I have been going there for years. I usually request the same type room when making my reservations and this year 2 days before my scheduled arrival I got a call informing me they were unable to accommodate my specific room, due to some delays in remodeling the specific area of the Inn, however they were changing me with an upgrade, I accepted but not sure what I would be getting. Let me tell you they put me in a room that was so much larger and a better view than what I had initially reserved . That staff at the front desk are alway so friendly and helpful with anything you may need, directions or suggestion of where to dine. The only reason I give this hotel a star, is because it was clean. Other than that, everything sucked. There was no hospitality at all. Literally zero housekeeping. My wife and I were here for 5 nights, and never had housekeeping come by once, and we asked the front desk twice, and they said they would be right by. Needless to say, they never showed up. If it weren't for our laptops and an hdmi cable, we would have never been able to watch tv. The toilets quit working, and surprise, maintenance never did come by to fix it. False advertising on booking.com. Said they had 2 Queen beds - NOPE - 2 double!!! Said it was 4 star!! NOPE! 3 star if you're lucky! Faucet was busted!! Shower curtain was not secure! Clean and safe and great view but did not appreciate the false advertising and trying to squeeze into a double bed with my wife!! Still a decent place with some issues though... The Canadians that owned this hotel sold it. Not sure who owns it now but there have been several changes for the worse... The hotel has some new furniture in the lobby and some in the rooms. It looks nice. The staff need better training. They offer some muffins in the morning and drinks but that is it. Many of the amenities are gone. The rooms were clean and nice enough for the price. This hotel has a great beach view, The lobby was clean and so were the bathrooms. If you like to sit on your balcony you should be aware that you will be dripped on by the AC condensation from the units above you while you sit in your chair. Many of the balconies have this issue. This is a maintenance issue that the hotel is doing nothing about. Parking was fine. The beds are comfortable but were not replaced in the update. This part of the beach is starting to decline so be aware of that... This hotel is ok for the price but make sure you get a good deal here... read more

I travel for work and I personally rely on yelp for reviews... so here it is.. Great location- love the oceanview- right on the water. Room is large- has a fridge, stove, extra sink and small two seat table if you'd like to eat in the room. Balcony is decent size. Here's the con- Cleanliness is... somewhat questionable. At the end of the day- cleanliness is huge for me especially on the beds. Sheets look clean. The fuzzy blanket - is questionable as their material catches things like hair/ Although it may be washed. I found some hair all over the blanket so I disregarded it without hesitation as I just don't take the chance. Bathroom is where it got me. Hair all over the wall and a little bit in the sink. YOU CANNOT MISS ALL OF THE HAIR on the wall and where the soup holder is. I do not have that hair type or hair color so it's 10000000% not mine. 3 starts for location- I hope this is a miss. They are fully booked so I'm screwed.... It'll be okay for a few days.... Thank god for Clorox wipes. If you don't bring some during your travel trips- definitely do so!! Here's your sign! read more

We stayed here in an ocean view and the room was amazing. The pool area was great and plenty of chairs. I wish that the breakfast area was finished but the coffee was still good. One older lady at front desk was not always pleasant but we just smiled and kept moving. I recommend this place but I would prefer a Tiki Bar for the poolside. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!! The location is terrible!!! We stayed here for one night the day before Christmas eve, and when we woke up that morning to go back home, and all the Christmas present that we had for our children were GONE! Stolen right from our car. The hotel says that they are not responsible for any items stolen on the grounds, but I think that is just poor costumer service. We had to drive home and explain to my kids that we would have no presents on Christmas day. Do you know how heartbreaking that was for my husband and small kids . Breakfast was a bit of a disappointment as there really isn't one, just a couple muffins and coffee vs the full breakfast they have had in the past. Beneath the surface of appealing pictures on their website, lies a harsh reality: rude and unprofessional staff, malfunctioning amenities (like the hot tub), and a dirty environment. In particular, the woman working at the reception on December 25, 2024, was outrageously rude. She was openly disrespectful, spewing obscenities while casually chewing a toothpick, sending a clear message of indifference and neglect. When I asked her name, she answered "Have a nice night, ****". Terrible. She needs to be fired. The majority of their reviews on TripAdvisor and here look generic and most likely posted by the staff. read more

