One surrounded by food trucks, and another under a tent. If you are ordering beer, you'll need to place your order inside the building by the cashier. They have plenty of beer options and a few drink specials. The place gets busy as the evening progresses. They have some great food options from the food trucks... from Pizzas, Hawaiian plates, burgers, etc. I ordered a speciality larger + the $16 'Westie' pizza from the Proof Pizza truck. The pizza was delicious. The beer was refreshing. They also have a number of bathrooms that were clean. Everyone I encountered was helpful/friendly. Will be back. read more

This spot is open, nice seating areas , good food trucks and break side had some really good alcoholic drinks, not a fan of beer myself, was really happy to see they had options. Went to Breakside and tried the food stands outside. There were 4 open, but all of them were extremely slow. It wasn't even busy, yet we waited about 45 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, the wait didn't match the quality. The food was pretty underwhelming and not worth the time. With that kind of delay, you expect something great -- but it was just average at best. Breakside is one of my family's go-tos for a hangout any part of the year, but especially the warmer months! They have a wide variety of spaces to enjoy beer in, but the best is the outdoor space with the food carts. It's perfect for socializing, especially if you have little ones or dogs! My daughter loves to run around people-watching and lusting after doggos haha It can get really busy when the weather is great. I will admit I haven't really gotten the absolute warmest vibes from bartenders when I've quizzically scanned the menu at the counter before ordering. They kind of just wait for me to be ready with an order. The beers are pretty standard - I haven't ever been disappointed when going with my default hazy IPA of choice lol. Stopped in at lunch time after seeing the great "Winnebeergo" out front in the food cart lot. Sat at the bar and was served by James. I saw a cucumber infused beer but asked him for a refreshing recommendation. He confirmed my choice right off. A good sign. The beer was perfect. Loved the gold geometric wallpaper. This place is super cozy and comfortable feeling. The seating areas are spacious without losing the tavern-like feeling. The bartenders have always been amazing and courteous during my visits and the drinks are lovely. The food carts in the back have a good variety to choose from, the pizza and gyro places being my go-tos. I think the only downside is the fact that they close fairly early and the parking can be a bit difficult. I'd recommend this place hands down for anyone looking to have a nice meal and good drinks. read more

Breakside is a go-to Beaverton spot for me. They have good beers and have a decent selection of food carts, including poke/sushi burritos, burgers, pizza and tacos. They are super dog friendly and also kid friendly so you can bring your family or meet up with friends with kids. They're always decently busy, especially in the summer. They've done a great job at making the suburbs a little less boring and I appreciate that. read more

Breakside is always a good option for my family, while the weather is nice April-October. We enjoy the outdoor spaces. For kid-free dates, we'll sit inside at the bar. The hubby likes the Down to Clown IPA. I typically get one of their driest cider, which can rotate by season. The kids get the in-house made root beer. There are at least 1/2 dozen food carts to choose from at any given time. Although, they do need to update their website. Love coming here! There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Also has heated areas/fire pits and is always clean (for the most part)! Although we came on a cold day, with the sun shining, it wasn't too bad to sit outside to enjoy our drinks and food. Great drinks to choose from at the bar; beers, cocktails and wines. Outside, there's ~7 food carts to choose from but all great options! No food truck sells similar item; pizza, burgers, sushi, gyros, sandwiches, and chicken. Super fun brewery with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's perfect for a casual lunch or dinner with an enclosed turf area with various food trucks. Great for groups and also offers events like trivia night! They have rotating beers/ciders on tap and also have a full bar. I enjoyed my spicy margarita a lot (very spicy) and also got a poke bowl at one of the food trucks. Service is quick and nothing fancy. I was super happy with the quality and portion of the poke, and overall really enjoyed my meal. The tacos were also a hit. Overall, I think this is a great spot if you're looking for a place with lots of food/beverage options. The outdoor space and food trucks is definitely the selling point for me. read more

One of my favorite spots in Oregon! Breakside is truly a gem with lots of food carts available. I'm obsessed with farmer and the beast. They have the best smashed vegan patty and fries. The truffle vegan mayo is warm and gooey. It's such an awesome place to take friends from Portland and out of town because there are lots of seating options both in the patio outside and inside. Love this outdoor space connected to the food carts right in downtown Beaverton! The beers on tap are all great as per usual, I got the passion fruit sour and there is indoor and outdoor space to sit in this area. I went here yesterday. It's kind of a cavernous, dark taproom with lots of indoor & covered outdoor seating. The Biergarten in back is also very large with lots of covered outdoor seating, outdoor restrooms and about a half dozen food carts serving different styles of food (sandwiches, tacos, sushi rolls, pizza etc). I found breakside's beer pretty tasty especially the fresh-hop IPA I had. The Biergarten was comfortable and spacious. Since it was a nice day, there weren't many people inside. I didn't eat anything so I can't comment on the food. The place appears to be family friendly and dogs seem to be welcome outside. read more

