Stopped by for the Escape Room and also played in the arcade and obstacle maze. It was pricey to do each "room" as you need to pay individually for escape room or the obstacle maze or the roller skating so taking a large group was expensive. Plus you pay to play arcade games so it would have been nice to have the obstacle maze included considering how much was spent on the arcade games by all 8 of us. Had fun in the Escape Room - all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. My 3 stars was more for the value for what you get. read more

Went here for my brothers birthday party and didn't expect much. Their laser tag course is the best I have ever seen, it's two stories and is a lot of fun. Even as an adult I would give the laser tag a try! They had to shut down the paint ball area, but hopefully they're fighting the city to open that back up. I did not try the food so I can't comment on that, also I would say their arcade needs a little work. They have an arcade, jungle gym, skating rink and laser tag. But overall they have a lot of activities for the kids and they'll have a blast. read more

We had our daughters 6th birthday party here, we had about 15 kids, they had a great time, that being said, as soon as we arrived the owner was very rude to us, treated us as if we were beneath her or something it was very weird. And each of the parents who showed up randomly, commented to me about "the lady at the door " (the owner) how rude and mean she was. I paid a lot of money for that party and expected courteous service that is all. Do your self a favor and book your party elsewhere!! read more

Went with my girlfriend because she wanted to roller skate got kicked out after the OWNER tried to fight her because an employee who I hadn't talk to in 2 years felt uncomfortable with me not interacting with her as I didn't even recognize her when my girlfriend pointed her out. I used to come here all the time with my family and friends after my experience yesterday I will never be returning. I asked if there was re entry because I wanted some McDonald's and not their nasty, overpriced, microwave pizza. The owner then starts yelling and CUSSING at me over the counter while there was a little kid birthday party right behind me. She made me leave. The only good thing I can say is that they gave me my money back after I asked. I have gone through and read the other reviews and there are multiple about the owner being rude to customers who are keeping them in business. Not to mention the place stinks, has rude teenage staff to begin with, and is extremely unclean. You can feel the germs as soon as you walk in. There is no reason you should not allow parents to go into the sky maze with their YOUNG children who might be scared. To help guide my child through the maze and help her feel comfortable, you are going to charge me full price?!? Some of the steps are big too and the younger kids need a little help. About an hour after we were there, some "employee" came along to "monitor" the maze and was so ridiculously bossy and rude (mind you, the maze was operating just fine with no attendant for at least an hour.) She closed off one of the entrance/exits so kids were all confused and parents were in question. She was bossing kids around. Like why does it matter if there are two entrances/exits open? It doesn't. Ideally people are/should be watching their children. Really cool when my kid came to the exit that was now closed and didn't know how to get back to the other exit. And of course I'm not allowed to go in and help her. Then the employee sat there twirling her gum and playing with her hair, meanwhile acting like she ran the place. Get off your high horse chick. Maybe try smiling once in awhile too. And if you want to be in charge, perhaps do something about the kids rough housing in the maze instead of worrying about exits/entrances. Someone moved the shoe rack to let their kid out who was lost and this employee literally RAN over to confront him. He told the employee he was helping his kid and the employee ran off, I'm assuming to tell her manager. Also tacky to see all of the non functioning machines and equipment just hanging out behind and under the sky maze. Some of the machines in the arcade don't work. This place needs some TLC, reduction in cost, and a change in employees. Also a sign on the front door might be nice so people don't feel like they are just walking into a massive shed. read more

