Found this great local spot on Yelp during my trip in Portland. Local bar that has so many beers on tap and a full bar. They are attached to this great Italian resturant so I was able to get pasta with my beer! Carbs on Carbs! The service was great and watching the playoffs for baseball was the best part. The inside was cute and simple and with a few TVs!

Upon our return from the Japanese Garden we discovered "Beer-O-Clock" and decided to give it a whirl for a frosty beer following the brisk walk in the heat. The pub was very comfortable and the bartender was extremely welcoming and friendly. Found a booth near the window, and ordered a Block 15 Fresh Flow, and a ColdFire Juice Bug to quench our thirst! 160z craft pints for only $5.00 (smile). While sipping our beers we ordered Cauliflower Radicchio Salad, and it was a party in your mouth! Unbelievably delicious and complemented the beers perfectly! Thank you Grassa Restaurant (adjacent to the bar) for the exquisite salad! The brewery was calm, friendly, comfortable, yet city vibe-like, due to its close proximity to the sidewalk of a major street in the Pearl district of uptown Portland. Definitely, a revisit when we get back to Portland in the near future.

Whats not to love about a place called Beer'oclock? It was definitely beer oclock when I showed up. What I found was a well curated beer selection. There was a sassy bar wench who gave great service, Portland born and raised -pulling drafts who was pretty entertaining and knew a lot about beer in Portland. I caught a good buzz there then went down the street to Sizzle Pizza. If you are behind a bar in Portland is it mandatory to have at least five piercings and twenty tattoos? And Blue or Pink Hair. Not being judgy. Just curious. BTW the restauarnt next door delivers to your table if you place an order with them. I thinks its Italian and looked really good.

One of the better two houses I've been to and I've been to a lot. Was able to eat my Dinner in here from Lardo. The service was nice and the music was awesome love old school hip hop. I will most definitely be back.

Place is great. They have a lot of options of beers, ciders and seltzers. Plenty of space to find a seat around 10.

    Small sign, easy to pass.

Loyal Legion is that kind of place, with the sort of dark, woody vibe that screams legacy, but without the pretension or airs. The tap list is long, deep and well-curated with mostly local taps, and their whisky wall is very well stocked indeed. Cocktail program is robust, the menu is a hearty mix of drinking food (brats and pretzels) and pub grub (burgers and fries) with sandos and salads thrown in for balance. If you're a beer snob, there's no better place IMO. Street parking can be a bit sketch though.

If you're into discovering great local beers and ciders, this place is a dream -- there's always something new and exciting to try. The food is just as impressive. It's the kind of place that feels both elevated and approachable -- perfect for date nights, gatherings, or just treating yourself after a long day. Can't recommend it enough.

The lone woman (who we later found out was the owner) who tended to the bar and cooked up the snacks in the back and cleaned the tables and did everything else was fantastic and she did it all with grace and a smile the whole time. We ordered a flight of all the beers on tap (15). All the beers are gluten free and we enjoyed the wide variety of styles.

She loves IPAs, porters, and stouts. I'm more into lighter, easy-drinking beers. It's rare for a brewery to truly hit for both of us... but Evasion absolutely did. Their tap list was exceptionally well-balanced, with great options across styles. Everything we tried was clean, well-made, and thoughtfully crafted. No gimmicks, no "meh" beers -- just genuinely excellent brewing. And the saison? Easily the best one I've ever had and now my new favorite beer. Crisp, bright, perfectly balanced, and ridiculously drinkable. I would come back to Portland just for that saison. The vibe was another huge win. Relaxed, welcoming, and the kind of place you immediately want to settle into and stay awhile. We ended up lingering there until our Hopscotch reservation next door because we liked it so much. Honestly, this might be the best brewery we've been to anywhere, and we've been to a lot. If you care about quality beer across multiple styles and a chill, comfortable atmosphere, Evasion is a must-visit in Portland.
