I was invited to this location on Sunday for Sunday football, new home of the Kansas City Chiefs. I was highly impressed with the entree selections, I had a Cali burger it was surprisingly delicious with smoked bacon and Avocado, very tasty and their fries were not skimpy but perfect flavor and taste. Nice selection of TV's to watch all the games, loved the patio with the very big screen tv, if you never been here you are missing out in the nice selections of burgers, and salads as well. Been wanting to try this place since I see it every single time I get Chick Fila. The look of this place is nice. They have a spacious indoor seating area as well as some seating on the outside as well. Service was really good. The guy who took our order was very patient with me since this was my first time visiting this place. I got the Beer Cheese Fun Burger and it was pretty good. I do have to say that the burger patty itself is pretty dry but the beer cheese definitely saved it. The flavor is all there, I just wish the patty was juicier. Along with the burger, my boyfriend and I shared parmesan fries and onion rings. Both are super yummy and the onion rings had the perfect crisp to them. For my drink, I decided to get their vanilla shake and it was so good, it was not too thick and not too sweet. Wow what a turn around! Under its previous owners this place was dirty and the food was "okay". But the new owners have cleaned this place top to bottom and the food is phenominal! Walking in you are greeted by a wide open floor plan, neon signs and large screen TVs playing sports, totally cool. The Menu has been expanded to include more items like salads and sandwiches. And new burgers have been added to the menu like the Fun Burger Cheese Bomb, FB's own take on the world famous "Juicie Lucie" that is usually only found in the midwestern states. All their burgers are thick patties, i am assuming around 1/3 to 1/2 pound. You get a generous amount of toppings like lettuce onion and tomato, even on themed burgers like the BBQ Fun nothing is skimped, lots of fried onions and bacon! Combos are delivered with a generous helping of fries on the side. The fries are crispy shoestring style and definitely tickle your taste buds with their seasoning salt. All the staff who work here are friendly and greet you with a smile. They are very attentive and make sure to check on you and ask how you are doing. Over all the new Fun Burger is a wonderful establishment filled with great food and friendly faces, and with their full range of beer on tap plus the awesome menu and entertainment, this place is a must for anyone seeking a good time on Friday night or the perfect spot to hang out for Sunday night sports! If you're ok with 1/4" thick, machine formed, over-cooked mediocre quality beef burgers that you can bounce off a lake, this place is for you! Burnt edges, brown all the way thru, zero juiciness, flavorless (aside from the burnt edges)... how is this place 4 stars?? The fries are 2.5-3 out of 5. All of the games were broken, jammed packed w quarters ppl probably frustratingly lost to them. I got $3 worth of jammed up quarters out w my tweezer (score, i guess) but the game still didn't work. The one game that did work was the one they gave feee tokens for, which was cool. Customer service was great. I couldn't order a beer bc they weren't serving alcohol at that time (?) The best one that is on par with any recommended by George Motz, or Farley Elliott recommendations is due to open a brick and mortar sometime next year (Got cha Logan!) Yet, I have a found this a solid contender for around town and found the burger ("Original Fun Burger" with bleu cheese and Angus beef) average compared to what I was expecting. In summary, it earned a 2 in value, 3 on taste. My only reason it doesn't earn a higher rating is that the price of the burger was 10.95, nearly 25% higher than other well respected burgers in more expensive locals which IMHO makes this burger overpriced for what it delivers. read more

It seems impossible for most any place to stay open here as most families keep flocking back to boring and drab chain restaurants. Was looking for a new burger place to try. This place did not disappoint. I got the Orginal Fun Burger. Their special sauce is very good, sweet and savory. I really liked their burgers because you can tell that they use real ingredients, like, I did not feel gross after eating it. We also got an order of the beer cheese fries, which was also super good. The cheese was creamy and tangy, and the chives added an extra punch of flavor. The servers were so kind! They greeted everyone who came in and struck up a conversation with each person. They were all super friendly. They have beer on tap, and their micheladas are also good! They have squeeze tube condiments, including ranch and BBQ sauce. This place is also a drive-thru. This place I'd a fun sports bar type of vibe. I posted a pic of a huge projector that they have on the inside (they also have another one outside, too, for outside seating). Dry, small, that's how I'd describe their burgers. For the price they are charging, the burgers are definitely on the small side. Flavor was nothing special, and both the burger patty and the bun were very dry. The onion rings were good, but not good enough to make up for the lackluster burger. Service was decent. The manager Will went above and beyond all the way from greeting my family and I when we arrived to seeing if we needed anything cleared from our table. Food is great and the drink selection is plentiful. All of the staff is super nice and attentive. Can't recommend this place enough as we will be returning many times. Not good. The prices and the way the cashier speaks to you makes it seem like this should be a regular sit down restaurant, but its a fast food place that obviously has high overhead costs. I wanted to try the garlic parm fries, despite being over $7. The habit has these sometimes for about $5 and are much much much better. I hate it when the fries are kind of firm still on the inside and that is exactly how they came out. They are supposed to be very soft on the inside. I can tell from the way the fries were prepared that this place is nothing to write home about. I have avoided going there in the past because it looks like a place that isn't that great, but charges like they are. I went to in n out and got a triple burger and a small soda for less than a double burger by itself would have cost here. Please avoid this place and allow for something better to take its place. I keep seeing this place and wanted to try it but probably won't be coming back. I got the beer cheese burger combo, the best thing I had was the Dr. Pepper. The fries and burgers were both cold. The pretzel bun was wet and the "carmelized onions" were barley soft. I also had a few bites of my sons burger and it was something I felt that I had just made at home. I also did not few like this place was very clean or well kept. The mens bathroom faucet is coming off the sink. All the ketchup and mustard bottles are greasy, clogged, or dripping with sauce. And the tables were sticky and not clean. For this place to be dead during Sunday Night Football with all the beer and big screen TVs no wonder nobody was here.
