They were super responsive and I was able to book lessons on the same day. My kids had a lot of fun and the instructors were patient.

We have had a wonderful experience at Magikid Robotics Lab in Diamond Bar! My son has been taking…read morerobotics and coding classes here, and he absolutely loves it. The classes are engaging, creative, and a great way for kids to learn STEM skills while having fun. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and do a great job encouraging kids to think creatively, solve problems, and build confidence. We have seen my son become more interested in technology and excited about learning. We highly recommend Magikid Robotics Lab in Diamond Bar to any parents looking for a fun and educational program for their children!

I found this place and was surprised I hadn't heard of it since he's been going to school in DB for…read more5 yrs. Decided to send my 9 yr old son to a trial coding and robotics class. Usually the first class is free but I did pay $30 - $40 for each trial class. My son didn't like the robotics class at all. He said the instructor was having a hard time keeping the kids engaged or on task. He also said the classroom was dirty and there were not enough parts or components so they had to get some from other rooms. As a new trial student you would think the instructor would give some background or guidance but he said there was no explanation or instruction from the instructor on what was going on. She was just helping kids that needed help or find parts for them. He knew one of the other kids in the class so he just sat next to him and observed (not sure why I had to pay for him to just sit & observe). He was supposed to take the coding class right after, but he was already done and didn't want to go back inside. We went after school on a Friday so he was already tired. Since I already paid for both trials, I rescheduled the coding class. They were very accommodating & rescheduled us a couple of times. He said this coding class was much better and the instructor was better. All the coding was done on the computer. My impression from the 3 times I walked in was it's chaotic: kids darting here and there and some parents picking up their kids. There are tables with robotics and coding plaques or instruments by the entrance and hallways, cluttered & dusty. The 2 young gals there were very nice but just sitting at their desks looking at their computer monitors amidst the chaos. They didn't ask him how the trial class went. Didn't seem organized or clean. I had high hopes with all the 5 star reviews on yelp but was not impressed. It's in a narrow and long strip mall with different businesses: a dentist and 2 - 3 other tutoring type afterschool places. Looks like a lot of local kids hang out after school. My son has gone to a dozen or so lego, coding and robotics camps over the last 2 summers and he said he prefers those classes/camps.

The dedicated staff provides intentional, personalized instruction in small class settings, ensuring each student's individual needs are met. The engaging, challenging curriculum encourages students to think critically, explore new ideas, and develop a love of learning. The OLS Summer Program is also well organized, with academics in the morning and fun enrichment activities in the afternoon. Parents have the convenience of purchasing a school-provided lunch for a small fee, with options such as Panda Express, Subway, McDonald's, and Chipotle. OLS is a great choice for families looking for a supportive, engaging, and enriching learning environment year-round.

This summer, we learned that our daughter was disciplined by being made to stand against the wall as a "time out" for running around the center. This was never disclosed to us as part of the school's discipline policy, and we were not informed at the time it happened, we only found out because our daughter mentioned it. Even more concerning, our daughter told us another child was made to stand against the wall as well, and was reportedly told "who told you you could sit down" when he tried to sit. We don't know every detail of that second incident, but if true, it points to a culture of discipline that relies on humiliation and intimidation rather than positive guidance. We've reported this formally and are waiting on a response. A call was promised today (7/2/26) however, I have not received a call yet. Until we see real accountability and a change in disciplinary practices, we can't recommend this school anymore.

I wanted to do a follow up post- because the owner left a comment on my original post that said as…read moresoon as they were made aware of HFMD they notified parents- this was NOT true. In fact an immediate search of their school on the Orange County child licensed care website shows my allegation was sustained. If you're looking for honesty, this school is not it. And I'm sure like my last post there will all of a sudden be five random perfect reviews but remember if something seems weird it usually is. This school owes it to me to fully reimburse my one week of tuition that I paid. I highly recommend the other contact me- you have my info. Besides my own violation that is now on their official report I saw that another parent also recently reported them just be aware.

I would proceed carefully and with my eyes wide open about all feedback (good and bad) relating to…read morethis school. I pulled my child out after an incident where the director and ownership were not truthful to me about the circumstances of how my daughter was injured. It was crushing to feel that the village that supported me and which I relied on when my daughter was an infant would misrepresent facts to me. To be clear, this was not the first time she has been injured at the school - kids get hurt, whether at school or at home. The situation that led us to leave the school was different because what they told me about how she was hurt did not match her actual injuries and it was the second incident resulting in injury near her eye that happened around the same time the students were moved around in the morning to their assigned classrooms. On the same day of her injury, she came home with twigs shoved in the straw of her clear water bottle. The overall picture is that the staff that day just were not watching the kids closely. Check the state licensing page for recent complaints filed about them relating to their infant room and preschool room. I also have screenshots and evidence of the admin telling me stories different from what actually happened, which was documented on video. I have had a positive experience until this year (2025). That's why I am not removing my original post. However, when my daughter moved to the 2-year-old room and it was not great, and we moved her after this incident. The staff has high turnover and are not set up for success. I am not sure what has changed during the last year, but things have changed and not for the better. If you are part of a local parent group on FB, I would encourage you to look at discussions about local daycares to see unfiltered feedback about this school. Again, good and bad. Last but not least, there is video of all the rooms and activity. The footage is not continuously recorded, but it can be retrieved within a certain time frame. This may have changed or they may have changed their systems. But just know that I was told that footage was not available when I asked on the date of the incident. However, when I issued a letter of preservation, the video was suddenly available. It took almost a month for them to finally make it available for me to review. I have all of these communications documented in writing. These actions do not support the claim that they made to me that they are transparent.
