them 10 stars if I can. It's not the first time I order togo from them. Their service is always nice and passionate. I always ask for extra pickled radish, and they never have any kind of "black face." What happened today made me want to leave them this review. I called them at 5:30 pm and tell them I would pick up around 7:30 pm. I was feeling very full at the time calling, so I ordered in advance to avoid sold out. At around 6:40 pm, they called me and told me that all items were sold out except my order. They apologized and ask me if I could pick up around 7:00 pm instead of 7:30 pm. I understand that they can close earlier instead of waiting me until 7:30. They gave me discount and extra pieces which surprised me. Every worker there was saying sorry to me which made me feel they didn't need to be sorry like this. It's a small case for me to come earlier, but it's a big case of their attitude. They deserve a five star review. I went to BBQ Chicken several times before this covid-19 situation, either at Dimond Jamboree Plaza or Chino Hills. Seems like they have many franchise stores, however, their service is below customer expectations. At least not matching their prices. I am not blaming BBQ Chicken here, but just feel that comparison makes difference. I love their fried chicken (both original and marinated). You can buy a whole chicken or just ask for chicken legs. The fact that you can buy a whole chicken is nice because my wife and I like different parts of the chicken, so it makes it really easy to share. Plus you can ask for some extra marination sauce to-go. We have it in our kitchen and I love to use it every now and then. Give this place a chance if you ever get the chance! read more

Was craving some korean fried chicken one night and was lucky enough to order some wings before they ran out. It's a bit of a wait but well worth it. I don't come to this Zion Market that often so I thought they had some tables but I was wrong. After we ordered I was originally planning to drive home but couldn't wait. Pulled over right before the street and decided to dig in. Damn, that garlic jam is awesome. The raw garlic is pretty strong so it burns a little, but in a good way. The wings were super crispy and steaming hot. This is my favorite korean fried chicken place in Orange County. I will say this place is a little pricier but definitely worth it. My only wish is that they had some chairs and tables for you to eat. I can't wait 15 minutes to get home! read more

No, no, and definitely no. I hate being lied to, especially straight to my face. My family ordered #1 Original Chicken with Lemon Garlic sauce. The cashier/owner told us to come back in 25 minutes. We came back in 20 minutes, and asked if it was ready, which it wasn't (totally fine). We came back 5 minutes later, and the cook asked for my number. Prior to me ordering 25 minutes ago, I noticed 4 boxes of fried chicken on the side (I assumed that whoever ordered ahead by phone hadn't come by yet). He took one of the boxes from there and packed it up for me. I clearly asked if that box had been sitting there from 25 minutes ago. He replied that it was freshly made and the owner was mistaken that our order wasn't ready. We decided to trust him - big mistake. At home, we opened a box of lukewarm/cold, soggy, and bland chicken. Absolutely disgusting. Go elsewhere for Korean Fried Chicken. I'm shocked that this place would straight up lie to my family when we were just patiently waiting for our order. Disgusting food. Awesome food! I initially called and was told to wait, finally answered after 5 minutes but hung up on me. I was kind of pissed but maybe they didn't hear me reply. I try not to let this stuff get to me because it happens. It's not always due to bad "customer service". Plus I'm from Europe, I'm used to bad service anyway so I decided to drive there and order it there. First of all, the service is actually pretty good. When they got my order wrong, they gave me a 10% discount and a free dipping sauce. Maybe it's not a lot but I always appreciate the gesture. Second, the food is actually really good. Much better than Loveletter (inside H-Mart on Jamboree). The regular one, is just average but the sweet and spicy was well flavored and as was the season powdered ones. I admit that it is quite pricey for some chicken wings but the quality is unbelievable. Absolutely no fat at all, super crunchy with the seasoning powder or sauce of your choice. Simply awesome. I can't enter public buildings at the moment so I can only get my hands in it when someone else is going shopping at Zion. They offer so many flavors of fried chicken and they are all delicious. I don't know if I like their other flavors so I tried the half order of their original. With half order, I got five pieces of chicken and two wedges. The chicken was pretty crispy on the outside and the inside is, well, just chicken meat. The size of the chicken was pretty good. However, overall, I am not liking the taste. The chicken was a bit dry, probably from the frying. I was only able to eat two pieces before calling it quits. The wait was super long, too. Also, I waited until the estimated time they wrote on my receipt but I waited longer than they designated. Some other people who came later than me got chicken earlier than me too. Very unorganized. Here is the most important tip when you go this place: DO NOT GIVE THEM A TIP! They request you to pay a tip when you order a chicken so I worried my chicken to be bad if I do not put the tip. Therefore, I paid 15% Tip. But, as I already said before, I waited longer than others and the chicken is shitty as much as KFC. Not other Korean chicken place like BBQ. I prefer the dry rubs though and you can always get the sauce on the side (as I feel it travels better that way). I'm even salivating right now thinking about how delicious the fried chicken is here... lol This place is so convenient since it's right in the Zion supermarket and you can go grab some soju and snacks while waiting for your fried chicken to be ready.
