Our son started Parent & Me classes at RSL when he was 9 months old. We initially enrolled because we had an upcoming vacation and wanted him to feel comfortable in the water. What started as a positive and enjoyable experience gradually became more challenging for him. He began to struggle--regressing at times, crying during lessons, and frequently reaching for us for comfort. At one point, we were asked to step inside to help him focus without distraction. It was heartbreaking to see how difficult it had become for him, and after some tough weekends, we were close to giving up. However, Rene, Dave and their team encouraged us to stay consistent and trust the process. We took their advice, and within a couple of weeks, everything changed, he began enjoying the water again. Now, at almost 2 years old, he's moved up to the beginner level. He gets so excited that we have to remind him to walk around the pool instead of running in! Watching him progress, splash, kick, and make friends has made weekends fun again. Rene, Dave, and their team are incredible coaches who truly care. They didn't give up on our son and made sure we didn't either. I highly recommend RSL--they are knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely want the best for every child. I've seen similar experiences with other kids, and my advice is the same: trust the process. Always great instructors and staff in general. Always willing to answer questions. They are all calm and patient even with children that are a little spirited and communicate with each parent. Would love for more parents to teach their children water safety and not be on their phones during lessons or using it as a time to get together with their friends. read more

Do not pass go, do not sign your kids up for any other swim school...RSL is simply the best. We tried lessons at 3+ other places, before finally trying RSL to see what all the hype was about. They had both of our kids swimming within the first few lessons. (Whereas those other places seemed to just have them kicking short distances, etc) They make it fun for the kids with games and jumps. After various sessions throughout over a year, my kids were confident enough to swim in the ocean and pool during our Hawaiian vacation. Do yourself a favor and invest in their services. The environment from the second you walk in is very clean and organized. The employees genuinely seem to care about the people they are teaching, and our son has absolutely loved going to swim class here. We are in the process of getting him out of the swim floaty's and swimming safely on his own and he has really enjoyed his classes here. They keep the class sizes small enough to give the kids personal attention and really improve at a fast rate. We will continue to come here and just wanted to leave them a good review as it's a family owned business and we love being able to support that. We absolutely LOVE RSL Aquatics. We have been coming to RSL for the last 3 summers. Our daughter fell in love with swimming starting at age 3 when we started her in parent and me classes. She soon moved into beginners and then to intermediate! We saw SO much growth in her skills in just 2 weeks. We are starting our 3 year old son this coming summer in his beginners class since he graduated from parent and me last summer. We can't wait to see our babies in the water again. Everyone here is so friendly and kind. The facility is beautiful and well kept. My daughter has really enjoyed her swim lessons. Couple areas of opportunity... When you have new clients, please make sure to go over the reenrollment month-to-month. I myself was not told that I had to continuously Signed her up for each month. I thought maybe it was just me, but I referred my friend who has two children now attending and she also had no idea. Luckily my schedule is more flexible than hers, but if I didn't tell her that she needed to re-enroll her children the following month the days of the week she selected might've been sold out and she has a very demanding schedule. So I think just a little better communication would be super helpful so that we can keep attending at the days/times that are convenient. I do appreciate that they have a waitlist and very thankful I got a phone call when a spot opened up at the time that better suited us. But other than that, no complaints. I look forward to my daughter attending at least until summer when we can practice on our own and then resuming once the weather cools down... My daughter says the pool is nice and warm and doesn't hesitate to get in even on cold rainy days. There's plenty of space for parents to sit and watch, and even the bathrooms are absolutely adorable! I also really appreciate that there is no contract so if you sign up and it's not for you or you need to take pause, you definitely can without being penalized or further charged. read more

I have to come back and update my review. We've been with RSL since January. Instructor Rene is the best, she had my little guy swimming within the week! It was mind blowing for us because we tried Aqua tots in Rancho Cucamonga (we were there for months) and he couldn't get past the "floating phase" which meant he couldn't move on. It felt like a waste of time and money there. Today, my son is in the advance class and has the skill and endurance to swim for the entire hour of class. We're are looking forward to a summer without float devices. RSL has brought our family confidence and joy. This is hands down the BEST swimming school around here. I love how they have a 1 to 3 ratio and the lessons are well planned out. The twice a week classes are way more effective than once a week classes for learning how to swim. Before starting here last Aug, my child was one who would cry because someone jumped in the pool and splashed water on her face. On the first class, all the kids had to learn to jump in the pool safely... and that quickly became her favorite thing to do. I was so surprised and loved the no B.S. approach. It only took one session for my child to be promoted to intermediate class! I have seen multiple times that kids got moved up mid-session because they were ready. It is important to me that swimming schools don't keep the kids longer in the same level just for the money. RSL promotes kids when they are ready and I love that I was able to see that! Ms. Rene was so patient when I had questions regarding progress and how to help my child make improvements. read more