The place was very huge, and wore my teens out! Lots to do. We spent about $150 for tickets (3 hour session), and about $50 for pizza and drinks. I would give it 5 stars, but the young ladies working the food area (one blonde Caucasian, and one of possibly Hispanic decent), omg they were rude! No, "Hello! How can I help you?", no greeting at all. I approached the counter and all the workers were busy fixing kitchen machinery, so naturally, I'm assuming the two young ladies were busy, too - considering NEITHER GREETED TO ASK IF I NEEDED HELP OR ASKED TO TAKE MY ORDER. Smh. So, I stood there for 10 minutes and finally asked if I could have my order taken because no one said anything, and the line behind me began to grow. No plates offered, but was soon corrected by another staff member (thumbs up). I'd let them go and hire better servers because that probably will be the reason I'll be taking my money elsewhere. I also failed to mention that the Hispanic young lady rolled her eyes at my son's friend after he ordered his frozen drink for no reason whatsoever. That's what you're being paid to do - TAKE ORDERS. Lord, get rid of these girls! Other patrons sitting near me also spoke openly about similar experiences with the same two. Not a good look for such a promising facility. We went to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday. She was given a personal confetti piñata from a friend as a present to open. The owner and other staff watched her celebrate by throwing the confetti in the air twice to take a picture. As my husband and friend were already in the process of cleaning it, a staff member came over to tell us we had to clean that up or be charged a $250 cleaning fee. Since we were already in the process of doing this we asked for a a broom. While cleaning, the owner came to watch us and make sure we cleaned it. I noticed him, not knowing who he was because he never came to us like a business man to acknowledge he was the owner sat and stared at us, not knowing who he was as he was watching us I asked him if I could help him? He said what kind of people are you to come into my house and do this? Excuse me? He proceeded to harass us while cleaning and I am not one to make accusations but after several minutes of back and forth he said it again. My husband is black ; my friend helping us Muslim and where's her hijab and there were many parties going on and you single us out over that! Because we celebrate. he also said are you animals! I was enrage! My husband responded that he was a retired police officer who put his life on the line and served this city for 25 yrs. and a veteran. My friend who was helping also stated her son lost his life serving our city in the line of duty that is the type of people we are! For an establishment that provides a service for a profit that is advertised for birthdays parties SHAME ON YOU. You ruined my daughters party by making a joyous occasion turn into an ugly, word slinging fight for what a little confetti? You should be proud of yourself. Staff is horrible. The lady working in the front looked at my little cousin, who was standing still, in disgust, and then continued to say she would puke all over us. She was rude to my Cousins Grandma, who was just trying to check in, as well. The man I had when I went into the laser tag was just rude. There was a 3 year old in my group, and when the kid would try to talk to his mom, the worker would just get real quiet and then yell at us to be quiet. Also, grown men and women are allowed on the SkyMaze... I find that creepy, and unsafe. The worker that was supposed to be watching and monitoring the SkyMaze was COLORING. Literally coloring. Well.. my kids were so excited to go after showing the pictures. When we arrived 2 adults and 2 children we were told we each had to purchase the Buffet. 11.99 each person totaling 47.96 that is not including ANY activities those were all extra.. first off their website does not say anything about that.. we did not want to eat only to have the kids play. So in total it costed 119.00 to walk in the door.. then my son who is 8 wanted a helping thing with skating another 7.00 for something that is given back? The staff was very rude.. all expect the girl that took the money. It smells terrible in the arcade room. Half the games were broken. With laser tag they allowed way too many people in at one time so you are literally tripping over each other very dangerous. Save your money. read more

Had my sons birthday party there. A good portion of the games didn't work and they had no water. While I understand there is construction on the place right now and therefore not all games were plugged in, the owner was rude when I asked him to remedy the water situation. His response to me complaining about not having water for a bunch of nine year old boys playing laser tag was to give them diet soda. Clearly not a good solution. My issue isn't that they had poor planning (which they did) it was lack of concern and rudeness from the owner. read more

