It's by far the warmest pool we could find, and it's the only place where my son happily stays in the water without shivering. Our regular instructor is Mr. Nori, and he has been wonderful with my son. He's patient, encouraging, and fantastic with all of the kids I've seen in his classes. We recently missed a couple of lessons and had to attend makeup classes. For whatever reason, my son suddenly decided he didn't want to go back for his lesson. Miss Kaylee stepped in and was incredible. She tried everything she could to gently encourage him to go to the back pool, but when it became clear he wasn't going to do it, she didn't give up. Instead, she offered to work with him one-on-one in the front pool where we already were. She even promised she wouldn't put his head under the water. In the end, he became comfortable enough that he chose to put his face in the water on his own with her guidance, but she honored her promise and never forced him. That meant so much to me. I don't know if she was on her lunch break, between classes, or supposed to be doing something else, but I know that impromptu private lesson wasn't part of her day. She took the time simply because she cared, and it completely turned the experience around for my son. The best part is that it worked. Today my son happily got back in the water with Mr. Nori, and I honestly think it was his best lesson yet. Mr. Nori was so sweet, so encouraging, and genuinely proud of him. Seeing his confidence come back was such a great moment as a parent, and I really credit both instructors for making that happen. Every single person we've interacted with has been kind, welcoming, patient, and genuinely wonderful with kids. I honestly have not had a single negative experience here. The first class is free, the warm water makes such a difference, and the little splash pad was a huge part of getting my son's initial buy-in. We've been going to this school since they were in Fullerton, and they've always been great. My daughter started with Mr Nori and he's one of her favorite instructors. She's gone through a few instructors and we've never had a bad experience. My son now attends the school too. This morning, my daughter had a make up class and had to go into a different swim lane with a new teacher. She's been apprehensive about leaving her current school and starting kinder next year, and the emotions came out today. She started crying and holding onto me when she saw the new lane and instructor and said she doesn't want new things. Within seconds, Mr Scott came over and began comforting her asking if she'd like to see her other instructor Mayumi. Mayumi wasn't even dressed to go in the water, but rolled up her jeans and sat in another lane with her. Mr Nori came by to say hi and comfort her, and Mr Christopher gave her a private lesson for a few minutes while she adjusted. He eventually asked her if she wanted to join him in the new lane with the new instructor, and she said yes and was happy the rest of the time. Mayumi also came back to check on her. This is the level of care any parent looks for in a school and I highly recommend coming here.

Jewel is the instructor for my younger son, and I can see his improvement every single lesson! Kaylyn teaches my 8-year-old son, and my husband was impressed by how much he has improved. Kaylyn and Jewel are both professional and amazing instructors with kind hearts! I highly recommend them!

Joseph and Kulani have been so patient, kind, and understanding -- they really take the time to make my boys feel safe, comfortable, and proud of themselves in the water. Furthermore, it was indicated that no lessons or instruction would take place and less the degree of temperature was 80° and above I've never heard of this when I've also used professional schools and CPR trained swim instructors that were on swim teams earning medals at the number one high school in California. It's just a little disheartening that I was just treated with such ill regard as to my needs as a client or any considerations on my end. So it was just left as if there was no concern to secure my business again no professional phone call was made or introduction from them. There are two pools. One is used by adults for lap…read moreswimming, as well as swim practice for the older kids. Itʻs in the shape of an L. In the summer, the pool is 50 m, that runs from shallow to deep. There are also a few lanes in the deep end (13 ft) that are 25 yards. In the winter, they reconfigure the lanes so that they are 25 yards (shallow water) and 33 yards (from 7ʻ to 13ʻ). Overall the pool ranges in depth from 4ʻ to 7ʻ and 13.ʻ It is open year round for lap swimming. The other pool is a shallower pool, used primarily for family swim, and swimming for kids in the summer. They also use it for lessons and swim practice for the kids. They have designated hours for public lap swim in the big pool from 12 - 3 PM, M-Sa, and also include Sundays in the summer. Be sure to look for the FAST swim program website in order to reserve and pay for a lane for lap swim. In the summer, the community summer day camp programs come and use the pool, usually from around 11 - 2. There are lifeguards. If you are doing lap swim, itʻs recommended taht you know how to swim. Lap swim tends to be very busy, and most of the people swam in high school or college, many of them during 12 - 3 are older. Basic swim equipment: fins, paddles, kickboards, goggles, are allowed to use as part of your lap swim routine. Swimwear attire. Overall, itʻs a very nice facility. It could use some facility upgrades, like shaded areas where people can towel off in the hot summer months, and where others can wait. It could use more regular cleaning of the locker rooms especially in the summer, when there should be restroom/locker room attendants. It could use more signage, and graphics, and the check in for everyone using the pool should be located near the entrance -in its own building, or a ticket booth. Itʻs a great place.

