Brought our 6 yr old horse riding son for his 1st 30 mins lesson. The ladies were so good with him and made him feel so comfortable with the horse. He learned how to brush and care for the horse before and after the ride. The horse was so good for our son's 1st time learning to ride. Priceless memories and he's already asking to go back. Would recommend for all ages.

Fun with horses is a great program. The horses they have a sweet and very good with kids. The instructors are great with kids as well. My daughter took riding lessons there for months and she enjoyed every minute of it. We will definitely be back again to take more lessons. Thank you for the amazing experience!

I booked a 30 minute appointment for my 3 y.o. which was the perfect amount and she loved it so much, My son is 6 and he did the hour. I was just thinking I was booking a horseback lesson but we got so much more. He loved the whole experience. They prepped the horse and did all the steps went over all the equipment and all the rules. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. Phenomenal experience! I will be going back for a summer camp.

We found fun with horses on a approved vendor list for our homeschool over the summer and my daughter was so excited to start her lessons. We started this September and today was her 2nd lesson.... I'm am very happy we found Cheryl and her staff they are so friendly, patient and understanding. My daughter has autism and they are very patient with her and explain everything to her. Today she improved so much from her 1st session last week and I just can't wait to see her improvement in a couple months.

Some of my favorite horses and people at fun with horses! The young man in the picture is one of our amazing volunteers.

Maybe I have seen too many movies with horses, but I find them to be such beautiful, graceful creatures. I imagined what it would be like to go riding and when I saw the Groupon for Fun With Horses, I jumped at the chance (and bargain) to learn how to ride locally here in Orange County! To make a reservation, you can call/text (949) 285-5286 or email funwithhorse@yahoo.com. It was an easy process and I arrived the day of my lesson. (Keep your eyes open, I definitely drove by this place and missed the entrance.) Parking is available in front of the stables. Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow enough time to complete paperwork. I brought my own bike helmet; otherwise I would have had to pay $15 to RENT a helmet. My solo session was on a weekday afternoon. A nice woman taught me about horsemanship, safety, how to halter, groom, saddle and basic riding. All riding is held in a fenced in arena...YOU WILL NOT GO ON A TRAIL. The picture on Groupon is false! Also be prepared to be "instructed" by very young staff members. It's all fun and games until you are up close and personal with a 1500 pound (still beautiful) animal who might crush your foot. I think horses can sense fear, but I don't think they can smell pee. I would estimate that 20 minutes were spent grooming the horse I believe is named James? Jimmy? & 30 minutes were spent learning how to ride with the remaining 10 minutes used to unsaddle and clean him again. Near the very end of my "lesson" my horse was spooked by a few other animals walking near the stables. I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes while I envisioned him throwing me off but luckily the woman was able to calm him down. I left grateful to be alive and with extremely sore legs. Overall, it's a meh experience and tolerable because I saved money buying through Groupon. If you're an adult, I suggest going elsewhere.

Janelle, Laura, and Heidi all work to ensure that riders have a safe and fun experience while learning how to work with a 1000 animal with a highly tuned flight reflex. Attitude is everything. If you want to take instagram post photos and not learn a thing, this may not be the barn for you. If you're genuinely interested in learning how to ride -- English Discipline, Western Discipline -- Reign Equine is a great place to start! Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional, Unethical, and Unresponsive!…read more I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Nohl Ranch Saddle club; previously known as Anaheim Hills Saddle Club. After paying $2000 upfront, I was only there for two days before deciding to leave for another ranch due to the owner's rude, racist and unprofessional behavior. On my second day, the owner spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner, making me feel entirely unwelcome. When I decided to leave, I requested my $2000 back, as I had barely utilized their services. Shockingly, they refused to issue a refund. Left with no other option, I took the matter to court. The judge ruled fully in my favor, yet despite the legal decision, they have failed to respond or return my money. This shows a blatant disregard for both their customers and the law. I strongly advise anyone considering this club to be aware of their unethical business practices. My experience has been deeply frustrating, from the poor treatment I received to the lack of accountability and professionalism in resolving the situation. Additionally, I did my research and found a large history of extremely horrendous behavior from the owners, management and staff. I posted in an Orange County Equestrian Facebook Forum and had an overwhelming 40+ individuals reach out with horrid stories from boarding here. Boarders beware! Avoid this place at all costs!
