Interior seating is not the most comfortable, with former church bleachers that are quite bouncy or large and hard game of thrones-like high chairs. The team is super friendly and will send you to the food station or the bar depending on your needs, and, with the good quality Mexican cuisine on service, you'll want a taco or two. The brewery specializes in Hazy/IPAs, to come expecting to enjoy these PNW basics. I swapped between them and non-alcoholic options since hazies are not my favorite but everyone I was with loved them. The restrooms are clean and there are plenty of bike stands to make this a car-free journey.

The bartender informed me they were only available in the tacos that day. I didn't order the carrot tacos, just two grilled chicken tacos. But at his suggestion, I ordered a $9 roasted vegetable and romescu sauce as a side dish. It was spectacular! Fennel, beets, yellow squash, all fresh and tiny like they came from the farmers market that day. The chicken tacos were loaded with charred chunks of chicken thigh, red onions, cotija cheese and cilantro. So much meat! The corn tortillas were a bit stiff but held up fine. A simple, polite morning request to lower the early morning music unexpectedly scaled into an antagonistic confrontation with young staff. Then, in a subsequent incident, instead of a calm intervention, during a conversation, I was publicly yelled at across a crowded room by another young employee. Their continued rude behavior pushed me past a breaking point out of sheer anxiety, and I uncharacteristically lost my temper, resorted to profanity, and walked out. While I take full ownership of my part--reacting defensively under that immense stress--the owners' ultimate solution was to permanently ban a long-term, 5-plus years loyal patron rather than engage in a mutual conversation about what caused the friction in the first place. For an establishment that projects an image of neighborhood inclusivity, the reality is a stark lack of grace. The portion was a little skimp, I think, considering most of this dish consists of lettuce. If only they would add more to it and turn this sucker into a big ole dish, this salad could be awesome!
