The breast stroke kick is a particularly difficult one for the kids to grasp. Melanie has worked with my daughter and shown a lot of patience as she figures it out. Melanie's taken the time to show her the mistakes and explain the movement with more clarity. We have seen my daughter begin to grasp the concepts and make strides towards taking that next step

One star for management, not instruction. To be clear up…read morefront: this review isn't about the instructors. Evan, Enun, and Tony have all been excellent. My issues are with how the school is run. The app. It doesn't work properly. It doesn't show full account info, so you can lose makeup lessons without realizing it. Scheduling a makeup is difficult because the information displayed is incomplete -- and half the time the booking function isn't working anyway. I'm paying for lessons and losing them to broken technology the school chose. Class size. This summer I enrolled my daughter in a two-week program. Before signing up, I specifically asked how many students would be in the class and was told three. In week two -- after she'd settled in with her instructor and classmates -- a fourth child appeared. I was told up to four is normal for a group lesson. This wasn't a typical group lesson; it was a special program, and I had asked the question directly beforehand. I pulled her out immediately and was refunded for the week, but we were disappointed because she was making real progress. More broadly: four kids in a 30-minute lesson is too many at the lower levels. Very little gets accomplished, and it's a significant lift for a parent -- getting there, changing, in the pool, out, showered, home, often with siblings in tow. There are better options nearby. Several other schools cap group lessons at three. Life Time Fitness offers swim classes at $120/month with a membership we already have -- same duration, fewer kids, lower cost, and an app that actually works. Private lessons. I've switched to privates because there's no other option here, but they're only 20 minutes, which isn't enough time to build or retain much. One more thing: makeup lessons can only be rescheduled once. If your child gets sick, you're out the lesson and the money, even with ample notice. We'll stay until I've used the makeup lessons I've paid for, then we're moving on. It's a shame feedback doesn't seem to land. I have two younger kids behind this one, and we'll be taking that business elsewhere.

I appreciate the fact that the upper management really hands on in solving my scheduling issue…read more Pros: Indoor Instructors quality and patience Online system Great Phone customer service Cons: Costly Complicated online scheduling system Any cancellation will automatically revert to "make-up" class Some lessons are automatically cancelled by the company Limited Male instructors availability Not allowed in the water before the class time. Tips: just try ur best not to reschedule your class time to avoid confusion and misunderstanding of the policy I was glad finding an indoor swimming class, esp since Im a LA FITNESS member. I dont mind the high price too, even thou its almost as expensive my kids' private figure skating/ ice hockey lesson. What i do mind was the frustration from the scheduling system. I purchased 4 lessons package and scheduled my 3 kids lesson back in May. The extra 1 lesson was converted to make up class because I canceled 1 future lesson. A month later i saw the make up lesson was gone, and i was reading the "help" section that I need to pay another class so that the make up credit will be available. In which i did (so now i have 1 make up lesson and 1 paid lesson) I have 3 kids and i want them to have an equal chances to any activity, so i ended up paying 3 extra lessons and scheduled them back to back (at this point i have 1 make up lesson and 4 paid lessons). Next morning, i found out one of the class was cancelled, and i called the customer service. Thankfully she was helpful and she helped me in scheduling my kids lesson around. I wanted to use all of my lessons (paid or make up) so i wont need to worry about this complicated things anymore and will move forward finding other company. When i checked my online account, i noticed some of the classes were marked as make up lesson, and missing one class. I called again, and another rep saying i still have one paid lesson and that make up lesson is way of the company give it for free. How could it be for free when money already taken out from my account? Oh my GOSH. So frustrating! The reason i purchased 4 extra single lessons so that I can save time taking all of them together at the same time frame. Felt that I have to either let one class gone, or purchased more so i can scheduled all of them together again. Its your take, either you want to take in my review or not, but as a single mom with three kids and 2 jobs, dude, i work hard for my money (like anyone else) and for time off work to take them to activities, so I dont appreciate this back and forth confusion and complications. Another cons, as a first timer, we didnt know what to expect and noone greeted us when we arrived. I told my kids to go in 5 min prior to stretch in the water, on the side, so they wouldn't bother others, and that was not allowed. So for more than $29 lesson per 20 min, child should jumped in on the first minute, lesson, and out on the 20th min. The instructors Muna and Christian were good. I appreciate they let me know where my kids were in their skills.

She has a positive but firm demeanor. She is EXTREMELY patient and kind. My daughter went from lookin like a drowning starfish to a strong, controlled swimmer. Granted she still has a way to go but considering shes only had a few lessons I am just extremely impressed with how much she's improved and I feel that's a direct statement on how Vayda teaches. If you were on the fence about trying waterworks I can definitely say that Coach Vayda made this a worthwhile endeavor and if shes still with waterworks next year I may opt to re enroll my daughter for more lessons. Thank you Vayda for doing what you do. We appreciate you!

I lived a sedentary lifestyle where I would be glued to a chair for 8 hours a day and stress eat due to responsibilities. I knew I wanted to workout, but didn't have the time nor energy to build out a workout routine, meal plan, and even keep myself accountable to just go...until I met coach daniel. After days of research and personal consultations with multiple trainers, I chose Daniel. His energy is infectious and most importantly, he is understanding of what goals you are trying to achieve. At first I wanted to to build strength, but later on I switched to running. His knowledge and versatility of how to pivot programs is mind blowing. One thing worth noting, he is very precise and he will teach you the science behind the movements. A teacher + coach = win! I know the biggest hesitation with training is cost, however, your health bill will be 10x if you don't do anything about it. Im glad I picked coach daniel because I have been able to achieve a healthier lifestyle, crush personal records, lose 30 pounds, and be more disciplined. Thank you coach daniel for what you've done for me and I look forward for whats to come!