They watch you through the cameras and try to charge you for guests visiting during the day. Stayed here in May 2025, didn't even get through one day at this Inn. one of my room keys wasn't working so I went to the front desk to ask them for a new key. the receptionist let me know that the manager put a note on my account that they were watching me through the cameras and they noticed I had two additional guest meet me in my room and were going to charge me. I remind you I have just checked in at this point and had two friend that live in the area come by to go to the beach with me, since the Inn is on the beach. This is exceptionally unprofessional and a bit creepy to know I am being watched and tracked. I don't recommend this place to anyone. If possible stay anywhere else. Unfortunately I paid in advance for a week and am already feeling uncomfortable and will the entire time knowing I am under surveillance for some reason. My husband & I have stayed at The Nautilus Inn at least 15 times as a family. We just came home yesterday from another wonderful visit. The hotel is extremely clean, and as you walk into the main lobby it even smells fresh and is very well decorated with plenty of comfortable seating. We appreciate the kitchen and the basics included as we enjoy a couple nights in with drinks and cooking an easy dinner. Nice place but I was charged a $300 booking fee a week and a half after we checked out. They never mentioned a booking fee when we checked in. No wonder they want a credit/debit card on file. Be sure to stop payment on your card after they charge your card for the room. read more

First I'd like to say the hotel is beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfy. However, the customer service was terrible. I and my family & friends came for my brothers wedding and we had 6 different rooms booked. One room was missing a coffee pot (but the machine was there). When she called to get another, she was told they "don't have time to run around to find you one from another room, so come down and get free coffee in lobby". When my brother called for more toilet paper he was told he had to come get it. When the coffee station was empty the manager on duty said "I can't know if you don't come tell me things need replenishing". She also went on to say that guests steal everything and we are lucky they still serve coffee. Her demeanor was angry and disgruntled every time. The fridge in the lobby where you can buy cold water was also empty multiple times in two days, and again she said guests should tell her. When I worked in places like that it was the staffs job to check on supplies etc, not the guests. It was very disappointing that for such a special occasion my family members were treated so rudely. read more

We Fing loved this place! As parents traveling with kids those happy hour drinks were amazing! We looked forward to it every day! The pool was awesome.and loved having the beach access. The first day we came only one elevator was in service because they were replacing the floor. They slapped that puppy down and we were back in business! One of the best places I've stayed. I really can't say enough to the credit of this hotel. The room was fantastic, the view was amazing, the price was very reasonable, the staff was very very courteous and helpful. Heated pool, hot tub, ample chairs and tables around the pool area. There is a happy hour every day from 5-6 with free drinks, breakfast comes with the room (the muffins are delicious). The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. There is a kitchenette with a full size stove and refrigerator. The door to the balcony is easy to open, the beds are comfy. The hotel is owned by a Canadian tour bus company so you will run into a lot of retired Canadians which if great because they're all nice and aren't screaming and doing cannonballs in the pool. I found the whole stay very relaxing and completely enjoyable. This place is WELL worth checking into. 10 out of 5 stars! read more

The location of the hotel itself is really nice! Directly at the beach with free parking, a nice pool and a wonderful view! The stuff is doing a terrible job! Totally unmotivated and unfriendly! We arrived at 3:15pm but they made us to wait till 4pm also there were plenty of rooms available! The happy hour is a joke: they proudly announce to have free drinks from 5-6pm but after 3 small drinks ( the cups are small) they refuse to give you more as they say "you had your limit!" And this even if you are not drunk at all AND stay at the hotel where you dont need to drive... The elevator was out of order the entire time! A sign said "for service"! The ladder of the pool was broken and my kid got hurt! At least they fixed it! Dont count on beach towels - they only have a hand full. Bring your own or be ready not to have any! We came in at 10:00 a.m. on a Friday morning. They were able to check us in at 11:45 even though we weren't supposed to check in until 4:00 p.m.. Valerie at the front desk is super sweet. Everyone is very helpful. The breakfast was good and hot. We had pancakes, sausage, eggs, etc. It was a good breakfast. The only recommendations that we would have are: coffee available to the guest throughout the day, more vending machine options, salt/pepper in the rooms because there is a full kitchen, and a fitness area. We really enjoyed the cocktails at happy hour. The hotel is centrally located on the Atlantic strip. You can ride the city bus for 1.75 a one way trip or get a day pass for 3.75. It runs until midnight. All in all we had a great time and the hotel was nice...especially for the fee read more

I'm not a beach hotel guy. I'm a business traveler. But we came here on vacation after 3 days at Disney World. I thought the Nautilus was great. I want to go back someday. Reasonable rate, ocean front, friendly staff, clean, etc. The day we were there they had a happy hour. Free cocktails and domestic can beer. We took advantage of that. The free continental breakfast was good too. They offered the normal items you'll find on a hotel continental breakfast but their muffins were warm! Not sure if they just warmed them up or if they actually baked them. They were tasty so maybe it was the later. You'll like this place. I recommend it. read more
