Dave is great! knowledgeable, courteous and quick. I have had more than one occasion where I rode my bike to the shop with an issue that just cropped up and Dave has me in and out in a few minutes and always at a reasonable price. They also sell higher-end mountain, road and other bikes, not because they are snooty, but because they won't compromise on quality. Will be back as soon as my ride starts giving me another fit...and Dave will have it back on the road or trail ASAP! Dave has always been knowledgeable on any of my bikes including my Intence tracer brand bike which was custom made. He's the only one that has been able to work on it. He's also been very helpful with my Trek road bike and all of my companies Trek community B bikes. Dave has always been professional and I've witnessed people coming off the streets asking for free servise or free tires. I've seen people come in off the streets just looking to take their aggression out on the next store owner that might have the patience to give them a second to vent. This is a very honest business and I'm happy to learn you moved your shop to an area that probably has more recreational riders and would appreciate a skilled business such as yours. read more

We had a really good experience the first time we went in, but it went downhill every time we went back. My husband needed to get the fork on his mountain bike repaired. I know these things take time, but it wasn't ready in the time frame we were given and we had to cancel a couple rides with friends. That's certainly not the worst thing, but I feel like the owner is just overly difficult to deal with. read more

Full Service Bicycle is my new go-to bike shop! These guys really believe in customer service and are professionals that know their stuff. After another shop off of Alameda had my bike for 5 weeks... couldn't fix shock, farmed it out, couldn't be fixed and then they couldn't find replacement part. I got on internet and after an hour found the new shock from a dealer in Ohio. I took the information to FSB and they confirmed for me that this shock would work and that it was an upgrade and a very good deal. I got the shock 4 days later and took it down to them and they turned the replacement around in 24 hours. Then they spent 20 minutes with me tweaking shock for my weight and riding style and had ride in parking lot and further tuned. What incredible service from Dave, the owner, and technician Brian! This was the most unprofessional shop I have ever been into. An employee verbally assaulted me. I showed up to the shop at 5:30pm (they advertised that they are open until 6:00). The outdoor repair stations were set up and I didn't see any employees. I knocked on the front door and no one came. I entered the shop and audibly asked if anyone was there as I stepped inside. A younger male technician approached and told me "Sir, the shop is not open to the public." I immediately apologized and headed for the door. Another man came out from the back and looked at me and said "I can't understand why you people can't f**king read." At which point I asked him to clarify as the open sign was on, the door unlocked and open time advertised until 6:00pm. He then walked towards me yelling for me to get out of the shop. I told him I was leaving and did respond with the same tone. He then told me "F**k you and f**ck your mother." I was astonished that this business has customers. I understand that we are all extra stressed about the pandemic and assumed that there must have been a regulation that I couldn't be in the shop during the crisis and was responding accordingly, but the employee who needlessly escalated this situation instead of clarifying and being professional should be dismissed. If that person was the owner than this is not a family friendly establishment and should be avoided. read more

These guys are great! I was looking for a bike lock but they didn't have exactly what I needed but I was in a pinch and they stored my bike for me while I went to an event at Bandimere. I've stopped in 3 times in the last month, each time after visiting Green Mtn Sports and not finding what I needed. Full Service Bicycle will now be my first stop. The owner at Full Service (I forget his name) has been there to help out each time and has been great. He's very laid back, no high pressure sales tactics. Asks what you are looking for and what you want to use it for to get a good understanding of your needs and propose alternatives if he doesn't have it exactly. Today for example, I was looking for a Stan's No Tubes syringe to add sealant. He didn't have the brand name one, but had a 60mm syringe and some tubing that did the same thing at 1/3 of the price. He also had the Chamois butter and Glide, all of which were unavailable at Green Mtn. Fully Service may be a smaller shop in a bit of a hidden location, but they are well worth stopping in and checking out. read more

I went in requesting they build a custom tubular wheel set and glue some tubular tires on them. I had purchased all the parts from my team shop (discount on parts but shop is far away) and brought them into Full Service to build. They said that they did a spoke calculation and that all my parts were fine. Turns out they were not. They installed the spokes and realized they were too long so they had to switch them out, but didn't tell me this. I found out when I went to pick them up they billed me an extra $50 for the new spokes and gave me back the installed spokes, which can no longer be returned. Additionally I dropped the wheels off nearly two weeks and they said they'd be ready to race by the weekend. I ended up picking them up on a Saturday afternoon, therefore not being able to race them the following day since the glue didn't have enough time to cure. They seem like nice guys but I was really pissed about not telling me about the spokes. Had they told me they were the wrong size, I would have brought them back to the shop I bought them from for a refund. They didn't even offer me a discount for not telling me about the spokes or for the delay in getting my wheels. I was very displeased with their service and won't ever do business with them again. read more

If you're in the market for a new bike, this is the place to come. The sales people (esp., Brad) are supremely knowledgeable and will help you through every step of the bike-owning experience, from learning about your goals (commuting? fitness? racing?), to establishing a price range, to getting a fit, to all your post-purchase maintenance. When you buy a bike here, you don't just buy a piece of machinery and walk out the door. You create a relationship. The Bike Station guys love bikes, and they are genuinely interested in you and making sure that you love biking too. A note to the lovers of slick, shiny and flashy mass-merchandising: if you want pretty, go to REI and pray for good service from a dude who works there for the discount and not the love of cycling. (Don't get me wrong, I love REI, but not for buying a bike.) But if you want service, go to the Bike Station. When people really care, you feel it. And I leave he Bike Station feeling warm, fuzzy and fast as hell on two wheels. read more

I was getting frustrated with constant brake issues. I had avids disc brakes and they were past warranty. Dave made things right and got me new SRAM brakes and rotors under warranty with a quick turn around. This shop staff is knowledgeable and nice. What I like is that they aren't obvious bike snobs and don't nickel and dime you. Rather they they get you what you need to be back on your bike and not break the bank. read more