Totally delighted!! This is the new kid on the block in Beaverton. Plenty of shaded seating outdoors and many food truck to visit. Breakside has an inside bar with icy cold AC. Our first visit and we'll be back! We ordered a personal size sausage pizza from the red truck (Proof Pizza) and it came out hot and criss-cross cut in nine squares. Excellent! Just right for a lighter meal. Also, from green truck (Farmer and the Beast) a Smash burger with Fries. The burger was outstanding. This is going to be the one to beat this summer for me. Fries were "regular" size and cut, and came out hot. A great side to the burger. My fav Breakside IPA was just steps away and together we had a pleasant and fun visit!! A very nice build out by Breakside Brewery on the westside. The place is spacious both on the inside and outside. The outside patio is a great place to hang out during the summertime. They also have some partnering food carts where you can order food. You can order both beer and hard liquor at this location. One of the quickest routes to success as a beer brand in Old Town Beaverton is to realize that beer is the least of the area's needs or concerns. Raindrop has an amazing, community-oriented taproom a block down. Lazy Days (formerly Ex Novo) works the brewpub model a block in the other direction. Loyal Legion bravely soldiers on with the bar-based restaurant model in an area that nominally knows how to order at the bar. The giant cart pod two highways down has a huge tap selection. John's Bottle Shop is now right down Hall. If you bypass Cedar Mill to get here, you're going past Great Notion and Von Ebert. So how do you survive as a beer brand surrounded on all sides by beer? You diversify. This is the first Breakside taproom I've seen where beer is roughly half of the drinks menu. Seltzers, ciders and simple cocktails comprise the rest, which takes a page from Loyal Legion's firm embrace of a full-page cocktail menu and upstairs speakeasy. In a neighborhood filled with sit-down restaurants and take-away options, Breakside curated some of the best food carts in the area. It briefly had Matt's BBQ on the property, but currently boasts a lineup including Proof Pizza, Tito's Taquitos and the Farmer and the Beast that would be marquee carts in the pod several high-speed lanes away near Beaverton Central. Breakside diversified its offerings for a rapidly diversifying neighborhood and went from being yet another brewery/taproom to an intriguing option on the area's ever-shifting map. For those who don't typically bring their own food to cart pods or breweries, it should be a great fit. read more

Okay, Breakside Brewery is fine, nice indoor area and lot's of outdoor ambiance, staff was friendly and the margarita was good - but that's not the point. The best thing about Breakside is that it's the newest location for Tito's Taquitos, and THAT is something to celebrate! If you want the prettiest food on a plate that also is delicious and (relatively) healthy, you want Tito's. Their owners and employees are all the nicest people EVER, the food is ridiculously fresh and gorgeous, and it is SO GOOD. Great vegetarian options, I love love love their carnitas mushrooms! It's like eating a work of art, and even though it's deep-fried, there's so much fresh raw garnish and salsa and healthy toppings so it barely feels like a fried meal. Hubby always gets the fried fish tacos, and he also loves the shrimp tacos. We tried their new potato appetizer/nacho thing and it was really good, but the taquitos are still the best thing to get. Seriously, if you haven't tried Tito's, you must. This new location at Breakside is way closer to my work and easier to get to, which makes me very happy! read more

Finally, Breakside is open!! This was definitely the most sought after Portland import to Beaverton, and boy did they step up to the plate. We went here with a bunch of our friends on Sunday (during their soft opening weekend) and even though it was hot as hell, we managed to have a fun time. The beers they were pouring were top notch as always and I was thoroughly satisfied by the hazy IPA that I had. Points for putting kiddie pools which was a nice touch for people to dip their feet in to cool off a bit during the hot weekend. Tried the chubby bunny food cart and their vegan breakfast sandwich was super yummy. It's really hard to find a good vegan breakfast and this place I think has got their menu figured out pretty well. Love this spot to meet up with friends and after showing off the area. There's a food cart pod out back, indoor seating, and more picnic benches in the front of the space. I always get good service at the bar here, and the area itself stays clean, despite the traffic it gets. There's a solid taplist, and a handful of cocktails that are available. Over the summer I was a big fan of their sparking paloma, but typically go for their West Coast Best Coast if its on tap, or a cider. Really great space year-round with fires in the food cart pod, dog-friendly, and outdoor lights that keep the ambience. read more

Only 2 of the 3 current food carts open right now. Parking is all street parking and you can expect to walk a few blocks. Inside there are great cushioned seats with seat backs. They didn't have a beer menu online for this location. They didn't have the seasonal Cuddle Puddle IPA I was looking for. $5 for a 12oz draft of their standard beers. My wife had a 13.3% stout about 10oz for $8. Lots of promise and a needed brewery addition since Ex Novo is closing nearby. read more
