We always have here. It is clean and the staff are friendly. Last time we went most of the arcade games were not working.

We recently visited with some friends for a shared birthday brunch…read more First off, the food was... ok? All of the temps were way wrong on all 5 of our burgers, but we enjoyed the sides. Nothing to write home about and nothing to go out of your way to seek out. The atmosphere is fun and super kid friendly. Strike that, it's way-way-way too kid friendly for a weekend brunch and unfortunately, lots of parents have figured that out. If you're cool with kids running all around your table while you're trying to eat poorly cooked food, cool. Me? Not so much... Service was friendly but the joint was severely understaffed.

So this is "Toledo's Barcade?" Really? Well, we can do better. We can do a shitload better…read more First the positives: the food, the beer, the service, and the atmosphere. The food is very good; it's from Bar 145 next door...build-it-yourself burgers, specialty burgers, creative and tasty appetizers, soups, etc...it's all here. There's also a abbreviated, "late-night" version of the menu that still includes pretty good options. The beer selection is excellent, and the self serve, pay-by-the-ounce-taps are a great idea. The service is hit or miss, but it's usually pretty good. Also, Reset now allows kids to come in before 7pm, (and later if they're not too busy). The atmosphere is fun, nostalgic and very "80s oriented." So far, so good, right? WRONG...the main reason to come here, is the retro gaming, and the gaming sucks. It sucks ass. There are relatively few games, and the games that are present are pretty standard stuff. But the real problem is that almost every game is in shitty condition, and, they seem to be getting shittier by the week. They're set on free play? So what. I'd think that the cost of the games is built into the price of the food/alcohol. Besides, if the games are "unplayable," (that's only a slight exaggeration), then they might as well not be there. Rather than walk away from a free game that, frustratingly, malfunctions, I'd prefer to pay a quarter and actually play! In order to be a viable entertainment option (especially for adults who appreciate retro-gaming), Reset really needs to pump a little money into their games. The way it is currently, I don't think there is any reason to come to the arcade side of the operation. Eat at Bar 145, and then go elsewhere.

1 Star Review I…read moredon't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience deserves it. The manager, customer service, and client relations are all extremely unprofessional. I hosted a party about a month ago and paid in advance for 15 kids. I was told that I could receive a refund for any kids who didn't attend. Only 10 kids showed up. When I asked the manager for a refund, he suddenly claimed their policy only allows refunds for 2 kids -- which is not what I was told. I didn't argue and agreed to the refund for 2. He assured me that the refund was processed, but I never received it. I've called customer service (who said they don't handle refunds) and was told to call client relations -- but they never answer, and you can only leave voicemails that no one returns. I've done this multiple times over the past month with no response and no refund. This is terrible business. Communication and honesty are everything when it comes to customer service, and they failed on every level. Do not book a party here!

We heard Bar Rescue featured Pat and Dandy's earlier this year. We went on a Thurday evening due to…read morethe daily special of Prime Rib. We arrived just before 6:30 and the exterior still looked much the same as the last time we stopped in several months ago. Walking into the restaurant/bar area, that also still looked much the same. When we said we were interested in the daily special prime rib, we were told they had nothing below medium on the doneness scale. What? It was only 6:30! We were also told we could not substitute for the baked potato. Needless to say, we both changed our minds because medium rare is the only way to go with steaks / prime rib, and neither one of us wanted a baked potato. I figured I would order the NY Strip (only steak choice on the menu) medium rare (so I could have done to my liking), with a side salad and steak fries. The other meal was the smothered chicken with coleslaw. When my food was presented, it was a thinner cut steak more on the medium - medium well range. Definitely not a medium rare and there were only 5 or 6 Steak Fries. We both commented on the way home the food was not all that great. I am saying this because we typically purchase Grass-Fed and Grass-Finished beef and pastured free-range chicken. The taste of these meat products is night and day difference compared to commercially raised beef and chicken. Much cleaner tasting and I don't feel bloated after having a steak dinner - like I do now.
