Ms. Kate is a fabulous instructor. I loved her passion, targeted feedback and how she helped my son work towards each objective she had set. I have been a special needs teacher for almost 20 years so I know a good teacher when I see one.

More importantly, swimming is such an essential life-saving skill, and we wanted them to build confidence in the water. The staff has been absolutely amazing so patient, encouraging, and wonderful with our kids. During our time here, our son advanced two levels, and our daughter moved up one. I really appreciated that they only promote children once they've truly mastered the skills for their current level, rather than rushing them through. Our son had Xyler as his instructor, and he was fantastic. Our daughter worked with several instructors, and every one of them was great, but she especially loved Kaitlyn and Evelyn. Scheduling is also incredibly convenient. It's easy to cancel or reschedule lessons, and they have a very reasonable and forgiving cancellation policy. Plus they offer sibling and first responder discounts! From the front desk to the instructors, everyone has been kind, professional, and genuinely invested in the kids' success. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you to the entire team for helping our children build such an important skill and making it such a positive experience!

No one contacted us beforehand, and the trip ended up being a complete waste of our time. Then, at my next appointment, they changed my swim instructor without notifying me. After these issues, I was told the manager would call me back on Monday to discuss my concerns. It is now Friday, and I still have not received a call. When you're paying for swim lessons, you expect professionalism, reliability, and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope they improve their scheduling, communication, and customer service so other families don't have to go through the same experience.

This is a review of the City Swim lessons offered at this facility…read more My kids ages 6 and 4 now have been taking summer classes here since they were 6mos old. We are not local residents and actually live 2 towns over, but we make the drive for how consistent the classes are. They are also a great value, when you compare it to other places (YMCA). Mommy and Me classes are basic: nursery rhyme singing, blowing bubbles, floating, kicking etc. Great introduction for tots and babies. The value really is in familiarizing the kids with water. (I only saw the value recently, now that my kids are older and accustomed to swimming with instructors etc). We did private swim, one week for $99 (M-F 30mins sessions each day. One on one with a swim instructor) two summers ago, and we saw a BIG improvement in our son's performance. He had learned ice scream scoops and kicking well. Good knowledge base at 4.5 years old, but still needed close supervision while in the pool. Last summer, we invested in two weeks of private swim per child, and it was very expensive but worth every cent. The two weeks really reinforced technique and now my son is a confident swimmer. My daughter has a great foundation, and perhapds this summer she will master it as well. I saw the most progress in private swim since the attention is fully on the child and not split amongst multiple kids. All the instructors have been wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and work well with kids.

From the moment you walk through the front door, it's clear that this organization is exceptionally well run. The facility is spotless, organized, and welcoming, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. You immediately get the sense that your children are in capable hands. Our beginning instructors, Miss Gabby and Miss Abby, have been absolutely outstanding. We have two energetic little boys who can definitely keep adults on their toes, yet both instructors have shown incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. They greet our boys with genuine smiles, keep them engaged throughout the lesson, and create an environment where the kids feel both safe and excited to learn. What has impressed me most is their ability to balance a confident command presence with exceptional customer service. They know how to maintain structure and keep the lesson moving while still making each child feel encouraged and successful. That combination is rare, and it's a testament to the quality of instructors RSL hires and develops. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than watching people genuinely care about your children while helping them build an important life skill. After only two lessons, we've already seen confidence beginning to grow, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll at RSL Aquatics. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I absolutely would. We wholeheartedly recommend RSL Aquatics to any family looking for a clean, professional, well-organized swim program with instructors who truly care about their students. We are excited to continue watching our boys learn and grow here!

Things I liked: Your child will SWIM. I think my kids legs…read morefelt like rubber the first day because the philosophy here in both the intermediate and advanced is to just keep swimming! The pool is huge and the instructors send them back and forth over and over! Endurance seems to be the main philosophy. Some of the instructors are very engaging, overall everyone is pretty friendly! Things I noticed Safety is not a huge priority. There is no one on deck keeping an eye out for things the instructors may miss. The first day of class, and multiple after, my kids instructor walked into the building telling the other instructor of the other class to "keep an eye" to which he just kind of laughed and went back to the class he was teaching. Meanwhile she had 4 swimmers in the pool in other lanes behind and the instructor of the other class was faced away from them the entire time. That was my 7 year olds first or second day in the class. I had seen this sort of thing a lot, their instructor would chat with a students mom who was seated in the upper level, she'd face away from the students and just chat. By the 4th class I was ready to let the office know, but then the owner came outside, and held a conversation with the instructor the same way, her back away from the swimmers. My swimmer had been introduced to all of the strokes but I enrolled him to improve his form. He'd taken other classes where there was an emphasis on that. What I found is that there is very little instruction in the advanced class, the students are sent on back and forth several times but only upon request will they be critiqued or given better techniques. It is more like someone standing there somewhat keeping an eye on them and telling them to swim 400 or what not. At one point they had the owner, and at another, her husband and like I mentioned at another point, the other instructor in the other class, "take over" with instructions like "they're doing kickbaord" or "have them do bla" They are not very organized. First day of class the instructor was 5 minutes late. After that the advanced class had multiple people take over. The intermediate class had a lot more consistency, but one of the days Alexis (she did a great job) had to ask the owners husband where her secondary was. She came out a few minutes later , while the class was sorta on hold Things I'm not sure on: The young kids aren't taught to rest float. I've liked other places teach this, in the case that the child knows how to swim but doesn't have energy to get back to shore, or the edge of a pool for whatever reason. I once almost drowned as a kid in a pool right in the middle, I had slowly but surely run out of energy and not noticed til I couldn't keep my head above water. My brother pushed me to the edge. That being said, the rest float is a hard position to get into, so I kinda understand why they don't teach it‍ Overall, i think my kids are stronger swimmers and I'd possibly come back next summer since I trust my kids and I'm keeping an eye the entire time. Its $35 for 30 minutes (so 8 classes comes out to $280) Alexis was very encouraging in the intermediate class and each of the intermediate instructors really pushed the kids, and encouraged them, which I really appreciated:) oh and one more thing, I loved that at the intermediate level, there are two instructors to 4 students! That's a really nice ratio

Went for the recreation swimming, complete waste of time & money, thankfully it was only $5, so not much money wasted. Swimming facilities are ok, nothing special. But if your young child can't swim yet, don't even bother wasting your time. They micromanage you with a bunch of rules. No life jackets allowed which is INSANE. Front desk lady tried to gaslight me & say that's a normal policy in most places which it is NOT. She needs to get out more. I've been all across the country & not one other places I've been to has ever had that rule, in fact it's the opposite in most places--non-swimmers are REQUIRED to wear them. So basically my kid couldn't do anything but sit there hanging on the edge of the pool. I tried to walk around the pool with her on my back, again, like I do everywhere else & they said I can't do that either. I couldn't swim cuz I had to watch my child at all times just hanging on the edge of the pool. Not fun at all. Locked rooms are only 18+, so couldn't use that either cuz my kid is with me. Just a bunch of pointless weird rules & micromanaging that doesn't exist anywhere else I've ever seen. Save your money & time & go somewhere else. We ended up just going to raging waters where we have season passes, she can wear life jackets allowed, & we have way more fun.
