If you're in St. Augustine, do yourself a favor and check out Treylor Park!…read more We grabbed seats at the bar and immediately loved the vibe--super friendly atmosphere, really clean, and a menu that's anything but boring. One of the coolest touches? A TV disguised as a piece of art that's actually a live stream of downtown St. Augustine. Such a fun, unique detail! Now let's talk food I ordered the shrimp and grits tacos, and WOW--they were packed with flavor. The grits added this unexpected crunch that worked so well with the shrimp. The textures blended perfectly and made every bite interesting. My husband went for the Miyagi beef tacos... and let's just say there were zero leftovers. He cleaned his plate, which says everything. Great vibes, creative food, and a memorable experience all around. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

It got pretty busy while we were there, but impressively, they were running with just one server--and he absolutely held it down. Despite the crowd, he stayed attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which really stood out. The menu is where things get especially interesting--unique, playful, and definitely not your standard fare. I tried the chicken apple pie sandwich, which was as unexpected as it sounds. It was fun, different, and surprisingly good! It is one of those dishes you won't find just anywhere. Husband loved his upscale bologna sandwich and the waffle fries were yummy! Overall, Treylor Park delivers on atmosphere and creativity. It's a great spot if you're looking for something a little outside the box with a fun, energetic vibe and memorable food.

I recently went on a day trip to this Buc-ee's location - at least 1 hr drive each way. I honestly…read morethought I had been to this location before, but I guess not. This was on a Sunday, and both the lot and store were busy as an angry beehive. It took me maybe 20 minutes to get gas due to the lines and waiting...and some waiting because some people parked at the pump and then went inside to "shop first" as the gas at Buc-ee's is pay-at pump only. Afterwards, I parked in a normal space and went inside to peruse the store. After some fun window shopping through the clothing, home goods, etc. I purchased some food. My objective was to spend my gift card, and I already knew that I wanted to get some of that famous brisket. I ended up with brisket, some spicy garlic jerky and a beverage from the cooler section. I'm still amazed that I can easily spend 1.5-2 hours in a gas station. I still enjoy perusing through a Buc-ee's and hope the novelty never wears off. Maybe next time, I'll try the car wash just to see how it compares to my local station. I stay stop by and see for yourself, but I am clearly biased.

I didn't see any kiosks where you could order. Plenty of bathrooms and nice and clean. I love their seasonal selection; they had a few swimsuits for sale and some fun sun shirts. I was tempted to pick up a black button up set with neon sign print (with the Buc-ee's mascot in them), but I ended up just picking up a bumper sticker of which they had several cute designs. We got a cheesesteak burrito and the chicken and fries box. The burrito was just okay, but the chicken and fries was delicious! It also came with two free sauces of your choice and a ice cream bar. We tried the blueberry cheesecake and it was yummy; just missing the crumbly graham cracker crust. We also got our classic favorites: beaver chips, the baked skinny cheese curls, chocolate covered espresso beans, the roasted sugary nuts, and some of their jerky (overpriced, but tasty). Stay away from the fudge...

Bonus points for the colours and addition to mint for flavor. Note on food: biscuits are lovely, chicken fried cauliflower is inspired. The Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar was not just the best place I visited on a recent stay in the Port Orange/Daytona area, it's one of the best places I've eaten period and all I did was lunch. We stopped in without reservations but they found space for us outside on the front porch. It was right after Christmas and I have rarely seen a restaurant do it better. Cotton in the trees and bushes to simulate snow, classic Holiday decor everywhere you looked. Every detail was amazing! Inside was like stepping into 19th century home that was elegant and regal. The only thing better than the atmosphere was the food. Our Pork Belly Bruschetta was elegantly presented and just melted in your mouth. Salty, sweet, robust, just incredible and a great recommendation from our waiter. My wife and I split the Shrimp Po Boy along with a Chicken sandwich and there were both just next level compared to anytime we've had these before. If you're in the area, if you're within an hour, if you want to do a day trip, build it around the Rose Villa Southern Table and Bar. I can't wait to try their dinner. and bring others to enjoy this truly top-notch dining experience. This is what dining out should be. I highly recommend you give them a try.