We decided to try this place out and it was well worth the money! The indoor sky maze was awesome for my 5 year old and my 12 year old had a blast playing laser tag. Even my husband and his friend joined the laser tag fun. We wanted a small snack so we got some french fries but I thought it was a little overpriced for such a small serving. & I also thought the price of a pitcher of juice was a little steep since they know the kids are going to guzzle it down after laser tag. While my kids like it, my husband and I have not impressed. $91.00 to get in the door. We went on a Sunday and got the ultimate pass and buffet. I told the girl we don't want to roller skate but she said that was the bundle to get. We could have gotten the 2 attractions pass and saved money. They also ran out of food. We paid for the pizza buffet and they ran out. It was dirty and smelled bad. There was an open tampon by the front entrance...gross. The bathrooms were dirty. The owner is gruff and not friendly. Said they were very busy that day and understaffed. Guess what??? everyone is understaffed. More than 1/2 of the arcade games are out of order/broken and their paintball is permanently down d/t neighbor complaints about paint ending up on their property. This place has potential, but management needs to reevaluate its business model and reassess hours, attractions, advertising, and its website. It really is too bad. It does have potential. Will never return. Do not recommend anyone to give these people your money. This place ruined my nieces 9th birthday party. Place is way over priced food is ridiculously over priced. Most of the arcade games eat your coins and dont work or dont give tickets. Went to the worker about the issue and she said "I dont know what you want me to do". Once the manager arrived I went to him with the issue and he looked at the machines and fixed the ones he could and put out of order signs on the rest that were not working. Some went back to not working. The kids were all so disappointed when they put coins into machines and couldnt play it or didnt get tickets. Now onto laser tag. We got our appt for 345. After gather all the kids and adults we went in to the laser tag at 345 and the guy said I already started the round you are late your going to have to come back later. Next available for our group size was 515. We were very pissed and disappointed and the manager didnt not care one bit and told us we shouldn't of been late. We asked to talk to the owner, which was a horrible idea cause he was the rudest person I have met, he told us we were late to bad and if we dont like it we can leave and not come back. When I complained about all the money I wasted in non working arcade games he told me to leave and not come back. He eventually gave me the $50 I spent on tokens and him and the lady told us to never return. I alone spent $300 to give my niece a good bday party. In total for our group we prolly spent $600 and were treated like we were garbage and did not care about are business at all. Worst service by the OWNER! Funagins located in Sylvania, Ohio on centennial road treated us in a very racist manner. My good friend's daughter's 10th birthday party was just held there and because we had a little confetti on the floor, they came over to us and said to either pick it up or be charged $250 clean-up fee. We offered to vacuum it but they said we weren't allowed to use their vacuum. So we proceeded to pick it up with our hands. A girl gave us a broom and being on carpet, we kept at it until the racist owner came up to us with a smirk on his face, while sipping pop through his straw, and said what kind of people come into MY house and scatter confetti like that! I'll tell you what people, I'm Arab and my friends are black. This white owner kept at it with his insults and ranting over a little confetti, which may I add, we were still cleaning as he insulted us. Never again will we come back and I recommend you go to chuck E cheese or literally ANYWHERE else to have fun or have a child's birthday party. Would give zero stars if I could!! For starters, the staff was obnoxiously rude. The cashier at the front seemed like she did not want to be there and gave my friend and I a dirty look as we walked in. The worker on the skating floor was also very rude. There are no signs saying that you cannot be on your phone so I only had it in my hand and was embarrassed when I was yelled at in front of everyone. He later yelled at me for stopping on the wall to tell my friend something. He yelled something and I looked away because I did not think he was talking to me only to hear "that's right, I'm talking to you." RUDE! First, he skated very fast all night and easily could've came to me to say something instead of yelling across the room. He also could've been more polite and understanding about it. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered some chicken tenders and as I was eating them the middle seemed uncooked and raw. Nasty! My friend got some Fries and they tasted soggy. Their ketchup pump was hardly working and squirted out the ketchup all over. I was also very disappointed that the ice cream machine wasn't working. The SkyMaze was fun but very understaffed and dangerous. They should have you sign a waiver before going on it as well as having a weight limit. Younger children could easily fall through as well. And it was not nearly as fun as the website made it sound. The ONE worker in the SkyMaze also just sat on their phone and was not watching the kids. The laser tag was decent but very touchy. I had to find a worker three times while playing because my vest would shut off from me accidentally hitting my gun on myself. It was fun but it isn't the best laser tag in the northwest Ohio area. Nothing compared to Q-Zar. It smelled very bad in certain parts of the building and little to none of the arcade games worked. The walls of the entire SkyMaze area were very unappealing and seemed to be made of garbage bags. NOT professional. Will not be coming back. read more

