This was appreciated because it was 29° out and I had just arrived home from vacation. John assessed the options, and got me inside very quickly through a back door without a smart key. Although he did have to drill out the cylinder in the deadbolt, he was able to replace it & rekey it on the spot. I'm comparison, when I called the only locksmith open at 7:00 am when I arrived home, he showed up with a crow bar and his solution was to break the door frame then drill out the smart key and replace it with deadbolt. John was worth waiting for! Not only did he respond quickly, resolve the issue quickly, he did the entire job at a very reasonable price without damaging any doors or their frames.

I called Apex Lock and Key to schedule an appointment, and the locksmith that answered the phone listened to my problem description, asked me a few questions, and then suggested that a good shot of WD-40 would fix the issue. He didn't want to come out and have to charge me for something so simple, which I appreciated. Sure enough, a couple of squirts of WD-40 and exercising the lock with the key was all that was needed! I recently purchased the BRZ used and it came with only 1 key. There were two potentially tricky parts to the transaction - I wanted an OEM Subaru Fob - not a cheap aftermarket clone, and I also needed the service billed back to the car dealer, as the dealer had previously agreed to provide a second fob. Some locksmiths that I contacted didn't want to be bothered figuring that out - they either didn't have an OEM Subaru fob, or they couldn't be bothered contacting the dealer separately to get paid. Unlike the rest, Geo said 'No problem!" - he called the dealer and made arrangements to get paid AND he showed up PROMPTLY with an OEM Subaru Fob. Using his professionally equipped van, he came to my house, quickly programmed the fob, cut the backup key blank and verified everything worked. And to top it all off, Geo was GENUINELY PLEASANT to do business with in all aspects. He never made me feel like I was being a pain or was asking for too much.
