Excellent service. I recently lost my Infiniti's "smart key", and, discovered my spare key wasn't working. Then, I made the even more painful discovery - that the dealer expected me to have my car towed in, so that they could replace my key and program it. The cost for the key and programming would be more than $300, in addition to the towing charge. YUCK. Thankfully, Curtis Sheelor of All Auto, ordered a new fob, and brought it over, and programmed the new key to work with my car. He came when he said he would, and did a great job. Definitely recommend! Last week, I received a new valet key and a repaired key fob for less than half the cost of what Lexus asked. What a win! Both work perfectly! I love the quality of my old Lexus RX, but I avoid the markup of the dealership for repairs or maintenance, and now keys as well! After Lexus told me that they wanted over 200.00 to repair one key fob and "program it," I looked on yelp for another option and found All Auto Locksmith. Because I'd always heard that you must go to the dealership for key fobs and keys with chips in them, I was worried that maybe I should go to Lexus or that I could end up with only partially functional keys-- but they are both perfect! My experience mirrored that of others here. Curtis brought my keys already cut and manually programmed them in about 5 mins. He is professional and friendly. I'm very pleased with my new key fob and new valet key and I'm telling everyone not to go to the dealer. Curtis was a bit harder to get in touch with than some other locksmiths on Yelp but it was definitely worth it. He was flexible on scheduling a time to come make a second key (not an emergency situation) and arrived promptly within the 2-hour window he described. He gave me a call 20 mins ahead of time to give a specific ETA and figure out a specific parking location. The actual job was done in about half an hour; speedy and efficient while also being friendly and conversational! I thought we had verbally agreed to one price but Curtis actually corrected me to say we had agreed to a lower price. This is amazing to me - he would have been well within his rights to just go along with the higher price I told him, but he went out of his way to be honest. I really appreciate the good quality product, advice about keys, and great customer service. Great experience!! The technician/owner was very knowledgeable of aftermarket Lexus keys and factory remotes. I was able to purchase two master keys for a reasonable price in comparison to what the local dealer would charge for the same services. The technician will meet you at your location, reprogram the vehicle (if needed) and cut the keys on-site. The best part of it was that he was on time for the appointment. Curtis replaced a key for my Toyota Prius. That sounds simple but in my case he found that we had reached the limit (5) of the number of keys that could be entered into memory, so he had to reset it. Plus we had an issue with the proximity sensor. Curtis got it all working! And for less hassle and cost than a dealer :) ;) Curtis was also good about communication. I was out of state and desperately needed to duplicate a car key with a chip. I went to several stores throughout the Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland areas to no avail. Called and asked for a price to cut two laser cut blanks, that I already had. They wanted to sell me new blanks, and when I said I just wanted the metal cut, they quoted $75 each. I called our area dealerships to get pricing and find out the process for replacement and just the phone calls alone were a headache and a hassle. DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE. I used this locksmith, and I am truly sorry. First of all, the owner (the main person who completes all of the jobs from his truck) has an awful attitude. Additionally, he does not conduct business properly! He gave me an estimate of one price for services rendered and he was unable to complete all of the services. However, he still tried to charge me the SAME price! It took us thirty minutes to negotiate a different price, and still, I felt overcharged and swindled. THEN, less than two months later I am having the same problem with my vehicle. I called him to take a look at it, considering that my car is still under the 60 day warranty, and he now is telling me that: 1) I never paid my total price (untrue, since we renegotiated the price) and 2) that the 60 day warranty that we agreed on is only 30 days. So, apparently, the warranty changes if something goes wrong with his work. This guy told me that he does not have an office; he literally works from his truck. He is rude, illogical, and dishonest. I learned my lesson the hard way, and I will now have to take legal actions if I want any type of justice. Additionally, I will now have to pay additional money to get my car fixed correctly. Take my word for it: Don't trust him, and dont trust his services. Go to a REAL locksmith with real written contracts, and a real office! read more

I needed a spare key for my 1999 Ford Expedition. Curtis was courteous and professional and gave me a really great quote. (the key was the kind that had a transponder that needed programming ) I even saved more money by meeting him at his mobile van where he's based at in Capital Heights. In less than 15 minutes Curtis had made a copy of the key and programmed the transponder. You can pretty much bet it would cost you twice as much and take twice as long at the dealership.
