Reason for this review: There's obviously a lot of trust involved in letting people take care of your pets and access your home. We have 100% confidence in Melissa and her team and want to share our experience because - when we were looking for long-term pet sitting - we didn't have any recommendations to help us. Five-star details: 1. Outstanding Communications. Melissa is always available, including by phone, text, and email. She does what she says she is going to do. We've spoken on the phone & Melissa has a great app which gives you updates and photos of your pet! 2. Genuine Caring. On our most recent trip, the weather got cold. Melissa's team members worked with us to turn on our well heater, ensure our pup was kept warm and cozy, and gave us detailed updates and photos. 3. Going Above & Beyond. Melissa called me about the cold weather to alert us in case we didn't know it was going to be below freezing and to ensure our pet was fully taken care of. Her team actually plays with your pet, spends real quality time, and ensures your pet feels loved. They brought our dog extra treats which was incredibly thoughtful because our dog is a senior citizen - and they actually know about dogs so they brought treats that are great for his health as well as being yummy!

She returned to our house and let the workman in to do the repair on the same day. (We have a mix of large, medium and small dogs, plus one very old cat.) Each of them has a "story" which Lynda was very interested in learning in order to accommodate their individual needs. She quickly earned the trust of our Border Collie rescue (Jack) - no easy feat; and she has been careful with our Aussie (Charley) who is nursing a torn ACL. Whether we just need her for potty breaks, play time or walks; or if we need her for one day or a week, she has always been available to care for our pets. Most importantly, my husband and I are confident she cares about them and understands their needs. After each visit she leaves a detailed report about their activities. We LOVE reading the daily recap of her visits with our boys! I've recommended Lynda to several people and confidently recommend her to you if you want someone who holds a special place in their hearts for furry family members.

I called last minute to ask if they'd be able to help me out. They came out that evening to meet my furry family and listen to my routine. They asked a lot of questions about each pet. They asked questions about any health issues and had backup plans in case something happened to them. They put me at ease right away and it was an easy decision to have them care for my three cats. I received daily updates and pictures of the cats playing, eating, and posing. These daily updates were very helpful and I stopped worrying about them after day one. They kept the schedule that I keep so as not to cause stress to the cats and provided information for me before I left to help with that as well. You choose how many times they come out. They don't just feed and empty boxes. They make sure the cats have a little play time, a little love and maybe even some brushing. I came home and everyone seemed just fine. They weren't overly fussy or put out because we were gone. UpScale Tailz provides extremely affordable services and I didn't stress my cats by taking them out of their environment. They also provide other services such as nail clipping. I like to try and use local teens/young adults if possible, but finding this business was a blessing in disguise. Thanks Richelle and Amanda!
