I recently purchased the BRZ used and it came with only 1 key. There were two potentially tricky parts to the transaction - I wanted an OEM Subaru Fob - not a cheap aftermarket clone, and I also needed the service billed back to the car dealer, as the dealer had previously agreed to provide a second fob. Some locksmiths that I contacted didn't want to be bothered figuring that out - they either didn't have an OEM Subaru fob, or they couldn't be bothered contacting the dealer separately to get paid. Unlike the rest, Geo said 'No problem!" - he called the dealer and made arrangements to get paid AND he showed up PROMPTLY with an OEM Subaru Fob. Using his professionally equipped van, he came to my house, quickly programmed the fob, cut the backup key blank and verified everything worked.
