After one class I feel our son learned a whole lot. Already looking into signing him up for his next set of lessons. This is a beautiful facility and loved watching our son learn and interact with the instructor. I was worried that our son would not pick up a whole lot since there was so many kids, however the instructors split up the class and spent a good amount of time with each kid. Great program that West Covina offers. I would highly recommend to anyone that is considering. Prior to this swim class I signed our son up elsewhere, and our son did not learn anything and the instructor at the time had zero patience and had terrible social skills. 0 star. Unprofessional and unfair…read more Before going on vacation, I spoke to the front desk in person and was clearly told my son's classes were paused. It was confirmed to me on the spot. When we returned, they claimed no pause was ever placed and marked all classes as "used" due to no-shows. The same staff member then denied what she had confirmed. No calls, no follow-up--just charged through the entire package. The owner refused any credit or resolution. Their slipper policy is also inconsistent and unhygienic--some people walk in with outdoor footwear, while others are required to wear shared, non-disposable slippers. Poor communication, no accountability, and zero customer care. Would not return.

Tips: just try ur best not to reschedule your class time to avoid confusion and misunderstanding of the policy I was glad finding an indoor swimming class, esp since Im a LA FITNESS member. I dont mind the high price too, even thou its almost as expensive my kids' private figure skating/ ice hockey lesson. What i do mind was the frustration from the scheduling system. I purchased 4 lessons package and scheduled my 3 kids lesson back in May. The extra 1 lesson was converted to make up class because I canceled 1 future lesson. A month later i saw the make up lesson was gone, and i was reading the "help" section that I need to pay another class so that the make up credit will be available. In which i did (so now i have 1 make up lesson and 1 paid lesson) I have 3 kids and i want them to have an equal chances to any activity, so i ended up paying 3 extra lessons and scheduled them back to back (at this point i have 1 make up lesson and 4 paid lessons). Next morning, i found out one of the class was cancelled, and i called the customer service. Thankfully she was helpful and she helped me in scheduling my kids lesson around. I wanted to use all of my lessons (paid or make up) so i wont need to worry about this complicated things anymore and will move forward finding other company. When i checked my online account, i noticed some of the classes were marked as make up lesson, and missing one class. I called again, and another rep saying i still have one paid lesson and that make up lesson is way of the company give it for free. How could it be for free when money already taken out from my account? Oh my GOSH. So frustrating! The reason i purchased 4 extra single lessons so that I can save time taking all of them together at the same time frame. Felt that I have to either let one class gone, or purchased more so i can scheduled all of them together again. Its your take, either you want to take in my review or not, but as a single mom with three kids and 2 jobs, dude, i work hard for my money (like anyone else) and for time off work to take them to activities, so I dont appreciate this back and forth confusion and complications. Another cons, as a first timer, we didnt know what to expect and noone greeted us when we arrived. I told my kids to go in 5 min prior to stretch in the water, on the side, so they wouldn't bother others, and that was not allowed. So for more than $29 lesson per 20 min, child should jumped in on the first minute, lesson, and out on the 20th min. The instructors Muna and Christian were good. I appreciate they let me know where my kids were in their skills.

Don't Waste Your Money…read more As a parent, I had high hopes enrolling my 3-year-old in British Swim School, thinking she'd learn basic water safety and build confidence in the pool. Instead, I spent a significant amount of money watching her sit on the ledge week after week, playing with pool toys and barely participating in any actual swim instruction. My daughter was clearly uncomfortable and scared of the water, which I voiced to multiple instructors over the course of the program. Unfortunately, no one seemed to care or offer any kind of personalized support or strategy to help her overcome that fear. It felt like the staff was going through the motions with no real investment in the kids' progress. If you're a parent of a toddler or young child looking for a swim program that actually teaches safety and swimming skills with patience and structure this is not it. I would strongly recommend exploring other swim schools before committing to British Swim School. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience from start to finish.

By the end of my second lesson, I was able to swim across the pool, a personal milestone I wouldn't have reached before due to fear. The pool is in a residential home backyard and is covered/heated so it's weather appropriate all year round. Although the pool is smaller than your average gym pool, there's usually only 1-2 lessons at at time so you don't have to dodge other people like you would at most swim schools. The cardio equipment upstairs are all brand new and they've replaced the bball court (sad) with 8 multipurpose squat racks and more glute machines. It's an upgrade in terms of strength training. The bathrooms are also clean and lockers were all replaced. If they can fix their guest pass policy and maintain the cleanliness throughout the year, they may earn 4 stars.

We trained again. He did message me down the line he couldn't train me anymore to find a new trainer . I just think is very unprofessional of him were he could leave he's relationship and training aside . Unless u want to deal with a jealousy wife or gf u would have to deal with that . I'm very confident of myself so I don't know what issue it was . Overall he's a good trainer . Just not professional when it comes to clients
