Summer 2025 there is now a tv in the waiting room. I guess that's easier to maintain than the playroom they had before lol

great program that's well run, but clearly varies by instructor - we took lessons over the winter here and could tell the coaches are a little more committed than the ones that are just there for a "summer job".. i like the clearly written out skill progression of the training program, and my kid went from screaming when her face got wet to fully jumping in, doing a back float, swimming back to the edge and getting out of the pool (yay survival skills) - within 7mos of once a week 30min lessons (with a month break in the middle for the holidays so really 6mos?) - we were casually doing it as a consistent weekend activity to learn water safety so no feedback on how it is if you're looking to do an expedited skills upgrade. pool is outside but covered by a tent so it's shaded in the summer, and enclosed during the winter. The beginning group lessons are 4 kids max and there's often a helper coach so it feels pretty individualized.

This is our first swim lessons for son who is 20 months old. It's located inside a neighborhood with plenty of parking. The facility looks clean with an outdoor pool that's covered. When we first came we signed in on the kiosk and got a small tour of the facilities. There is an indoor area where you can sit and wait, a small playroom, out doors is a large pool, showers, bathrooms, and a basketball area. Staff were welcoming and friendly, all smiling! Benny's swim instructor was super nice and sweet her name is Caitlin. Very happy I chose PSA for my son's swim lessons.

    Swim lessons pls!

Lexie and the other instructor we had yesterday (sorry forgot her name but she's in the pic) are good! I've been here 2x and observed the process! In my experience I've never seen an instructor begin with submerging the kids head under water...looks like they gradually work their way there! I've observed other little friends cry and are scared to get into the pool. Recently one little friend was crying and afraid to get in...the instructor handled the situation very well...played in the pool with the little one until he stopped crying and anxiety was ceases! I would feel confident taking my children here! I have multiple might I add different ages! I've come for morning and afternoon sessions and love it! I shall keep you posted after a couple months!

So far, so good. Been taking the kids here for swim lessons and have been happy with the establishment and staff. They have clean amenities and an organized system for getting you started and progressing through the levels. They cater to children and adults, so if you're looking to learn how to swim, I recommend checking out Premier.

I appreciate the fact that the upper management really hands on in solving my scheduling issue…read more Pros: Indoor Instructors quality and patience Online system Great Phone customer service Cons: Costly Complicated online scheduling system Any cancellation will automatically revert to "make-up" class Some lessons are automatically cancelled by the company Limited Male instructors availability Not allowed in the water before the class time. Tips: just try ur best not to reschedule your class time to avoid confusion and misunderstanding of the policy I was glad finding an indoor swimming class, esp since Im a LA FITNESS member. I dont mind the high price too, even thou its almost as expensive my kids' private figure skating/ ice hockey lesson. What i do mind was the frustration from the scheduling system. I purchased 4 lessons package and scheduled my 3 kids lesson back in May. The extra 1 lesson was converted to make up class because I canceled 1 future lesson. A month later i saw the make up lesson was gone, and i was reading the "help" section that I need to pay another class so that the make up credit will be available. In which i did (so now i have 1 make up lesson and 1 paid lesson) I have 3 kids and i want them to have an equal chances to any activity, so i ended up paying 3 extra lessons and scheduled them back to back (at this point i have 1 make up lesson and 4 paid lessons). Next morning, i found out one of the class was cancelled, and i called the customer service. Thankfully she was helpful and she helped me in scheduling my kids lesson around. I wanted to use all of my lessons (paid or make up) so i wont need to worry about this complicated things anymore and will move forward finding other company. When i checked my online account, i noticed some of the classes were marked as make up lesson, and missing one class. I called again, and another rep saying i still have one paid lesson and that make up lesson is way of the company give it for free. How could it be for free when money already taken out from my account? Oh my GOSH. So frustrating! The reason i purchased 4 extra single lessons so that I can save time taking all of them together at the same time frame. Felt that I have to either let one class gone, or purchased more so i can scheduled all of them together again. Its your take, either you want to take in my review or not, but as a single mom with three kids and 2 jobs, dude, i work hard for my money (like anyone else) and for time off work to take them to activities, so I dont appreciate this back and forth confusion and complications. Another cons, as a first timer, we didnt know what to expect and noone greeted us when we arrived. I told my kids to go in 5 min prior to stretch in the water, on the side, so they wouldn't bother others, and that was not allowed. So for more than $29 lesson per 20 min, child should jumped in on the first minute, lesson, and out on the 20th min. The instructors Muna and Christian were good. I appreciate they let me know where my kids were in their skills.

Extremely Disappointed! Don't Waste Your Money…read more As a parent, I had high hopes enrolling my 3-year-old in British Swim School, thinking she'd learn basic water safety and build confidence in the pool. Instead, I spent a significant amount of money watching her sit on the ledge week after week, playing with pool toys and barely participating in any actual swim instruction. My daughter was clearly uncomfortable and scared of the water, which I voiced to multiple instructors over the course of the program. Unfortunately, no one seemed to care or offer any kind of personalized support or strategy to help her overcome that fear. It felt like the staff was going through the motions with no real investment in the kids' progress. If you're a parent of a toddler or young child looking for a swim program that actually teaches safety and swimming skills with patience and structure this is not it. I would strongly recommend exploring other swim schools before committing to British Swim School. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.

Usually the first class is free but I did pay $30 - $40 for each trial class. My son didn't like the robotics class at all. He said the instructor was having a hard time keeping the kids engaged or on task. He also said the classroom was dirty and there were not enough parts or components so they had to get some from other rooms. As a new trial student you would think the instructor would give some background or guidance but he said there was no explanation or instruction from the instructor on what was going on. She was just helping kids that needed help or find parts for them. He knew one of the other kids in the class so he just sat next to him and observed (not sure why I had to pay for him to just sit & observe). He was supposed to take the coding class right after, but he was already done and didn't want to go back inside. We went after school on a Friday so he was already tired. Since I already paid for both trials, I rescheduled the coding class. They were very accommodating & rescheduled us a couple of times. He said this coding class was much better and the instructor was better. All the coding was done on the computer. My impression from the 3 times I walked in was it's chaotic: kids darting here and there and some parents picking up their kids. There are tables with robotics and coding plaques or instruments by the entrance and hallways, cluttered & dusty. The 2 young gals there were very nice but just sitting at their desks looking at their computer monitors amidst the chaos. They didn't ask him how the trial class went. Didn't seem organized or clean. I had high hopes with all the 5 star reviews on yelp but was not impressed. It's in a narrow and long strip mall with different businesses: a dentist and 2 - 3 other tutoring type afterschool places. Looks like a lot of local kids hang out after school. My son has gone to a dozen or so lego, coding and robotics camps over the last 2 summers and he said he prefers those classes/camps.