Awful place, wanted to take the kids to do paintball for spring break. Called three times doing the week to get information, no one could answer questions. Was told the owner could but the owner never comes into the shop and after leaving my information several times the owner still never called back. Showed up to do paintball, people were unhelpful and owner was once again not there. Place was deserted even though it was open and in the middle of the day. Employees were not helpful. I live less than 5 minutes away from here and I think it is awesome to have a recreational type place near where I live. However, my experience this time was AWFUL. They didn't turn on the air conditioning! It was so hot in there and it's the middle of June! The food is very expensive for what you are getting. Right now due to COVID, they are doing 3 hour sessions. I was unaware of this when I came. There was a little over 1.5 hours left in the session when I arrived. To be able to do roller skating, laser tag, and the sky maze, IT WAS $42 FOR 2 PEOPLE! I asked if that included the next session and the answer was no, you would have to pay full price again! Before the COVID situation happened, all day on Saturday was around $25 a person for everything (I think the whole day was around 10 hours or so). You're being charged almost the same price for only 3 hours! I will not go back until the prices are reasonable. DO NOT SPEND THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR THIS!!! read more

We had a group of 6 people go last night to Funagins to paintball zombies. It was $18 a person, but they trick you. There's an "intermission" in between 2 "zombie killing fields". They tell you to use up your paintballs in the 1st field & you'll refill before the 2nd field. However, they don't tell you until right before you go to the 2nd field that you can only refill if you pay an additional $10! So either you pay $28 per person or end up paying $18 per person & end up just sitting on the truck, watching others shoot zombies for the 2nd field. Lots of fun, but very sneaky how its set up. read more

Went for the Zombie Hunt. They were unorganized and late. The whole thing lasted half the time advertised. They stopped the ride so you could buy more paintballs when you obviously were not going to have time to use them. $40 for about 15 mins of zombie hunting. They obviously do well and time and money are spent on the place. Maybe their other games are better. Sorry. This was just Not worth it for us. I wouldn't do it again. read more

You'd think at $40 a head (times 8 guys) and a day spent paint-balling would add up to the ultimate birthday party, right?!! Think again! Warzone Paintgames advertised 6 FULL hours (noon to 6pm) of playtime, equipment rental and 500 bullets for $40 per person (not a small price compared to other birthday options). We arrived to find they had no electricity. Although they did have a generator running as well as outdoor courses available, they were not willing to make ANY concessions. When they finally started registering people (who had to wait nearly 2 hours) they offered no discount whatsoever, seemed offended we even asked, and blamed it on "circumstances beyond their control"...well, the lack of power was certainly not MY fault either to be penalized and charged FULL PRICE although 25% was taken away from us. The people there were very rude. I honestly don't understand how some people get away with treating customers the way they do and still manage to stay in business. They did not recognize that we were the patrons (paying them very good money). The atmosphere was more of a "good ole boys" club and any newbies or non-regulars were treated like crap. My son and his friend were all assigned condescending nicknames by the referees and ridiculed most of the 4 remaining hours of play they were given. However, the employees don't appear to be happy either. When I picked the boys up, they said the employees were complaining that they only get paid for 1 out of every 5 days they work and they get paid in equipment not money so they plan on quitting. I almost forgot to mention the fact that their equipment is TERRIBLE; the 6 boys who used their masks couldn't see a thing the entire time because the plastic shield was so badly scratched up. Then, the referees were yelling orders at them that they couldn't complete because they couldn't see...the refs even threatened to have them removed for the day if they didn't follow the orders. The two boys who brought their own facemasks had no problem seeing so I know it was just a problem with Warzone's rental equipment being in very poor shape. The big kicker happened when one of the kids turned in his equipment at the end of the day and the worker forgot to mark it off so they were refusing to return a driver's license. Eventually they discovered THEIR mistake and finally gave the license back. I could go on and on with the numerous stories of the day but I will just summarize it by saying this was a HUGE disappointment for the large amount of money we paid to entertain my son and his friends on his birthday. We will chalk this one up to a very bad learning experience and NEVER go back! read more