WORST PLACE EVER! Ms. Emma physically hurt my son during a lesson. She pulled and pinched my sons arm so hard that it left a mark. She was verbally abusive to him as well. I requested to be seen by another instructor and the owner, Rene, refused to let another instructor teach him. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! I brought my 2.5 year old here to get comfortable with the water and learn to go underwater. Saw they had good reviews, had good pricing, and were just down the street from me so decided to give it a try. He was shy and nervous at first. He would tell Tammy at the front desk every day "I don't want to do it", but every time he was in the water he was doing what the instructors told him to and ended up loving it. By the 4th session he was saying "I'm going to be a big boy" and looked forward to swimming with Natalie and Kendra. They were great with him and I loved how much Natalie would push him to try new things. The staff was so great and they even went out of their way to get some videos for us moms in the Parent & Me class since our hands were full! This place is like nothing I've ever seen before!!! the Y and premier along with other places look so inferior after seeing this place. it looks like a doctors office right when you walk in it's so clean and smells so good. I took a tour today and this young gentleman named I believe Noah. He was so nice telling me about how his family started from nothing and made this amazing place. SO happy with our experience with RSL Aquatics. Our main goal in signing our son up for lessons (outside of actually learning to swim) was for him to build confidence with being in the water. We started with our son being scared to put his head under water to no fear, jumping in the pool. The progress we've seen in two short months has been great! We are having a great experience with RSL Aquatics! The owners are very passionate about safety and wants your kids to succeed. Everyone has been extremely helpful from the scheduling staff to the swim instructors. My two kids (ages 2 and 9) have gained so much confidence not only in the water but within themselves from lessons. We are so glad we found RSL! I can't say enough amazing things about RSL. Rene and Dave, and the entire staff for that matter, have given my children the gift of loving to swim. My boys have been in some sort of swim lessons since 6 months old, usually at the YMCA. As I'm sitting here watching my 3yo daughter start her second session of swim class, I'm a proud dad and wanted to drop this post. We enrolled my daughter for her first ever swim classes 2 weeks ago (session 1), she was as green as green can be (no water experience). From day 1 to day 8 (session = 8 classes) my wife & I can't believe how much she has learned. This is all due to the great coaches she had during her session, a big SHOUT OUT to Ms. Sage, Ms. Natalie, Ms. Yvette & Mrs. Rene they all had a big impact on our daughters growth. We were in awe of the great connection with my daughter & other kids there and happy that they even show the kiddos the discipline they should have around the water/pool. Water is very dangerous, and for RSL to take that seriously and teach our little ones the safety around the water is AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see the growth of my daughter after this second session. My daughter took swimming classes here for two weeks, at first, she seem to love it, but that changed very quickly. She started to NOT want to go & would cry for me to not take her. It was the strangest thing because she loves the water. But I quickly came to realize the issue, it was the instructor & the staff, they are extremely cold, especially the owners daughter, she would yell at my daughter, (& other kids) in such a Condescending/ Cold way to get her feet out of the water because my daughter would be there exactly 2 minutes before her lesson. I totally understand that there are safety rules but seriously, you're talking to a child, you could find a nicer way. & of course the owner of this establishment or lie, and say that my daughter was swimming b4 her lesson, but was she out there , NO. read more

We enrolled my son for the 1st time at 6 months old and a 2nd time now that he's 1. We have learned valuable lessons from the Owner and other instructors. We practice at home as well. The swim school is absolutely the best I've experienced. the entire location is clean and nicely decorated the upkeep is phenomenal. Each staff member I encountered was polite, friendly helpful.. The owners are absolutely fantastic. The most important part is that they take the swim lesson seriously it's more than just a fun activity for the children. They truly want to teach the children to swim and survive. Should they fall into a pool or a body of water? The focus is on learning the teachers were so helpful to my grandson who was really struggling to understand the concept of when to hold his breath when to take big gulp of air when to blow bubbles they were very patient with him enough to help him learn so he would take it serious but nice enough and fun enough that he enjoyed the class. Was just sitting in class talking with other parents about how much we love this place. They have such good teaching methods. My four-year-old has become a surprisingly strong swimmer--so great not to feel afraid of him falling in--and he's always asking to sign up for an other round of lessons. He just has a great time. The facility is gorgeous and we love the teachers. I recommend especially coming for lessons in the fall and winter--lessons are greats all they round, much in low season, the classes are smaller, so the kids get even more attention. read more
