Yesterday was my first experience with FunBurger and I really want to like it. I ordered curbside pickup and their online tool is ok, there is not an option to omit toppings. The veggie burger doesn't list vegan cheese as an optional add. The food was ready faster than expected. They brought the food to my car and were polite and helpful. The fries had no salt and needed it. To had the beyond burger on a sesame roll. The bread was not toasted enough and immediately became a soggy mess. There was enough bbq sauce on it. I loved their ranch there. Looks like it was homemade. The mushroom fries were okay. I liked them: they were new for me. My family and I came here because we were shopping nearby and was intrigued by the restaurant name. The service is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a flight of beer and had trouble selecting 4 beers, the staff was very helpful and patient with my selections. The menu is very big and accommodating to large crowds. We ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad, Fun Burger Cheese Bomb, Mushroom Fun Fries, kid's chicken nugget meal, and kid's grilled cheese sandwich meal. My wife's salad look nice, but the chicken was very dry. She should have ordered a burger instead. My Fun Burger Cheese Bomb had cheese in between 2 beef patties and was a good size burger, but was also a little dry. I was expecting a juicer burger. My older kid's grilled cheese was good and not over toasted. My younger child had the nuggets and it was a little bland. Their fries were nothing special either, could have been a little crispier. The Mushroom Fun Fries were okay, too. Very juicy inside, slightly crispy outside, but I wouldn't order it again. It should have come with a side of sauce to dip. The flight of beers was refreshing and they had a large selection of beers to choose from. The venue is great because I was able to watch the Final Four on the large screen. Ordered a double fun burger through grub hub since that is o e of the delivery option on the funburger website. The fun burger's description in grub hub does not say cheese, but the picture depicts a burger with cheese. Also, in the "extras" option, it asks if you want "extra cheese" So i made the assumption that the double fun burger had cheese included.... IT DOES NOT and i was able to confirm that on the funburger website. So disappointed about the cheese, but most likely not funburger's fault. However, the double fun burger should include bacon in it.... my burger was missing the bacon. The biggest issue i have is right now, with all this coronavirus stuff going on, something like that should not be overseen as most of us with kids can't leave to get the issue corrected. Plus i ordered delivery for a reason. Our order of cajun fries was good. The fires should be tossed in the seasoning a little better. Looks like the fries were put in the container and then a hearty amount of seasoning poured on top. While some people would enjoy 50%of their fries salty, i do not. Threw half of them away. Also, the kids chicken nuggets are more like small tenders. At first glance, FunBurger really didn't do much to change the look from hook burger to its own. They added a few "game" items inside in the dining area. There was an old Pac-Man/ StreetFighter game (which was probably the coolest part), some pay-to-play claw machines and a foosball table. Onto the food, I was not super impressed. The burger patty is a 6oz, which is a really good size for a burger. Unfortunately, it was bland. It seemed like there was no seasoning on the patty and it also seemed like there was no seasoning on their "fun" sauce either. Stopped by for lunch with my sister and son. The outside seating area is clean and well shaded. The inside has plenty of seating, arcade games and large screen TVs. The menu is easy to follow and well priced. They also have a nice beer menu on tap. We ordered the Cesar Salad, BBQ Chicken Salad and Chicken Nugget Kid's Meal as well as Pineapple Hard Cider. Another great family meal experience for us at Funburger. We greatly enjoyed our burgers ,fries and soft serve desserts at very fair prices. Look at my burger below, is that a burger or what? It looks like it was professionally styled for a menu shot but it's just how it was served to me. And we enjoyed the Dodgers trouncing the Rockies on what must be the World's Largest Television Screen - actually composed of many smaller screens seamlessly integrated together. It's an engineering marvel. So was the excellent customer service, with our server and crew going out of their way to make sure we had a really pleasant experience. Came to fun burgers got the veggie fun burger it comes in a wheat bun, lettuce , tomato , onion , cucumber , sprout and chipotle sauce. I took out the onion and cucumbers and the sauce on the side and honestly it was PRETTY darn good! I went into FunBurger, halfway expecting it to be similar to HOOK but it's NOT. I am not sure what I got is really a hamburger. More like a hamburger sandwich on a ciabatta roll. Served to you cut in half. To me, that is not a hamburger. I definitely prefer a more traditional bun. It tasted okay but not at all as good as HOOK. They have beer (bottle and tap) and wine available. The service was friendly. The food was a tiny bit slow coming out but nothing unreasonable.