Their customer service alone is spectacular. They make us feel so welcome when we enter the door, everyone is kind, knowledgeable, and gets to know my kids by first name within the first few visits (very impressive considering 100's to 1000's of kids take lessons each week). They have all the necessities you need and more to feel ready for your child's lesson. The viewing area is my favorite because it's all glass walls, so anywhere you sit, you'll have a good view of your child all while enjoying some hang time while waiting. They sell snacks and drinks and offer coloring pages along with free lollipops to all the kiddos. My personal favorite is how special they make each individual kid feel. With the 1:4 ratio, each kid is seen and gets a personalized lesson to focus on their progress. Once they're done, the coaches take time to talk to each family and share what their child excelled in and what they can work on. If you download their app, you get a weekly report card that shows their progress. And when they've passed their swim level, they announce their name and they get to ring a bell along with a photo that gets posted on a wall for everyone to see and get recognized. One of our favorite Aqua-Tots team members is Ava. Ava was my oldest child's favorite person to see when she attended a few years back. So when we came back with our 2nd child and she immediately remembered us, we knew we were "back at home". She is always so kind to my kids, she greets them and offers hugs, kneels down to talk to them at eye level, helps us out when we're ready to get snacks from the front desk, and makes sure we're taken care of. We look forward to seeing her every week. If you're looking for a place for swim lessons, look no further. This is THE place to go! While it can feel like it's pricy, it truly is worth every penny and more for the safety of your child and the exceptional customer service Aqua-Tots offers.

Communication is poor, emails often go unanswered, and getting assistance with even simple issues like directions has been frustrating. Without consulting us, they changed our lesson location to a private backyard pool, giving families no opportunity to approve or opt for another location. On top of that, my credit card on file has been charged without my authorization, which is completely unacceptable. While the instructors deserve recognition for their work, the administrative experience has been so disappointing that I cannot recommend this program.

He has been very patient with my child and my child was able to build trust with him very quickly! On the other hand, communication with Ms. April has been a terrible experience. She doesn't return your phone call, you can't leave a VM on their phone system because they don't have a VM set up, yet texting them is just a headache. Whoever is responsible for replying back to the text message would reply and let you know that Ms. April will return your call back but that would take 24 hours to a week for Ms. April to get back to you. Emails that Ms. April would send would be very confusing and yet when you reply to the emails she would not respond back to your message. When I confronted her that I had sent her an email she replied "I don't reply to every email." It was constantly very frustrating when I had to cancel my child's swim lessons, I was told I would receive a Makeup token for my child to schedule another swim lesson date, but at times I would not receive anything. It became a headache and also frustrating that I had to keep track of my child's swim lessons and constantly either call or message Ms. April regarding the make up token. It felt like if I didn't remind her to send me a makeup token then my child would have never revived a make up swim lessons. MY biggest disappointment was when she sent an email to all the customers during their winter break that they were moving to a new location. She didn't give us parents a two week notice in advance that they were relocating or even a month to figure out our schedules. At that moment I just realized and made a decision to just close my account with this swim company. My child attended swim lessons from May 2025- December 2025. It was very sad for me to make this decision because I know my child had a good relationship with Mr. Adrian but overall the communication with Ms. April had been nothing but poor and she is just very disorganized.

She asked if there was classes for survival. Luckily I found California Survival School. We were fortunate to have Dan as the instructor. He background is quite extensive and impressive. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I thought my seven year old would get bored with the lecture portion, Dan kept the group engaged throughout. The hand on activities were our favorite, like building a tend properly. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the class and learned essential skills that can be used in everyday situations. Highly recommend the class for any age.

My boyfriend and I love watching survival shows, so we thought it would be a blast to actually learn how to do the stuff they teach you in the episodes. This class was extremely informative, interactive, and a total blast. Great instructor. The class wasn't too big. It was a beautiful place. We loved everything about it! And the part we were looking forward to most was trying to make a fire, which was pretty easy with the instructors guide! This was an awesome class and I would definitely recommend.
